Just in case anyone else needs it, the ignore user feature can be turned on at

Enter the username and just a couple of clicks and it all goes away forever.

Thanks! Didn't know that feature exists

Hi!

As you're a seller, you can use "Stockrooms" here on bricklink. By default
there is only one Stockroom, but you can enable 3 Stockrooms in the settings
(A, B and C). You could use one of them for your personal collection for example
- that would be the easiest solution without any additional program or website.

Kind regards,
Michael

Any recommendations for such program to keep track of inventory is appreciated.

Thank you

May I suggest to also add gram (beside ounce) to your shipping table for international
shipment. Makes it easier if you don't need to use google to get an overview
of the weights

  Hi everyone,

I found a torso with a Lego logo print on it's back - it's not on bricklink.
How should I add this torso? Is it an alternate? Or is it already in the catalog
and I can't find it?

It's this one (with Lego logo on the back):

Part No: 973p63c01 Name: Torso Space Robot Pattern (Spyrius) / Black Arms / Red Hands
*
973p63c01 (Inv) Torso Space Robot Pattern (Spyrius) / Black Arms / Red Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.

Indeed, it seems to be a keychain figure, thanks both of you!

I was able to remove the head, so I didn't check further, but the legs are
stuck to the torso and if you look "closely" you can see a hole at the top of
the head and also at the top of the torso's neck (where the keychain was).

Thanks!

The pieces were submitted by Hygrotus and I and we both watch all the incoming
things in the catalog and neither of us noticed it. And then they sat there
for a couple of months and then two people noticed a couple hours apart.

Hehe

I was looking for the torso with goatleg, found the one from cty1022, then I
looked further for some legs (970c00pb0718) and noticed that the minifigure (njo355)
with those legs has the same torso, although BL says that the previous one only
appears for one minifigure (cty1022).

But at least they are both priced nearly the same, so merging them shouldn't
be an issue I guess

Wow, who thought that this is a good idea and why?

By the way - many sets came with labeled plastic bags (like "1", "2", "3", etc.)
- let's add them as well and move all parts that are in it to the bag item
instead of the set. But don't forget that there are even smaller bags in
the big bags, those need to be listed as well (inside the big bag, containing
the correct parts of course)!

Sorry, this is just ...

Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 31044 Name: Park Animals
*
31044-1 (Inv) Park Animals
202 Parts, 2016
Sets: Creator: Model: Creature

* Add 3 Part 4085b Black Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Clip Vertical - Type 2 (thin U clip) (Alternate) (match ID 662644)

Comments from Submitter:
Found a mix of both types in the set. Instead of the 6x 4085d, I had 3x 4085d and 3x 4085b in a newly opened set.

Hi everyone,

how can I check if the stickered counterparts for a set are already submitted,
but pending?

I have the stickered parts for this set here on my desk:

Set No: 75933 Name: T. rex Transport
*
75933-1 (Inv) T. rex Transport
589 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2018
Sets: Jurassic World

Should I add them to the catalog or are they already submitted but approval is
pending? Thanks!

Hi everyone,

can anyone tell me what color the 1 x 1 round plate on the lightsaber of the
Light-Up Darth Vader has?

Minifig No: sw0117 Name: Darth Vader - Trans-Red Light-Up Lightsaber
*
sw0117 Darth Vader - Trans-Red Light-Up Lightsaber
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6
Looks like flat silver to me - or light bluish gray? Maybe this information can
be added to the already existing note about the 1 x 1 round plate?

Thanks!

The vast majority of the things called "pattern" in the BL catalog really aren't.
I think the word "pattern" needs to be changed to "print" since that's what
it really is.

David

I agree. Either print or sticker. Otherwise we would have to rename category
"Stickers" to "Patterns" as well

Wow, I have been on Bricklink for about eight years and I have only just now
found a better way of searching for 'decorated' parts using the 'pattern'
keyword! Up to now, I have been using 'with' keyword to search for decorated
parts!

( a bit embarrassing really! )

As of now, the keyword "pattern" seems to look for parts of the name of a part,
while "decorated" is the category itself (but as nearly every decorated part
has the "pattern" keyword in it, both searches should be the same).
Changing the category "Decorated" to "Pattern" may look strange, as already stated
by some other users. Changing it to "Patterned" wouldn't result in any benefit
for searching, because it is again another word than the word used in the names
of parts ("pattern").
I don't know what would be best. I don't mind leaving category names
with "Decorated" ... it least I wouldn't have to re-print my labels for the
boxes where I store the different bricklink categories

I only wanted to see new catalog categories for parts. Not so much movements
of parts between categories.

I've found this one and can live with it (although it also includes categories
for sets, etc. - but that's fine ):

Hi everyone!

I've recently sorted my parts by bricklink catalog category instead of colors
and already finished it.

I saw that some categories are new now - seems like at least 4 new categories
have been created from the old "(Other)" category:
* Accessory, Human Tool
* Chain
* Energy Effect
* Ring

Any other new categories than the 4 mentioned?

Instead of checking the list of categories every day (https://www.bricklink.com/catalogTree.asp?itemType=P&itemBrand=1000),
is there some way to find out which categories are new (chronologically sorted)?

Thanks!

That would be a very nice feature (to exclude super lots) - or remove them in
average price calculation at all.

In Suggestions, Shintaku writes:
  There are people putting a very rare and expensive part at a very low price in
a super-lot in order to attract people.

That is imho unfair, but permitted.
This also spoils the average price in a terrible way. There should be a simple
option in which you can EXCLUDE super-lots as much as you can exclude incomplete
sets.

The System is already able to find out if a lot is part of a super lot, so that
should be super-easy to implement, and would really help a lot.

Thanks.
