today (if you've aready posted one) - it'll be allowed and taken in account.

Adding some detail:

It's an Application, not an Utility, nothing regarding the system itself.

So it's not: anti-virus/malware, partition/disk tool, backup system, codecs,
drivers, libraries, etc.

And the reply is in fact, very obvious and simple

Eventually and after 6+ months of preparation and testing, and a Stack Overflow
question of a really tough problem... this PC's migrated (few days ago) on
Windows 10!

Hopefully they'll cut us some slack... because Windows 10 support is supposed
to end in 2025 - that's almost next year

Fun fact, I still have a VM with the exact initial Windows XP I used when I registered
BrickLink

To share this event, I'm making a casual contest on forum: find the answer
and get 50€ of FREE order + its up to 500g FREE shipping, worldwide!

Double question:

* Which was the name of the very first Application (apart Windows itself,
D'oh) installed on my now obsolete PC Windows 7?

* As more than one person may find the name, please also give the date
(day/month if possible, or clearly differentiating) when this application
was installed in 2014...

Contest's opened from now on, until it closes on BrickLink EST date: Saturday,
Dec 23, 2023 00:00 EST

It's a bit more than 2 days only.

Rules (TL;DR):
* replies must be public, posted on Forum only - I may or not reply or comment
the posts
* 1 (ONE) reply per BrickLink member. You can cancel one/some and post a new.
But more than 1 will exclude all your replies
* winner is the one to give the correct application name, and (if few have) the
closest installation date (measure in days to this specific date)
* an application name, even a bit approximative is required: it shouldn't
consist of or contain abbreviation(s)
* the installation date should be CLEARLY differentiating day/month, if not like
03/04, I'll interpret it as day/month (yeah, French style)
* as a proof, I will post the screen copy of the Windows settings showing the
first installed apps in chronological order, showing the dates of course
* the price is an order credit in our shop for 50€ + 500g shipping cost to your
Country
* sorry, but no member's account with 0 (ZERO) Feedback Profile, or double
account (if we can be aware of)
* you will have to use our "Invoice me manually" Shipping Method so I
can credit the amount, and mention the contest in message so I know it's
you
* no heavy things like Baseplates, Duplo, Instructions..., this is supposed to
be casual - and avoid 100+ lots for the same reason
* you're of course welcome to order for more, in this case I'll credit
you the 50€ + 500g shipping price to your Country
* if your order's below the offered price, we will NOT send a payment of
the difference (it's like a Coupon if you wish)
* if your order's above, we may offer you the difference, or have to invoice
you the extra (depending multiple factors)...
* because contest will end before Xmas and we're overloaded, please don't
expect a quick shipping, especially for high number of lots
* tracking may or may not be provided or available depending too many factors
like Country, size, weight...

Note: Admins, Mods and even Pizza fans are (gladly!) accepted (but adults - which
may exclude some Pizza fans, LOL...)
See how I'm happy!

Good luck.

PS: just discovered we've got a Contest Topic, didn't know - thanks Cory
I guess!

Instead of trying to edit the order, go to the Problem Centre page and Submit
a request to remove items from an order. (I believe that either the seller or
buyer can do this. Certainly the seller should know how to do this.) Then, the
other side should get an email requesting that you accept the request. It is
quick and easy. The order confirmation page will show that the order has been
updated and the parts removed.

Thanks, I checked my email and it was there. I wonder why it doesn't put
a message on the messages page.

Could there be an option to show the total weight of the items in the cart? A
recent order had that problem - I was trying to keep it under 100 grams to keep
shipping down but it went over and I had to ask the seller to remove some. Would
this be possible?
Thanks

If you look at the cart through the global cart page then the weight should show.

You may need to check the appropriate box first: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/user/settings/shopping.page

(And sellers may decide not to show weight on their side.)

Oh, thanks. I didn't know that was there.

But after already spending a pretty penny buying the minifgure I dont want to
fork out $40-90 for an anteanna. Is there anyway to get a very rare part like
this without spending so much? Its almost as much as the actual figure.

Part No: 90192 Name: Antenna, Insect

90192 Antenna, Insect
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part {Bright Green}

Be patients and put it on your want list with notification. Not very many sell,
but when they do it isn't for $40-90.

There's one for $35 right now.

Loving the new My Collection feature, I'd like to suggest some new features
for it that would really improve its usefulness:

- Add the ability to sort by quantity
- Allow parts in colors not in the BrickLink catalog to be added. It takes a
while for new colors that come in new sets to be available in the BrickLink catalog,
and there are a variety of parts that I have in my collection that are not in
the catalog but were produced by Lego in other ways. Would be really useful to
be able to add these to my collection just like I can add these to my wanted
lists
- As others have said, an "Add Order Items to My Collection" button is a must
have
- When you download a wanted list then try to upload it to "My Collection", you
get an error saying it's incorrectly formatted. This is due the
encoding="UTF-8"? line that is added to the top of the wanted list xml for some
reason. This should be recognized when uploading to My Collection, because downloading
and uploading the same format from the same site should just work

Thanks!

Voted yes. Another good thing would be to show which items are missing catalog
data (size inventory picture whatever) and to be able to sort by colour.

Change backround colour to 'dark'. It displays a dark blue backround
instead.

At some time, superlots and their items were relegated to an optional box to
be checked in a search for items to buy. Now none of my paired items who belong
together and in a superlot are not showing up. This "feature" box should be
the DEFAULT (to show items in a superlot), with the box used to REMOVE superlots
from a search. The superlot feature is incredibly useful and is now useless.
I am embarrassed to say that I have had some supersets out there for over 10
years and never noticed that they weren't being shown. I also noted that
I had no way to search for this topic in the suggestions, so I apologize if it
has already been discussed.

All I want to do is to sell containers with their lids and doors with their fixtures
and there are no bricklink items that have those 2 combined, in spite of the
fact that they belong to a set

What if you add it to the catalog?

I am planning on opening a store later today/tomorrow. I have some boxes and

I list the condition? There are no rules, etc. that I can find.

Hi,
Would it be possible to change the default condition on My Collection from new
to used? I don't know about others but most (if not all) of my Lego is used.
This might make it faster to add things.

From a sealed set.

My set did not have the extra hairpiece. It might be good to have more feedback.

Not all sets have the same extras. An extra is added if it is in at least 2 sets.

Last year, BrickLink decided to reclassify the Pearl Light Gray color as encompassing
both the lighter Pearl Light Gray (Cool Silver) parts that were made from 2006-2010
and the previous darker shade which was then grouped as "Flat Silver"
(131 Silver).

Since the new update, it has been very difficult to source the correct shade
of parts, which are differentiable and belong to specific sets, especially within
the Bionicle range. I believe it is time for BrickLink to reclassify the darker
shade into a new color so the community can list/purchase parts with greater
accuracy. Propositions for the 131 Silver color name could be something like
below, (or whatever the BrickLink team would find appropriate):

-Flat Pearl
-Medium Pearl Light Gray
-Pearl Medium Gray

BrickLink stated about a year ago: "Future: BrickLink will most likely introduce
a third silver color so that all three LEGO silver colors (131 Silver, 296 Cool
Silver, and 315 Silver Metallic) have a direct correlation to a BrickLink color.
The BrickLink color names may need to be updated to create harmony between them."

Can this be done?

Maybe something like this should be done for pearl gold lol they are really different.

I do know its from the 1960s.

Maybe add this as '240-2'? You can do that from the catalog add page.
