| I consider myself a Lego unboxing robot, of the organic kind, near the end of
one long chain in the Lego distribution network.
Therefore, it is unusual when I find myself having a good time parting out a
set. Don't get me wrong, I like parting out sets, but it generally is a job.
The series 26 minifigures part out was fun and felt nothing like work. So many
exciting parts too!

If you've parted these out, what were some of your favorites?
I would especially like to hear from axaday since they did a lot of the inventory
submissions on these (thank you axaday!)

this is a first for me and I would like to find out how others handled this situation.

| Recently a change was made to the UI that only impacts sellers who like to add
a little color to their listings.
When the UI updates, it escapes any valid html color to the exact same rgb equivalent
for some unknown reason, taking 10 of the already limited 255 characters.
Please go back to not altering perfectly valid html code.

at least show something pleasant or humorous to look at. Here are my entries.

| I do not have access anymore to the API when doing a POST, I can do a GET, PUT,
or DELETE just fine. But when I POST, I get a 403 Forbidden error.
Did anyone run into this after the hack? What was your solution?
I've put a help desk ticket in but I guess Bricklink thinks this is not an
access issue as it has not even been assigned an agent.

| Has anyone else been able to do mass updates with Brickstore that contains html
formatting?
I can not seem to get it to work, it pastes fine, it updates fine but it does
not render properly.
If I do the same syntax manually, it works fine, just not via mass update.

| I have a couple of questions for those using BrickStore.
On both my Linux (2023.5.1) and Windows (2022.4.2) machines, the database says
it was generated 8 days ago, regardless of when it was generated.
Also, I can not seem to get the COLMAR2 series to show up.
Are you experiencing this issue? If others are, I can enter a bug report in Github.
If not, I'm probably going to turn off the computer and go enjoy some sunshine.

| I discovered https://www.bricklink.com/v2/article_view.page?id=1038 due to the
very public drama going on with Mike's store, is there an index to other
seller stories somewhere?
Did these type of stories stop? If so, why and when.
This is fun content to go back, read, and learn. I want to read them all now
and don't want to have to change the id parameter manually to find them.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

| Just looking for some other ideas to test.
When I am logged in I can not see a thread in the Lego Products sub-forum, when
I am logged out I see it fine.
I do not have that sub forum muted/hidden. Only ones hidden are the LANG subs.
I tried clearing all my Bricklink and Lego cookies. No luck.
Same on all my browsers desktop (Windows 7 enterprise) and mobile (Android 7.1.1):
FireFox (115.2esr), Brave (1.47.168), and Brave Mobile (1.19.86).
What else can I try?

| I want to make my shipping less busy looking. I am trying to condense 8 methods
into 3 or 4.
I want to offer free shipping, ground shipping, custom (customer can request
overnight shipping, two day shipping, etc.), and request a quote.
Try as I may this morning I have not been able to figure out how to do this.
I want at the final step of the checkout to show at least two options.
1. The instant checkout option and price.
2. The option to request custom handling.
Is it possible or am I just fouling up my shipping methods?

Author: | macebobo | Posted: | Sep 2, 2023 17:49 | Subject: | What do you do to ensure accuracy? | Viewed: | 161 times | Topic: | Selling | |
| I would like to find out what others do to ensure order accuracy.
I will start.
My fulfillment software will show me the first image (the last text line above
the blue line is the important info in this image)
Other: 3, 1: 8, 2: 8, 3: 2, 4: 1
What this means is I have 3 lots with 5 or more qty, 8 lots with 1 qty, 8 lots
with 2 qty, 2 lots with 3 qty, 1 lot with 4 qty.
I use a couple different types of sorting trays 2 of
with 4 compartments (shown in second picture) and 7
with 13 compartments.
I use both types of trays in which I put one lot in each compartment, unless
they are qty 1 to 4. For those quantities, I use one compartment on the trans-clear
tray. Multiple lots in each quadrant, 1 for ones, 1 for twos, 1 for threes, and
the last one for fours.
Next, when I am done pulling the order, I count all the compartments and compare
my count to what I am supposed to have. This has saved my bacon more than once,
so I try to use it on every order, even simple ones.
I hope that is clear. Now, I am curious what others do to keep accuracy high
since it is not fun to have to ship a second package to our customers.
