As a seller, what measures will you take as a response of what we, as a community,
just experienced?

Safety measures, diversification of selling platforms, inventory backups, contingency
plans, etc...

Hello!

I have this used set

Set No: 4002016 Name: 2016 Employee Exclusive: 50 Years On Track
*
4002016-1 (Inv) 2016 Employee Exclusive: 50 Years On Track
1141 Parts, 2016
Sets: LEGO Brand: LEGO Employee Gift

which I intend to sell as complete. The thing is that it includes 16

Part No: 4085b Name: Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with U Clip Thin (Vertical Grip)
*
4085b Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with U Clip Thin (Vertical Grip)
Parts: Plate, Modified {Yellow}
,
but in one of the trains I have 2

Part No: 4085d Name: Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Open O Clip Thick (Vertical Grip)
*
4085d Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Open O Clip Thick (Vertical Grip)
Parts: Plate, Modified {Yellow}
as part of the build.

So 14 of the main ones and 2 of the other ones. I checked the parts list and
4085d is listed as an alternate part, so the question arises: Can I still list
it as complete even if 2 of the 16 yellow clips are from the kind listed as alternate?

Thanks!

Hello,

So I just parted out some sealed copies of this set

Set No: 5928 Name: Bi-Wing Baron
*
5928-1 (Inv) Bi-Wing Baron
64 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1998
Sets: Adventurers: Desert

and all the tires where sticky, so I put them aside for the time being.

This is the first time Ive parted something old with rubber parts in it, so I
wanted to ask if this is common for old rubber. (they had been sitting inside
a trailer on a hot +40ºc (100ºf) reaching and humid coastal city for context
for the last 20+ years).

Also, is there a way to fix it to be able to sell it at least as used condition?

Hi!

I recently changed my address to an american one for an order I planned in an
american store, which I already did. But now that I tried to restore my original
mexican address I noticed that Mexico is disabled in the "Change address"
process, along a bunch of other countries.

Does someone know why is this a thing?

PD: I already contacted Customer Support

I just uploaded the inventory for the 5007866/6469488 Taco Stand, but it is missing
a unique printed tile and its minifig cause they are new and dont exist yet in
the catalog.

I have also submitted this new part and fig couple days ago, but are still pending
approval; can the inventory still be approved like this or do I have to wait
for the part and fig to be first approved and then submit the complete inventory?

First time trying to do this so I have no idea what to expect. Also, how long
does this normally take? I was waiting for the set (cataloged by someone else
a month ago) to be approved, but yesterday somebody else re-cataloged it and
it got approved today so I'm confused.

  How long does the approval process for new sets, parts, and inventories take?

I want to contribute some images, a new part, and the inventory for an exclusive
mexican set, but the set has been pending approval since May 13th.

I already counted all pieces, took pictures, uploaded them, created the new part
& minifig id's (I have its inventory in Bricktore minus the new piece & fig
waiting for their approval). I just wanna know the usual delay time of the process.

The set is: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6469488-1#T=S&O={%22ss%22:%22MX%22,%22rpp%22:%22500%22,%22iconly%22:0}

New items can take a while to get added as there is always a massive backlog
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPend.asp
So bricklink prioritizes new sets that people will be more likely to part out
and similar and since a whole bunch of lego sets were just released with the
June wave it can take a while to get to old requests. Bricklink likes to prioritize
the ones that provide the most commercial benefit first they work on the other
ones as they have time since there are only a limited number of people who are
working behind the scenes

Makes sense, lets see how long it takes them to approve this obscure one, thanks!

I have one simple question regarding the topic written in the subject: If I'm
parting out a minifig whose head already comes assambled into the figs torso
from factory, when I pull them apart, does the torso and head count as used or
new?

  Hi, I’m from Mexico and i have to ship an order to the Netherlands, this is my
first time shipping over there, and i received a mail stating: “Print your order

get it at all.

Is it enough just to print the pdf attached to the mail and paste it on my parcel?

What am i supposed to do? I feel like a noob.

Thanks!

Thanks for your answers!!

I will be reporting back once I ship.

I will try to hand out that IOSS number in the postal office and ask about it
because they dont have any way to buy postage online. They dont even accept credit
card, only cash!!! We have a very technologically backwards postal service.

  So... after the initial input of inventory, how often do y'all randomly go
back and do a recount?
or do you just wing it from there?

Cause it's been about 6 months since I started my store and I notice some
numbers starting to be off but JESUS THAT'S A LIT OF WORK
-I don't have enough medicine for that

I have scales and I can maybe see where this going but explain! You can't
just leave me hanging

I did this once for over a month and it helped a lot:

I noticed I had quite a few inventory oopsies, so I just input my number of drawers
into a random number generator, then pick ten random numbers and thoroughly check
those ten drawers, no matter if they had 10 pieces or 1000 pieces. Did it on
a daily basis for about 5 weeks, and at the beginning I usually had 1-2 drawers
with error, and at the end I managed to be able to pick random drawers an d find
no errors.

I guess it might be better to do it in numerical order, but I wanted the randomness
of seeing what pieces I had where.

Hi,

I’ve just got a hold on some Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby from the new cmf series
24. I know they aren’t available yet, so I wanted to ask when are they going
to be available to be put on sale here on Bricklink.

This is the first time I’ve ever had a Lego set before its release.

Regards

Hello, I'm on a quest to encourage the use of BL in México, so I'm asking
the community:

What is/are the best reason/s you have to buy Lego on Bricklink vs FB marketplace,
ebay, etc...?

Hi!

I have some big 90s sets which I found fully built on a flea market with box
included. Should I disassamble the entire things to ship them or is it generally
accepted to ship used sets partially built?

(Just partially broke down to make it fit their boxes)

Greetings!

Would anyone be interested in getting these pirates classics? They are used but
in great condition, and virtually complete, I just need time to get to see if
they are indeed 100% complete. I have their boxes, but I'm missing instructions
for 6277.

Im gauging interest to see what should I to do with them.
