Is this another glitch? Every time I go back to my orders received page, I am
FORCED to use the new layout!! I click back to view in 'classic layout'
but I don't get the option to have that as my default setting! Classic layout
is much more concise and I get more on a page without all the goblidy gook lines
that new layout has in it!

Okay, rant over.

I do not, but Lego might replace it, if you wanted: https://www.lego.com/en-my/service/replacementparts/broken/location

Thank you! If no one wants it for weirdness value, I will contact them.

Thank you!!! I just finished building it. It is the second time I built it,
I don't even recall the first time. But this second time, I thought it was
so fun since it is so intricate and cool! It is sitting on display here at the
Brick Dungeon now. :o)

No idea. Congrats on your orange brick, though!

Popsicle, thank you!! I shouted to my husband today that I did that, but didn't
want to be annoying to the BL folks and mention it. Thank you for noticing!!!

I just finished building the set #60306. It is Shopping Street. I was sure that
the little orange trimmed park on the side was a dog park. I thought the little
handlebars was for a leash holder. But looking at the box, there is a guy using
the bars as an exercise bar. Okay, so why is there a dog poop on the ground???
Did Lego just put that in there 'for fun' since it is a park after all,
and a dog may have been there to do his business? If so, shame on the dog owner
for not picking it up. I just may have to add a dog to this set to make it more
complete.

You can see the dog poop on the far left hand side of the box, in the park, under
the handlebars. It doesn't show on the first picture, so you have to scroll
down to the box picture.

Maybe the guy was exercising too hard?

Not human poo. At least, where the instructions indicate to put the poo, it isn't
under the guy.

Lisa at Brick Dungeon

The site is now required to collect and remit all requisite taxes: sales, use,
VAT, etc. Btw "etc" is coming

For cash, Lisa, I suggest keeping such transactions offline:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1213165 while filing any applicable
sales tax in the manner mandated by Washington state.

Beware:

“Just don't be trying to convert BrickLink orders into non-BrickLink
orders. That would be fee circumvention.”
(linked post)

Thank you, thank you everyone.

Rest assured, I was NOT trying to avoid BrickLink fees, or to avoid state sales
tax. And I said as much to the buyer. I was only trying to avoid the Paypal fees
of 53 cents to accept one dollar! (although with our tax, it would have been
a whole $1.09)

It would be nice if BrickLink was able to let us do that (take cash or other
payments), and to charge the seller the tax due, just as they now remove tax
from the payment when it is online.

That way, I could have taken the $1.09 from my buyer, and since BrickLink knows
how much tax is due, if they can't get it from the buyer, then they get it
from the seller, and they are not in violation of anything.

It could be set up as a fee a seller pays, just like the BrickLink fees.

if tax had to be collected then payment must be made onsite otherwise its a big
problem. Bricklink must collect tax. try refunding the buyer (complicated if
paid in cash possibly) and ask them to pay onsite

OH, ugh! How annoying. It was for a tiny order, and Paypal will collect more
than it is worth! I won't do that.

Thanks, I will leave it as is, I guess.

First time shipping to EU since the change. I received the pdf from BrickLink

get charged VAT twice. Where do I add that number to Paypal Ship Station??

Lisa

Found the same. Went to Pirateship

Thanks to both of you. I will check them out.

However, I must say I am a bit frustrated. I know there has been talk in the
past about the new VAT information. But did BrickLink send out a notice to all
us sellers that we have to jump through these hoops? I am very upset that I
cannot do this label through Paypal or Paypal's shipstation! I sure don't
want an angry buyer telling me that he has to pay VAT twice! Great. Now I have
to void the label and find a carrier that WILL let me print the label and add
the IOSS number given to me from BrickLink. Would have been nice to know this
before it came up for me! I am seriously thinking I will just forget about shipping
international if it is this much of a hassle.

Lisa

Have you checked if you have the option for newsletter checked here?

https://www.bricklink.com/pref_contact.asp

I have updated it, thanks.

Are there any strange characters in the conment or remark fields?

Can you complete the NPB without adding the item again?
You can add it afterwards separately from the NPB process.

I am going to try that. I do have some comments in there, so deleting those may
help. Thanks!

That was exactly it! Thank you so much!

Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 10199 Name: Winter Toy Shop
*
10199-1 (Inv) Winter Toy Shop
782 Parts, 7 Minifigures, 2009
Sets: Creator: Creator Expert: Winter Village Collection: Holiday & Event: Christmas

* Add 6 Part 3024 Reddish Brown Plate 1 x 1 (match ID 1)
* Delete 15 Part 3024 Dark Red Plate 1 x 1

Comments from Submitter:
Just did inventory comparison with my set that I bought new. There are 21 brown plates in my set, not 15 as shown on inventory page. Also, there are 9 dark red plates in my set, not 15 as shown on inventory page. So count is the same, but a few color changes.
