If someone has 1000 fake minifigs to sell, this isn't going to have an effect.
I don't think anyone is buying 1000 from them. Lots of people are selling
1. So they'd just need to keep adding every day or so. It would help them
go under the radar more, but it wouldn't stop people from selling fakes.

Procedural change because vintage and modern torsos were split.

I have made some pictures of spyrius chief with camera with and without part
3069bpx28 attaced. Please, compare these pictures with frontal box image.

Unnecessary. It is definitely shown in a side picture.
But I'm not sure whether usage in a box picture is a standard that we use.
A set like this with no instructions is tricky and we have to figure out how
Lego counted the part count.

I have the actual box, but it seems you don't need that.
Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures opening this set. Probably because
it was so simple and straightforward.
I am pretty sure the heads came attached to torsos in this set. I cannot prove
it. All the minifigs have been sold, parted out, or assembled to keep at this
point.

I just want to tack on here that I confirmed with a seller of an open box, sealed

|
I don't think he is saying they are related except for that the two together
make him feel micromanaged.
The rare color part was because of a policy change that was dictated by the parent
company. Bricklink never minded the pieces being sold and then Lego said it
had to stop. Lego doesn't want to encourage employees to steal by leaving
open a lucrative secondary market for it, so they said people can't sell
pieces that weren't intentionally made by the factory.
I believe Bricklink doesn't have any employees devoted to checking people's
terms and handling fees and things, so I'm pretty sure "fee avoidance" involved
a customer or competitor making a complaint about business practices that
they thought were unfair. Apparently Bricklink thought there was enough merit
to take some action on it. It does appear from the forum that things like that
are slow to get sorted out and if it is just a misunderstanding that would be
too bad. But neither case is really because Bricklink is looking for him to
make a mistake and pouncing.

Presumably something as serious as a suspension has to be dealt with by a trained,
paid employee rather than a discussion forum admin. If an unpaid volunteer can
knock out a store's sales for a few weeks, then they better make sure that
it was a correct decision.
|
No one would want someone who runs a store to be able to close competitors down.

This is not how BrickLink should be managed. It should be a place for AFOLs,
and of course for those just looking for a set or spare brick.
Please, please don't make this an environment based on suspicion, assuming
that we're all just looking for the last cent/penny/nickel to add to our
fortune.
|
Are you upset because you are not guilty or because you don't think you should
have been caught? Did they specify a specific behavior or just give you a general
category?
|
I,m upset, because I'm not guilty, but mostly because it just feels control
freaky. There should a solid ground to intervene. Anyway, I'll see what they
say. Maybe the suspension is undeliberate, and the worries are in vain.
|
While your store is closed, I guess I can't see your terms.
Do you set your prices low and then have a high processing or handling fee?
Especially if that fee is a percentage, it is basically making your money where
Bricklink doesn't charge fees instead of where they do and they don't
like that. If it is that, though, I really don't think a Bricklink employee
just happened to notice. It would mean a customer complained.
