Then why is https://store.bricklink.com/TheToyHoarders#/terms still open despite
being closed and directing people to ebay and marketplace?
And, yes, I have reported the store and nothing is done about it.

BTW, Cory, you know how to run a contest. Thank you!
Russell should recommend that TLG hire you for customer engagement!

| ENFIELD, Conn. - April 1, 2024 - Announcing BrickLink Dating™
After the failure of its Trionicles line, the Lego Group (TLG) decided to throw
its hat into the ring of online dating. "And where better than BrickLink,
our site for new and used Lego™ parts?" asked Susan Williams, head of TLG's
Consumer Services division since 1978. "Prospective dating partners will
have the opportunity to list themselves as 'New' or 'Used'",
corresponding to BrickLink's most general category. Ms. Williams did add,
however, that some of the best-known features of BrickLink will be missing from
BrickLink Dating™. "We have no plans at the moment to implement any sort
of color scheme."
|
They do, however, plan to implement involuntary merging.

Same... even much more, we want to make people be able to build what they wish.
Which is why since the first day, we've no extra fee, no limit, no minimum
or selling by bulk qty or super lot, accepting like 15 currencies, all payment
methods that work, and all shipping methods you can wish.
But as of right now I've concerns about a Security I don't wish, and
even if I click "I don't wish" they may implement / fail it
BrickLink silent, unplanned, uncommunicated, capricious and arbitrary changes
freighten me 100000x more than all the all-times hackers united.

They do testing:
1) Deploy silently at any time in production.
2) Read the forum.
It works.

Personally, I am a bit tired of being the canary in the coal mine.
But I keep coming back to life and a little of me dies, metaphorically. Ironically,
I can't seem to get enough. Maybe I'm a masochist.
But really, I just want to sell Lego to people.

It is a shame we have to rely on 3rd party tools just to make Bricklink workable.
This is going to make my month end and quarter end process a major pain in the
butt.
Hey Bricklink Admin, fix yo system or let Robert know the new authentication
scheme.

It's not due to to user agent.

How do you know this? Not saying you're wrong, but what is your proof?

Just try to log in with a different browser; it'll work.

See comment in bold above.
BrickStore is not a browser.

BrickStore has its own login for API access then it could be that that setting

The entire message I am getting "Invalid Device Information!"
I know BL is using AWS, so I wonder if they turned on a new security "feature"
and this is the unintended consequence?
It might be filtering by user agent and only allowing common ones through.
Has anyone wiresharked BrickStore to see which user agent is being sent?
OR maybe, Lego said "No more BrickStore for you" soup Nazi style.
You can manually get most of the information this is blocked from automatic download:
(Download the first 3 as xml and import into BrickStore)
Inventory: https://www.bricklink.com/invExcel.asp
Orders Received: https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=received
Orders Placed: https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=placed
Wanted list: go to the desired WL and click download and import into BrickStore.
I do not know how BrickStore downloads carts as they seems to be some sort of
coded file (every other number is a 3 however, weird) when exported.
Hope this helps someone.
