There’s “for sale” and there’s “sold.”  “Sold” is the market price.  “For sale”
is wishes.

Why would a seller align their wishes on other sellers’ wishes and not on the
reality of market is the question.

I think sometimes it makes sense to offer items based upon current average depending
on how scarce it is. Although personally I think trying to sell at current
average across the board is a bad idea.

I'm confused how sellers destroy the sale price with sky high prices? Shouldn't
the sales price reflect what people are willing to pay? If pieces are selling
at sky high prices than that is what they are worth!

Not 6 months sales average, current inventory average. Some people like to use
current inventory prices instead of historical sales figures.

Someone offering for sale ava005 for $98 (which is probably used) doesn't
mean it is worth that.

It would be usefull for sellers, at least for me, to have a Sorting feature on
order received , so that I can sort the items by remarks as this is where I put
the location of the inventory items

It already exists and works well if you pull orders by the detail page. Works
on orders placed and received.

Set No: 6420 Name: Mail Carrier
*
6420-1 (Inv) Mail Carrier
8 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1998
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Post Office
Looking at the listings, some sellers provided their own pictures which show
a polybag in addition to the box. It looks like the polybag could stand on its
own without the box, even having the set number on it. I would think it's
easier to ship/distribute and save on packaging if the box wasn't included.
Why would Lego double-package it like that? Did they used to do this for all
of the small sets?

This has nothing to do with the size of the set. All or at least most town
sets from 1997-2000 had individual printed bags. It is just a special case here
that all parts are included in one bag so it looks like it could also be a polybag
set.

(Pics saved from catawiki some time ago.)

Set No: 4561 Name: Railway Express with Transformer and Speed Regulator
*
4561-1 (Inv) Railway Express with Transformer and Speed Regulator
618 Parts, 9 Minifigures, 1999
Sets: Train: 9V

Had similar bags. Also approaching the Lego time of near bankruptcy. The only
waste I see is the printing though, as the parts would have been in a bag anyway.

  I have 2 suggestions.

1- possible to attach a file to a message.

2- Split the category "Minifigure, Head" in several categorys, such as Dual sided
and stud type.

TGS-Bricks

Should make this 2 suggestions as I agree with #1 but not #2.

Is it possible to get the tracking number displayed on the orders placed screen
(as it is on the orders received screen)?

As a buyer it is annoying to have to send an email to the sender to request the
tracking number, when most times they have entered it into the system.

Regards,
Joe

But this shows on the order detail page under grand total.

I have enjoyed Lego most of my life, but it seems that Lego seems to want to
make me give up on them. I have had to increase shipping rates and add a processing
fee to offset the increasing fees. The addition of the VAT taxes has made it
nearly impossible to make money on Bricklink. It increases the final sale which
in turn, increases the fees that both Bricklink and PayPal take from you. You
have to notice the huge decrease in stores and customers. What is everyone else's
thoughts on this?

Well that is what you get when you price so low, you have to make up for it in
other areas. From the 2 listings I saw in your shop (a minifig and slope) both
were near the cheapest available on bricklink.

I'd say sellers driving the prices into the ground like you have been doing
is far worse than VAT/Fees/Taxes you are complaining about. When you price this
low expect to do a ton of work for only a little profit.
