With only about 60% of buyers leaving feedback, 10 in a row is a rarity for me.
I don't think I've ever had more than about 15 in a row, but thanks
for those who leave feedback.

Insurance won’t cover packages that are “delivered” per the USPS tracking. USPS
considers them delivered, even if the neighbor got it accidentally or whatever.

Now the buyer left neutral feedback for not receiving an item.

I have provided tracking and it shows "Delivered, In/At Mailbox"

Now while I understand that this is frustrating for the buyer, what else can
I do and is there a way to get this feedback removed?

The buyer said in his feedback "Didn’t receive item. Seller did not offer
anything for lost items!"

Again, I understand the frustration, but why should I offer something for a lost
item that was lost by USPS or placed in the wrong mailbox?

Thanks

What value was involved in the order ? Did it exceed the $100 standard coverage
provided by USPS ?

Nita Rae

No, it was much less than 100 Dollars.
It was 20 Dollars. But the buyer never asked for anything or contacted me again
after saying he will check with USPS.
So I was not aware of any progress or anything until I received the feedback.

Bricklink policies outline that a seller is responsible for a package until the
customer recieves it. Perhaps one of the more experienced sellers can read into
that and define it better.

I do not believe that BrickLink has any policies for sellers in this regard.
What we do have are Paypal policies and general good online sense. If you buy
something from someone online and don't receive it, that shouldn't be
on you as the buyer.

Hi Jen,

so should it be on the seller who packed it, shipped it, provided tracking?
I can not hand deliver things all over the US, so it is kind of hard to do something
from my side about it besides what I have been doing.

Once a buyer contacted us after 2 month said she started building with her kids,
our order was missing among 7 orders.

We pointed that USPS tracking showed it was delivered. She left a neutral feedback
and placed an identical order. I asked our packer to rush it, also upgraded it
to priority mail. Before package is out, she sent us a request to cancel it.
Her father got the package, put in his truck and forgot!

So we out of PayPal fee, time to pack and unpack order, and a black mark. When
I asked her to please remove the feedback, all I got is radio silence.

I thought to ask other buyers if anyone else might have their package. Not a
good idea it seems.

USPS has location code for where that delivered scan was mas done. However it
won't help if your buyer's address has an apartment #, it won't be
that accurate.

We had several such cases, you can send a message to USPS asking for information.
Sadly most of such message got ignored. We got one email but the package wasn't
found and we refunded it in full.

Our policy is refund if there is proof it was misdelivered. We ask the buyer
go to their locate post office and get information. Two buyers got refund from
USPS thanks to the $100 insurance with the new ground advantage.

We also asked the buyer if any family or friends might get the package for them,
but it seems most buyers reacted badly for such question.

That really sucks for you, as seems buyer also lost package on May 13, 2023.
Maybe their location is not secure, or postal incompetence in that area, or
buyer dishonesty. It should be the buyers responsibility to hold off from making
purchases online if they come up with a frequent amount of lost packages.

Tho you are fully responsible for the package even if usps looses it you are
only responsible until its marked as delivered (or if over $600 or something
also signed for) so you don’t have to refund. I don’t think you can do anything
to remove the feedback besides working it out with the customer but if not it
may be best to respond to the feedback with some added context such as “tracking
shows delivered, usps search started” or something similar

Bricklink policies outline that a seller is responsible for a package until the

the Neutral worth to you? Is it worth it to ignore and move on? Is it worth the
price of a full refund if the customer is willing to remove the feedback? I would
explore different things. It sucks tho and I'm sorry this happened to you.
Best wishes

In other words, first remove then post anew. Which seems to be a common
gap in understanding of the process. Maybe the two-step is somehow counterintuitive
to someone with simply "changing" feedback on their mind?

How do I change feedback from positive to negative? I accidentally left Praise

RIGHT!?!? I retired young and one of the biggest things I miss is seeing the
impact my work made, so this is a small victory for after the week I've had

Even though I do this its basically just covering my hobby costs at this point
and consider myself early retired (I'm 41). I don't have many impactful
moments on the world but the few I've had do blow me away.

I do enjoy harmless social experiments, and I partake in them myself when bored.
While I'm typically against soliciting feedback for a few reasons, I still
find it very amusing that this worked.

disposing or even recycling it...

Also, you may even get a non positive Feedback for doing this if you fell on
an ecologist buyer

You do know connecting to internet, turning on the computer(let alone a 24h on
pc for syncing) also produces co2 right?

And an ecologist going online, to buy Plastic that complains about a sheet of
paper truely is lost in my point of view.

But the world sees greater forms of stupidity these days though.

Lots of discussion about your terms, but that would mostly impact the amount
of orders you get. Hopefully with the changes you're planning to make you'll
have more orders coming in.

Terms do matter after the order is placed and received, especially if they werent
read beforehand. For example, they still have this in their terms "If buyer
is not satisfied with product, buyer will pay return shipping as well as a 20%
restocking fee. Remaining balance will be refunded as store credit or through
Paypal (Buyer Choice)." So what the seller is saying is that if they send
poor quality parts, the buyer has to pay for return shipping and a 20% fine for
not being satisfied. In that case, it might not be worth returning the parts,
or even bothering to tell the seller. If they leave appropriate feedback, they'll
probably get a negative back. So instead, they don't leave feedback even
though they are dissatisfied, and least favourite the store so they never have
to deal with them again.
