hello, can u please help me with the order? i know u can ignore my question,
but i really dont know what to do. so, there is a situation - i ordered some
goods from a seller which have over 1000 praises, and status of the order is
"packed" havent changed from the 7th of may. seller told me he dropped my order
and promised to give a tracking number, but he didnt do that and my messages
take him 2 days to read. how should i do with that? report a problem or what?
i tired about it u know. status havent changed from 7th of may but seller said
it dropped.

If on the store terms they don't specify a lengthy dispatch time then you
have given them more than enough time to deal with the order so its time to file
a non shipping seller. Go to the order itself, when in the order top right report
problem and you should have the option on the left for non shipping seller.

Im gonna go with metallic silver and good/enhanced pic, same as the Tano Brickhead,
that one got my hopes up for a short time on the early release pictures. I would
be truly amazed if they did chrome again.

  good morning everyone,

thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

I opened a second shop on BL with my wife's account.

now I would like all the inventory of the 1st store (mine), copy it to the second
store (my wife's) and then close the first store (mine) ...

SOMEONE CAN INDICATE ME THE CORRECT PROCEDURE FOR COPY PASTE? ? ?

THANK YOU

First of all, download both inventories and store them in a safe place... so
you have the originals should anything go wrong.

To download a copy of your inventory...
Go to your Inventory, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and there
is a Download link (https://www.bricklink.com/invExcel.asp). Use the XML file
format.

On the 2nd account, you can then upload the file you downloaded from the 1st
account.

Go to your Inventory.
There is an Upload option along the top menu (https://www.bricklink.com/invXML.asp?utm_content=subnav)

At this stage you need to open the downloaded file from your 1st account in e.g.
Notepad and copy the entire contents. Then paste it all into the 'File in
BrickLink XML Format' box, in the top section of the page.

Check the 'Consolidate lots...' options and whether you need to 'Concatenate...'
remarks.

Hit the 'Verify File' button and you should get a list of all the items
that will be uploaded.

Max upload is file size of 204800bytes (quoted on upload help page)

Easy chunking method, download brickstore, download inventory then you can chunk
to upload fairly easily. My personal preferred method than manually cutting up
the file.

Hey there fellow bricklinkers, I am trying to set up a seller's account for
the first time and am having difficulty linking either my Paypal or Stripe account.
I click the link to connect them and enter my email and password, but they don't
respond. Paypal gives me a blank page that says "security question", and stripe
just stays frozen.

If there's anyone out there that has had a similar problem or knows how to
sort this out, I would be eternally grateful

Also does bricklink have a phone line where I can contact someone that way??

Thanks

Had a similar glitch with paypal integration on another site, workaround was
to log in to paypal in second tab of the browser then try the link again. It
should then skip the two factor auth which was what wasnt popping up for me.

Doing a kind of minifigure firsts collection for a small frame for my own amusement
and want something interesting for the visitors to the guest toilet. To go alongside
my black/white/grey/clear only minifigures I am already working on.

So im thinking of all the firsts so before I get lost wadding through bricklink
and the internet I would ask some here, see if anyone knows

First minifigure head that wasn't the classic simple smile?
I'm thinking 1989 and the pirates line, but was there any earlier (ignoring
duplo, fabuland, etc) which I think covers first head with colour aka red beard

What year did the traditional head with dot eyes change to modern eyes (ignoring
when the female dot eyes had lashes)

Anyone know which was the first dress wedge legs (1990 cas097 maybe?) and again
first wedge legs printed

Other firsts I'm covering are, not that I yet have answers to them all, just
- First current size minifig aka non split legs(the ones in 1977)
- First as we know them minifig (early town figure)
- First non human head on a minifig (space droid 1994 looks likely)
- First rubber moulded head (probably an alien of some type, maybe not until
CMFs)
- First using trans clear body part (not head)
- First star wars figure
- First disney figure
etc, etc, the list is fairly long.

Any major first spring to mind that are also a nice looking minifig I should
include?

  Hi,

If I would buy the Minifigure Set 11 with a box of 30 bags, can I assume, that
I will get at least each minifig once or is it possible to not get all 16 of
them?

Best regards

If you only want one of each, you can always order this:

Set No: 71002 Name: Minifigure, Series 11 (Complete Series of 16 Complete Minifigure Sets)
*
71002-2 (Inv) Minifigure, Series 11 (Complete Series of 16 Complete Minifigure Sets)
16 Sets, 2013
Sets: Collectible Minifigures: Series 11 Minifigures

This above is your best bet and no from having had this particular series in
the 30 box they commonly do give you one full set but have personally experienced
them not. Boxes of 60 will give you at least one full set. Early the series more
common where complete sets per box but later ones they always tend to have a
pattern to the packets so there is truly more common minfigs and more rare ones
in each series. Anything thats been opened and resealed then all bets are off,
people shove all the common ones in them and sell them on.

  Hello,

I recently opened my bricklink store and have made 12 sales. Out of these 12
only 1 of them was a part order. Is this because i am a new seller? Are my part
prices too high, or do i not have enough stock? Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks, NGBrick

Noticed you have a lot of used, not everyone looks for used in common parts,
that may be holding you back a little, maybe add some new. However you have started
selling in the post school/summer holidays and now the start of the run up to
thanksgiving/christmas. Apart from the unusual last year when everyone was more
stuck inside I would say this is a quieter time of year for sales normally. But
you are in the US, lot of very big sellers over there. Bigger your range the
more sales you will have. Just keep slowly expanding until you hit either a space
limitation on stock or you reach a level of sales your happy with.

I have recently done the reverse and reduced down my quantity due to other life
commitments and that has slowed down sales massively.

  Hello

So I had an order placed about a month ago, and the buyer said that he had to
set up his PayPal in order to pay, I have messaged him since inquiring if he
had set it up yet, and have not had a reply. What would be my next steps, and
if it cancel the order will it come up under my reviews as a canceled order.

Cheers

Under the order godlike on problem with order and go ahead and file a Non Paying
Buyer. If they do not respond or pay after that you can cancel the order after
a while and put all the items back in your inventory.

This, 7 days past then do a non paying bidder under problem order top right of
the order itself. Wait another 7 and then state no response, the buyer will get
a warning this way in the 3 strikes your out way. Had one recently, seems to
be a false assumption they need a paypal account to checkout which isn't
true, they can simply checkout on paypal without registering when using credit/debit
card.

I have found the one top right but a different colour. Thanks

That face one seems to be the way the theme is going on DOTS so like you I also
cant find them but have seen a picture with that other coloured splotch in (DOTS
fan so was waiting for a bunch of releases) but in a new set. So im guessing
these are in the new and not yet inventoried. One of the last sets of dots in
the little bags took a good few months before it was inventoried on here. Park
them in a bag and circle back in a month or so to see if they have come online.

Nope im getting mixed up with a new corner splotch, they feel like they should
be part of the 2021 bracelets in colouration but they dont match. Im now wondering
if there is a such a thing as fake dots? I shall check back on this thread as
im curious myself now.

Thank you for the details, at least now we know the URL Avast is mad about.

It's this one: https://static.bricklink.com/renovate/js/build/cookieNotice.build.js

TL;DR: You're fine, you can disregard this particular alert.

At a glance it looks like a regular minified Javascript library file. The only
suspect thing is that it provides a base64 encoded data: URL as a SourceMap which
is used to debug the library even when it is minified.

This is probably what tripped Avast as base64 encoded data is routinely used
in malware to conceal a harmful payload, but I don't think it was warranted
in this case.

Needs to be de-listed on avast side, they have a form to report but you need
to be an avast user which im not to be able to report on your behalf.
https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php

If its really bugging you then couple of options you should have if memory serves
correct a disable for 10 mins, 1 hour, etc on the right click menu of the tiny
icon near your clock so if you have a lot of bricklink-ing to do then switch
it off for a bit.

You could try a local whitelist but this may not override it but worth a shot.
Rough instructions pulled from a site
Go to the “real-time shields” tab to display all modules available in this
interface.
Click on the “web shield” option and then on the “expert settings” tab to open
the settings window for web shield.
In this settings window, click on the “exclusions” tab found on the left.
Click the “ enter address ” button found in the “URLs to exclude” tab to insert
the website URL address of those websites that you want to put in the exclusions
list.
Click the add button after every website URL you have entered.
After adding all the sites to the list, click the “ok” button to save this updates
list.

Other than that as someone else has said you get windows defender built in to
windows 10 so you don't need another product. And have a look yourself at
the latest tests for the types of AV out there and you will see they are on par
with each other in terms of protection with microsoft tending to come out slightly
ahead at times in the home user market.

Right thats enough tech talk back to the lego!

Has the order changed in status at all? And have you checked the splash page/home
page on his store and terms to see if there is anything odd or long delays mentioned
that would explain it?

Otherwise if the order is marked as paid then you will need to start a non shipping
seller which you should be able to get to a link to it from the report a problem
on the top right of the order.

You may add this to the inventory as an alternate item. Do you also happen to

instead of

Mine look more like bright pink than dark pink when I compare them to relevant
2x4 brick of that colour. But the look of them is the same yes.

Always find it interesting with the subtle differences in a set. Shall eventually
have a go at submitting the alternate to the clock tile when I figure out how.
