The inventory says the minifigs should have type C blocked open stud heads but
3 of them have type B hollow stud heads.

which is supposedly the only one with a type

I've seen some inventories with a note to say that both stud types have been
found in a particular set or minifigure.

Substitutions, as well as incomplete minifigs, are a pet peeve, and I don't
want to list them if they break the rules. Should I request that the alternate
head be noted in the inventory or should the catalog be updated so that the type
B head is associated with both minifigs?

The minifigures in that set’s production timeline stretched through TLG period
of mold changeover.

It's common here that listings don’t denote this. At some point it should
be addressed, but it's a tough one to confirm definitively.

I list such minifigs with the description "latter production, hollow stud mold
type head"

Some collectors don't care to know, a good percentage do though.

Using this metric makes sense, it's logical.

Paradoxically, the same procedure makes the new listing that includes the attached
trash can lid, illogical. Unless the character is known to walk around with the
lid on his head (as garb) without the trash can itself? I'm unfamiliar with
the character, maybe he does?

Sure, who knows. Has anyone really witnessed Pollock working in his studio? I
mean, consider his work.... it could well have been his dog~paint~canvas, for

And yes, I really am an art lover but I never saw anything else than dripping
and throwing paint on a canvas by Jackson Pollock but maybe I missed something
when I quit looking at the documentary about him.

Not just him, but other overly-hyped artist during in and around that period,
imho.

originally?

Just put in 2 requests to change names of items using -

Catalogue Add/Change Page

When you enter the item code (ie 30222 for popsicle)

there is no notification or display showing the item you have entered

It would be therefore possible to input the item incorrectly (to another that
exists)
and modify it.

Would it not be prudent to show the details of the item you are changing, before
you change it - so as to stop possible errors

to submit, for a once-over prior to the Submit Request tab?

If that's your suggestion, I'm on-board. As it stands now, I'll go
back through my contributions just after submitting, via the
My Activity Overview page. If I find that I've done it wrong or that
it could be better, I delete the submission to resubmit. So an edit page prior
to the Submit Request tab might be handy.

However, when adding or changing pics, you do kinda have such an opportunity
in the uploading of the pic-file step.

Not quite sure what you mean, but if you go on that page and enter an item number,
you have no idea what it is? There is no description showing. So if you wanted
to change the title of the item, you would either have to paste and edit beforehand,
or have a good memory

I understood the question as being in the [Shop] at the [Wanted List] tab, having
just added parts from the wanted list into the shopping cart. At that point you
see the message 'Lot successfully added to shopping cart.' and the amount
in your cart, but you can't remove the items from your cart.

Adding a negative amount would be a nice trick if that were allowed.
Having a link to that lot in your cart would be helpful.
Having a button to delete the lot from your cart would be a solution.
Having an edit control to change the lot at that point would be ideal, if not
cluttering the interface.

Yes. Simplest would be a “delete from cart” button next to the “x in cart” text.
Negative values are always tricky.

part or find the same items cheaper/newer way down the list (especially if the

Even if I could just "zero" a quantity in my cart it would help speed things
up a bit. Although speed really doesn;t seem to matter much to BL, does it?

I don’t know about the others on that top users’ list, but I have spent
a lot more time here in the forum since my retirement. I need purpose, and helping
out where I can while socializing, gives me a sense of that.

My time here is still mostly reading, though. So I'm surprised to hear/see
that I'm #8 currently.

Since the lockdowns I can’t do my usual hikes/walks, not without dealing with
the occasional fellow hiker acting as mask police, bummer. I've also enjoyed
in my retirement, helping friends and neighbors with their projects, which has
been hard to do during the lockdowns. I do find myself getting involved more
often here, lately.

I'm not, and have never been on any other forum or social media platform
of any type, so this has been it for me, my therapy or at least therapeutic in
a way.

I nonetheless could "see someone" I guess...

when a post is added to the thread. I imagine that new members may expect this

to her original message. I expect it may put off some people from using the site
as we all need some help when we start here.

I'm aware that some people are pointing out various issues with the site
as it is, so perhaps this could be implemented whenever the site is next updated.

As to feedback on the specific changes listed, they look good to me. I'm
sure you're aware there's much more that can be done, though. More items
to consider and not just within parts. But a good start!

Your head seems to show a true brown color for that part. I'm not convinced
that this is the case for the parts were discussing, but I would be very interested

are very similar. So here are a few details, I'd like to change/discuss:

1) I belive that the first two pictures shown for part 3626bpb0025 are in fact
the red version, i.e. wrong. Please remove them. The third image has a darker
pattern and may be the correct one, but it's very small and with black background
which may make comparison with the other part harder (that part is photographed
on a white background).

2) I'll upload new images for both parts with consistent lighting, and I'll
upload a comparison image as well. In fact, I stronly urge you to delete all
previous images -- they're either wrong, tiny or with bad lighting.

3) I'll suggest a change of the title for 3626bpb0025 (Brown pattern) to
change the color of the pattern to "Dark Red". IMHO, it's clearly not brown,
but a darker shade of red. If this is not accepted, please consider writing a
note on the parts about the shades of red instead.

4) I'll add a "Same Items with Different Pattern Style" relationship between
the two parts.

Hopefully this will make the difference between these two parts clearer, because
I don't think it is now.

Paradisa Pink isn’t recognized as a distinct colour. So the part is Pink in
the inventory. But the description is more precise and tells us it’s not common
Pink but Paradisa Pink.

On the one hand, the colours aren’t in any recognizable order (not even the old
16-colour RGB palette), so the number is the only indication it’s a level.

On the other hand: who cares about the level? It’s directly linked to the FB
so that’s all that needs to be shown.
(I get the “ooh, shiny, I went up a level!” but, well….)

Yes, the feedback viewed with the brick next to it, will give the brick's
color it's respective gravitas.

Need something both achievable and near impossible. Maybe a choose your own colour
brick from after violet.

But a special symbol or something if someone made it
