As soon as I see that they are passing on their charges, I least favorite the

When I showed my employee your pic, we both giggled. That unpaved area to the
left of the picture has now become an express-way that changes direction with
the time of day.

To add to this, 3 bricks' height works out to be just under 4 studs'
length (each brick in height is 6/5 a stud's length), which might be the
cause of the confusion

3 * 6/5 = 18 / 5 = 3.6

Thank you. I was just about to ask that. I need to be measuring doors by bricks,
not by studs on a plate... I think I must have forgotten that.

As far as I can tell, this item doesn't exist in black, but I can't figure
out what other part it could be. (Blue door is for reference and I'm pretty
sure it is 445a.)

Help, please and thank you!

The buyer completed the purchase correctly, but BL screwed up the display for
the bulk of the second item. I have never seen this error before now.

My second BL glitch in 48 hours. The other one was an order item that my records
and my BL emails prove I sold about 6 weeks ago, but appeared in a new order.
I know it's an error listing because the Retain Lots was NOT enabled and
pretty much 100 percent of my inventory items have Retain Lots turned ON.

Wasn't the update just a few nights ago? That is usually the pre-cursor
to this type of problem cropping up.

An O ring is Not a lego part, it is a sealing ring used in many mechanical applications.
Do an internet search for O ring.

Looks like an O ring to me. Is it stiff or does it stretch like a rubber band?

Not really stretchy. Any idea what item #? When I search for O ring all I get
is

2815 Tire Technic Wedge Belt Wheel
Parts: Wheel, Tire & Tread {Black}

which it absolutely is not.

I'm always nervous when trying to list these. This feels much thicker than
all the other bands I've listed, its 2 mm thick so I'm not sure if it
is LEGO at all. Is it either of these or some other part?

Also if your orders are packed Bricklink doesn't add new batches to it. Neither
if it is paid.

Apparently, it does. It has happened at least 5 times in the last year.

This is TAX fraud,

The initial order payments went through BL's payment system. It is only the
add-on/2nd batch orders that they have had to pay directly for. We are talking
less than $10 USD in sales tax. I have attempted to pay BL for the outstanding
amounts. I have broken down the $$ amounts, given a list of the order id's,
requested help, sent messages with subject line: I OWE YOU MONEY. What else am
I supposed to do? I have asked for help. I am in NO WAY attempting to defraud
anyone.

I've actually reached out to BL help desk and said that I owe them money
because of this very issue. I explained the entire situation, gave them a detailed
break down of the total dollar amounts involved, all order ID #'s and asked
to be contacted so that the I could pay them what I owe. I've heard nothing
back. I am NOT trying to skirt the rules. I have done everything that I can to
resolve the issue. At some point BrickLink has to take responsibility for their
bugs and actually respond to help requests.

From what I can tell this is a bug. I've seen more times than I am happy
about and am having a hard time getting it resolved.

For me it has happened when a buyer is local and selects local pick-up. I invoice
them, they pay, they pick up, but the system never registers the payment, their
order then sits permanently at packed with payment as none. Then the next order
they place gets added onto their last 'open order' as a new batch. I
send them an invoice and there is no pay button. My inventory/order system then
tries to subtract their previous order + their new order from my inventory screwing
up my numbers. It's become a whole annoying thing. I currently have 22 orders
sitting as filed that are payment-none and status-packed.

I've been patiently waiting for the help desk to look into the ticket that
I filed, but have it on my to-do list to send them a second request for help
at the end of the month. It isn't currently happening, but my local buyers
have been busy recently and haven't been placing as many orders.

The only solution we have been able to work out is for me to email my buyer my
direct paypal link and take payment that way, then we can at least move forward
with getting their parts to them.

Can you image if UPS had this kind of transition? They’d be out of business.

If DeJoy has his way, that is exactly what will happen. Then his corporate buddies
can sweep in and pick up overblown federal contracts taking dollars out of the
general population and putting it into the pockets of shareholders; all the while
blaming the federal government for mismanagement of federal dollars, continuing
to reduce the middle class, raise prices, blame the population for their lack
of drive and work ethic, while rigging the system so only the 1% can succeed;
while the cult of personality waves the flag, lies with his hand on the good
book and distracts the gullible by spouting Putin's talking points and prosthelytizing
about freedumbs.

We are having so much fun in Atlanta with our postal system! (NOT.)

Please understand that I love the United States Postal System. I think it is
an amazing organization that has done an outstanding job serving the people of
our country since its founding. This post is not meant to denigrate the hardworking
individuals who are trying to do their jobs, but are caught up in a political
nightmare not of their own making.

In case you've been caught up with other stories around the world, here is
the latest on my region's woes and the USPS system in general:

I was completely onboard with your suggestion until you mentioned getting rid
of the technic, plate category. I don't agree with your last 3 suggestions,
but I think all the other suggestions are great.

Technic is the 1 category where I can overlook a part 3 or 4 times before giving
up and going to another resource to id it. I've tried to come up with ways
to mentally break down the group, but the sheer number of items crammed together
and then cluttered up with decorated parts just makes it a jumbled confusion.

Just my 2 cents.

Ginny

  Remove Category "Technic, Plate"
and merge whole category into "Plate, Modified" with 13 parts.

Remove Category "Technic, Link".
Re-name and -categorize;
30397, 2739, 2739b, 2739a, 32293 to "Technic, Ball Joint",
3711, 3249, 69900, bb0076, 3873, 69910, 57518 to "Technc, Gear",
14149, 24375 to "Technic, Pin",
64451, 4586, 6247, 2637 to "Liftarm".

Category "Plate, Modified" could move out the angular extension parts
to "Wedge, Plate, Decorated" or to "Plate, Modified, Decorated".

  This set's Amazon description states:

The mech’s glow-in-the-dark arc reactor in its chest glows as kids twist, turn
and adjust the mech’s position to fire stud shooters

Awesome! Never even occurred to me to read LEGO's description of the set.
Thanks!

Found a few stickered parts from this set:

Set No: 76190 Name: Iron Man: Iron Monger Mayhem
*
76190-1 (Inv) Iron Man: Iron Monger Mayhem
468 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2021
Sets: Super Heroes: The Infinity Saga

but of the stickered parts cataloged. So I'd like to add one. The problem
is, I'm not much of a comic person and I have no clue what it's called.
So, you comic gurus out there, what is this thing in the middle of the mech's
chest?

Somehow I don't think catalog admin is going to accept "Tile, Round
3 x 3 with Round Domahickey that I think is the Power Pack"
.

So either the kid who this collection came from is unusually strong or LEGO is
having some serious quality control issues. I've found more broken parts
in this lot than I've ever seen before. I've got plates and bricks from
30+ years ago that have held up better than these parts from under 7 years ago.

Anyone else seeing an increase in damaged parts from newer bulk used purchases?
