Can I make two different invoices, one for domestic and one for international?

I see domestic buyers sometimes pay via PayPal as it's in our invoice. But
we force them (as in no other option) to use IBAN as it's free and common
in The Netherlands. PayPal always has additional costs and on small orders it
makes you might even lose money on it.

Regards,

Dennis

has arrived

On the top "My BL" then under "Purchases" "Orders".

There you can click on the order you want to check.

and reading the forum (yes, I see you do).

I prepped tonight's dinner (nasi goreng with chicken satays), made a batch
of chicken curry salad (which sounds way healthier than it is - "chicken
curry spread" would probably be a better term), now doing some home cleaning.
I was hoping to take a brisk walk outside, but it looks like there is still too
much ice on the sidewalks, and I can't risk toppling over again after two
back surgeries (if that wouldn't have killed me, my wife would have finished
the job).

Niek.

Err... building with the plastic bricks? Or doesn't that count haha..

a reason for a ban?

There is no ban (yet), the store is closed because of "Preventive Action".

If I were to go out on the street and start claiming I broke into my neighbor's
house, you bet the police would be interested to have a chat with me. I won't
get sentenced right away (in this case, banned from BL), but they sure would
want to get to the bottom of this while they invite me to have a little stay
at the police station (preventive action).

So yes, if someone claims they bought the store from a previous owner, this would
(in my eyes) very much warrant a temporary store closure until this is sorted
out.

Niek.

Ban was maybe the wrong word here yes, sorry!

You purchased a BrickLink store from another user and this is against the Terms
of Service. Under Eligibility (No. 1):

You are limited to one (1) account on this Site unless we have granted you
permission to have additional accounts, such permission being in our sole discretion.
You may access the Site with your account credentials. You may not transfer
or sell your account or account credentials to another party
.

When Customer Service responds to you, they will give you the option to open
a new account and will open the old (transferred) account long enough for you
to download the inventory.

There never was a transfer. He just let us believe he sold it to another person.

Honestly, you say you took over the store, but let's face the fact: you are
the same as the previous owner.

Look at the history of this account in the forum, all posts are written the same
way. All store locations were in the province of Groningen and the previous owner
was 41 years, just like you are (maybe now you are 42?).

So you changed your name, told everyone you are a new owner (while just being
the previous too).. and look where it brought you, a ban.

But, does that mean this ban actually is wrong? As there really hasn't been
a selling of this store from person A to person B.
Person A never sold it, but only let us believe it. Is that a reason for a ban?
I don't know, it's not a great move. Up to the admins I guess.

Ye, straight to the point eh.

  Hi,

Now got two messages from buyers in a few days when I will send their the invoice
of the order? I have it automated by Bricklink, but obviously it doesn't
send them out, despite saying it did?

I noticed that I have plenty unpaid orders open, I start guessing why now. Anyone
else having same problems or know where the problem could be?

Though, a friend of mine who ordered today, did receive his invoice. So I'm
getting a bit confused.

Dennis

If I try myself with a dummy account it does work as it should..

Do all your shipping options have instant checkout?
I only see it noted at 1 option, outside NL looks only manual.
And with the default setting you should get a copy of the instant invoice, if
you did not get those either, check your IC settings.

Only NL is instant check out yes, but problem seems to be on the NL side, but
not all people..

I do get the copy of the invoices myself in the inbox..

It's quite annoying, never had problems, now looking like a fool who doesn't
send invoices. Got again couple of messages..

It's possible, see my post:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1389918

Otherwise, setting up Auto Checkout and Instant Payment helps a lot...

I have auto checkout for domestic buyers, but with Bank Transfer you still need
the invoice..

In another thread someone brought this to my attention:

Offsite Payment - No longer available for new users as of June 8, 2017.
To cover various payment options, BrickLink also provides Offsite Payment Methods.
Please note that BrickLink cannot provide any transaction related support for
the Offsite Payment Methods listed below. All responsibility for Offsite Payments
is solely upon buyer and seller.

I'm lost for words. Does Bricklink really want to kill the European market
or something? In my real life I don't even know anyone with PayPal (or a
Credit card). In the NL €20,000,000,000 is spent in webshops per year, and almost
all of these transactions are bank transfers. Almost no-one that I know will
consider PayPal, certainly not since it costs money while bank tranfers are free.

IBAN has really become simple in use; Transactions are free, fast, and bank account
numbers have been standardised to IBAN recently. Interfaces for bank transfers
(such as iDeal in the NL) are thriving more than ever and are the undisputed
standard.

And now Bricklink is moving in the opposite direction.

They will lose the Dutch market, which is the 4th largest country on the platform
in terms of store count. Bricklink always seemed a bit America First but this
decision right here really changes my opinion of Bricklink. I personally will
survive since it doesn't affect existing stores and I will move more of my
business over to BO which does support bank transfers. But they will certainly
scare away lots of potential customers here, and for new sellers this is crazy
unfair. This is either a huge mistake or Bricklink just isn't interested
in the European market..

Please support my suggestion to re-enable IBAN/Bank transfer, also if you don't
use it. For an accessable and thriving site that benefits all of us, and a site
that is fair to everyone.. it's really in all of our interest if you want
Bricklink to be #1..

IBAN indeed should be allowed for everyone. It's really THE thing out here
and in some other countries. It would be a huge mistake to kill it and go PayPal
(or something similar) only.
