i saw several similar transformer entries in the catalog but could not figure
out which one to list this as. Can someone kindly help to identify it?

LOL. More lack of objectivity on your part. The majority of my posts offer advice
to members who post here about problems, problems and issues that affect BrickLink
and buying and selling here, and opinions for or against suggestions made by
myself and others.

"WE all"? Don't drag others into this. Speak for yourself only. I never said
ALL forum posters are juvenile or uncivil. Some are, but most are not. In fact,
I get along quite well with the vast majority of other posters here. Mainly because
they treat everyone with decency and respect. I stay here because THEY are the
ones I truly enjoy reading and conversing with.

nice people. A great many nice people who absolutely have no problems with me,
nor I with them. You know, most of the people I have occasionally disagreed with
here in the forum don't hold grudges or obsess over every wrong rub they
may imagine I do. We actually agree on more things than we disagree on. But it
seems a few have a problem with the frequency, intensity and perseverance with
which I express my opinions. And that causes them to needlessly make snide sarcastic
digs that provide the initial spark for flames to occur.

Now isn't it rather telling how quickly YOU jumped into this thread and made
it all about me - one poster. That is not making things personal? Seriously dude,
go back and reconsider how you are doing the exact same thing you are complaining

I'm not offended by you are anyone else making personal attacks, I don't
care. You are missing the point. Do it somewhere else. PM's, twitter, facebook
go outside and fight the person for all I care. The forum is just filled with
useless fecal matter lately (including this thread). I don't come on here
to read grown men bickering back and forth like a bunch of 6 year olds.

The suggestions of having a post cap would have cut down on this. I would have
reached my max post count and you wouldn't be reading this or see this
message in the forum front page. But like RobErNat said it wouldn't work
for catalog notes.

I have tried, but the forum becomes incomprehensible since you insert yourself
everywhere. It becomes difficult to read important discussions (most of which
you have hijacked and veered off course). I would love to ignore you, but your
posts are like a metastasized cancer to the forum. Sad, but true.

Personally, I think most people actually enjoy reading such posts, just like
they slow down and rubber-neck at accident scenes. Those contentious threads
always seem to get more hits than your average calmer threads. So why deny what
many people want just because you can't handle it? People love seeing other
people act like idiots and I am happy to oblige them if it makes their day more
enjoyable. Consider it my good deed for the day.

But seriously... If it bothers you that much, exercise that brain and self-control

Also, it is impossible to ignore him. He replies to nearly every thread, and
forces himself into every discussion, typically veering them all off-topic and
devolving into nonsense. To ignore him is basically to make the forum suddenly
incomprehensible just by virtue of him inserting himself everywhere

This member is a forum wrecking ball, destructive to bricklink posting and contributing
to "people acting like idiots" in his very own words. This member ought to be

That is true but if they left it the old way then it would be too easy

Sometimes we search for a part when we do not know the part number. Maybe it
is a torso or maybe it is a decorated brick or something else that is hard to
find when we do not know the official title of the part.

As a basic example:

User is looking for this part:

2550c01 (Inv) Monkey with Yellow Hands and Feet
Parts: Animal, Land

But maybe the users native language is not English so their first thought is
not "Monkey". Maybe the user types into search one or more of the following:
"chimp", "chimpanzee", "gorilla", "orangutan", "ape", "primate", "baboon". The
desired part does not show up

So what if we add some of these "similar" keywords to the catalog entry to assist
with searching. The official item title will remain, but a few more items will
now appear in search results, making it easier to find something.

It does not have to be for every part, maybe just a handful of parts that are
more difficult to describe

Like/Dislike feature for each post. Might be helpful to gauge the community's
true opinion on various issues, as many members prefer not to post or risk alienating
buyers/sellers with their opinions but may silently agree or disagree with certain
things and still wish to anonymously voice their opinion by upvoting or downvoting
