There's no catch. You pay less if you purchase postage through one of these
sites than you would if you purchased labels directly from USPS.
Behind the scenes, I believe that shipping platforms like PirateShip, Shippo,
and Chit Chats are purchasing labels in bulk from USPS, for a discount. This
is a common practice in many industries.

It’s even something that can be seen on some sites for example Canada posts business
account even says if you purchase x amount of labels you get this % discount
if you purchase up to x amount you’ll get a higher discount, etc

Do these require or expect you to be shipping a minimal amount every month, or
do they work even if you are only sending packages occasionally?

Pirate Ship works OK, at least for USA to USA shipments. I have not done any
cross border shipments with it.

I can confirm that it works well sending to Canada as well - I know others on
BL use it for international shipments only, so maybe they can weigh in.
For myself I like Pirate Ship a lot - I can send via USPS or UPS at heavily discounted
rates, and their support is great.

| Hi, I would like to have all the LEGO sellers on bricklink who are very close
to a pick a brick store in each country,please
I need to know the name of seller shop and how far they live from a LEGO store
with a pick a brick wall.
