Thanks for the help but still gives me the same "403 Forbidden" code
and is not asking me if I want to translate to Danish.

Happened to me too and sending Drive Thru messages. Just go to the address bar

invoices? GL

Any chance you'll touch on resellers getting ahold of officially produced/licensed
minifigs in bulk from the same people that source these monochrome "prototypes"?

That is why I was asking if anyone was aware of any specific news articles or
official statements from Lego. I am well aware the forum tends to descend into
mindless back and forth over words and forgets about the original post/question

  They aren't prototypes.

I think it is important what language you use, especially if you are writing
an article about them. Calling them prototypes gives them a legitimacy that they
were created by LEGO for a reason, when the reality is that they are created
essentially on demand to sell to collectors as a profit making exercise and nothing
to do with testing or prototyping.

Is there anywhere I can find an official statement from Lego in regards to this
issue? I am currently working on a documentary for my social media platform highlighting
some of theft and criminal activity involved around these figures and some of
the questionable dealings of 'resellers' and 'flippers' of Lego.
Any links to articles or information would be appreciated.

Thank you

These are getting so old. What's the point of even reporting these? Seems
there is never any action taken.

yah I can see the perspective of bad experiences with feedback like that. it
seems like an error and he just wants it resolved and is trying to prevent the

the guy bought 12 parts and got 10, reached out, and what they said is fair -
they gave you a chance to fix the issue, and if not, they would leave a neutral/negative

Neutral would be reasonable, but a negative would be too far - instead of coming
to the forums, why not try to resolve with the customer first?

After a unique conversation with Bricklink staff and for my safety the order
has been canceled

In Problem Order, bigasbricks writes:
This buyer has been an issue on all 3 orders they have placed with us, they forgot
to mention they are a repeat haggler after they commit to purchase an order.
If we are such a bad seller why would they order 3 times? hmmmmm

Order had been in NPB status as we did not hear from the buyer. Only after the
case was opened for NPB did the customer go on this warpath.

They did not read the description of the listing and have submitted and edited
response via the forum . We have asked this customer to only communicate via
the Bricklink message system so all messages are documented for buyer and seller
safety. They seem compelled to only want to communicate through private email
which is a red flag as a seller. We snet them all information in regards to the
part per the item listing.

They ordered the exact same part on October 11th and tried to AFTER placing the
order haggle for a lower price AND "free shipping", this also went to
NPB status. They were not satisfied with this order even though we highlighted
they were getting their order for $131 cheaper than the next vendor. Bricklink
is not a flea market and this kind of haggling after an order has been placed
is not acceptable on this platform.

Now they have ordered again and this issue has come forward.

Since this customers return to the platform they have only left negative feedbacks
for sellers. We spoke with the last seller they left a negative for and they
communicated similar behaviors.

We go above and beyond to communicate clearly and upfront about items and parts
which is why we put an extensive description clearly describing any potential
issues.
IMO this order should be canceled by Bricklink as this buyer is questionable
in their behavior and is a financial liability to all sellers. Though we have
extensively documented everything this buyer will leave a Negative/Neutral and
is simply trying to get things cheaper and more than likely open some sort of
case via PayPal.

This post will also be forwarded to Bricklink as this order should be cancelled
with no penalty to buyer or seller.

Regards

Here was the description of the items:

Small imperfections will be present on black printing on neck where head attaches.
This is from being assembled from prior Lego Store employees and being disassembled
to be listed on BL. Priced accordingly and will be documented

So I asked this:

I don't know if you got my message, but I wanted to confirm that the torso
prints are unaffected by any damage.

His response:

We don't receive outside email as that is a prohibited activity. We only
communicate through Bricklink. Did you read the item description for this part?

Me:

Yes I did which is why I'm asking for confirmation that there is no damage
to the torsos.

Him:

What further description do you need the item listing appears to be very straightforward.
They were assembled once by Lego store and in a sealed 3 pack. When a minifig
is assembled the head piece is put on the torso assembly, that means when the
head piece is removed small imperfections may be on the neck part, for example
the black neck printing from Lego factory may have marks where the head was slide
on and off once.

I listed this very clearly in the item description to cover myself from potential
scammers on a high dollar item. Regardless of who purchases these a full video
will be taken as documentation for my safety.

If this explanation is still not good enough you can submit a cancel request
as I had multiple people inquire about this before you committed to this order.

Me:

I don't know why you keep avoiding answering the simple question: Is there
any damage to the torso print?

Him:

I responded very accurately to your message in regards to this order. Any issues
are noted in the item description as well as the message I gave you today.

If you do not wish to purchases the order you committed to you can select NPX
via the order details screen and we can sell to someone else no worries

Thank you

If you missed the item description of condition I have copied it below for you
to review again:

"Small imperfections will be present on black printing on neck where head
attaches. This is from being assembled from prior Lego Store employees and being
disassembled to be listed on BL. Priced accordingly and will be documented "

Me:

You keep refusing to answer the question. You mention possible damage to the
neck print which really no one cares about. You said it's used so I just
want a simple yes or no as to whether there is any damage to the torso prints.
I do not understand why you keep refusing to answer that question.

Him:

Everything is very clearly noted several times. There is no area where anything
is stated as "used". Our item is priced accordingly by qty and condition,
and by volume is nearly $1 dollar cheaper than the next vendor.

You are taking up valuable time and resources. Please review all correspondence
from this order and make your informed decision on if you wish to purchase.

If you want to get out of the order please submit a cancellation request via
NPX and we can move on.

Thank you

***If this information is still not good enough for you there is always the Bricklink
help desk you can contact***

Me:

You mentioned it was handled by store staff, yet there is nothing in your description
about the torso print. It is a fair question for a buyer to ask if there is any
damage to the torso print. All you have to say is yes or no. I don't know
why you insist on refusing to answer a simple and common question.

They are stoplisted. Each sale has seen an escalation of them trying to get more

was not a wise choice.

Due to the extended description he gave, would he miss or hide some other damages?

Check the feedbacks, if you don't see any about quality/description problems,

Even after providing our sales tax exemption certification and pointing BrickLink
Support to the state laws that require vendors to ACCURATELY collect and remit
sales tax, they still won't do it.

As others have pointed out, Bricklink technically does not have to accept resale
certificates; they are breaking any laws.

I will unfortunately have to do a credit card chargeback, which BrickLink support
will probably push onto the seller (which is not what I want at all).

That statement there is going to get a lot of sellers to block you quick (myself
included). Perhaps Bricklink isn't the place to buy if you're that serious
about not being charged tax.

Myself as well.
