  Dear all,

I recently sold a number of Jester Cap's:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=62537pb03&idColor=1#T=P&C=1

The buyer contacted me after receipt of the parts. Some of the caps have the
letter C printed and some have Lego and part number printed. He is afraid the
parts with the C are not genuine Lego parts.
I am positive these parts are the original thing, I know for sure I have noticed
this C (copyright?) printed in other parts too but how do I convince the buyer?

Any thoughts appreciated!

Peter

Thanks all for your responses!
The buyer read the messages and has decided to keep the parts.

Many Fabuland sets come without instructions.

I think 3624 Flower Cart also did not have an instruction manual.

However it is in the Bricklink catalogue:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?I=3624-1#T=S&O={%22rpp%22:%2210%22,%22iconly%22:0}

The submitter did not use a picture. Does anyone have this manual or can someone
confirm that there is indeed no manual to this set?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi, in a bulk lot of primarily 70's/80's sets I found an old Lego 2 x
4 brick that I had not seen before.

It is yellow, has hollow studs and pat. pending below. There is no Lego logo
somewhere on the brick.

Can someone give more information? Was it used in sets for instance? I cannot
find the part on Bricklink

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Arnoud (aka leggodt) has made a great site to check off brand building bricks.
Maybe yours in his list.

Hey guys, just need to get something off my chest.

So ive used bricklink years before… as seller and buyer. I know how it’s supposed
to work.
I recently got back into LEGO again and have been placing many orders.

In all the years before Ive NEVER had so much orders being changed due to lack
of keeping track of inventory….it’s starting to really piss me off.
In the orders I placed last 2 months since I started again….7 out of 30 of those
shops DIDNT have the inventory that I ordered .
Making me YET again have to try to find a shop which has all of the parts… or
in worse chase even 2 or 3, paying for shipping cost once more (which the price
has also heavenly raised in these few years) just to get the right amount of
pieces for my MOC’s just because shops don’t have there inventory in check….
I mean jezus guys come on…Keep that inventory in order!!!!!

It’s really taking the fun out of things.

Now I still debating what I should do.. I just got ANOTHER Shop which requested
me to continue or cancel a large order… where it’s missen 4 items which again
I specially order there cause I needed that curtain amount and are not that common
to come across.

Frustration level is raising.

yah it seems to be happening more often. I just placed a few orders the other
day and one of them was for about 40 of 1 torso and the seller messaged me saying
they could find about 30 of them...

Really frustrating right?. Did the seller offer you anything for their mistake?

They fully refunded the order and said if I was interested I could place it again.
Which I did since I really needed the torsos.

Still think they good off easily to be honest… back in the day when this happens
you would get a discount al the least for the inconvenience. Personally I think
if you’re going to sell LEGO your starting a small business.. if something is
wrong, You make it up with the customer… how time has changed.. I feel like now
a days its “well I dont have the parts.. I don’t care I’ll take it of the order
send a “im Sorry” and be done with it.”

Although I understand it can be frustrating when some ordered parts are not in
stock I don't agree that the seller should automatically give an extra discount
or something like that.
Honest mistakes happen, a little understanding from BOTH parties is required
in my opinion.

Maybe that’s the best way they found so that everybody knows about the new feature?

Since I am relatively new here can anyone explain the purpose of the my collection
button?

Since I am relatively uhhh experienced here, I'm happy to discover a new
feature while there are tons of bugs to fix - just as an example, the Refund
which doesn't actually refund but writes "Refunded" on the order page, argh.

And of course nothing announced.
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2547&q=roadmap

And I don't receive any BrickLink announcements, for another reason: a bug
to fix?

Some days, it can be early or late - but I'm tired.

I normaly don't mind that they add new items but why do they have to change
the layout to? Why put this button on the place where the button was to add an
item to the inventory? I automaticly click on that spot to addd an new item.
Now I click constantly on the wrong button!!!

Thanks,

BrickLink collects US sales tax now. You must have an Onsite payment method so
they can process the payment.

Jen

Thank you Jennifer (and Nubbs), have added Paypal onsite. Let's see if it
works now.

Peter

It works!
Got my first USA order in months.
