Set 71040: are there 2 versions? I noticed that the front box "type 1" under
the word "16+" has:
- the number of pieces
- the word "building toy"
- has 7 minifig.
The front box type 2 does NOT have the number of pieces and does not have the
word "building toy"; has 5 minifig.
Are there any fakes?
Also on the small side where there are minifigs in the type 2 box there are no
small writings.
Thanks as always for the info.

41999 was bad enough, but that was more quantity, a smaller audience, and worldwide.
Releasing these with no notice and just to Wal-Mart in the US is a dick move.
It's not like they are fringe characters either, a lot of people like these
two, it just doesn't make sense to not release these popular characters worldwide
to take advantage of the movie.
I'm all for scumbag reselling, you have to hate the game not the player.
LEGO shouldn't be enabling this in the first place, just like 41999, just
like the series 18 Policeman. I'm all for taking advantage as a seller, but
I don't agree the opportunity should exist in the first place.
|
I'm hoping they do release worldwide, and not limited. It would be stupid
not to. If they don't release Emmet and Wyldstyle, then there is no point
in wider releases of Sweet Mayhem and Benny.

This roadmap looks excellent. Thank you!
What do you guys think of removing Sticker from the Parts category? (I'd
think Sticker should be a category on its own.)

for people who want to use stickers sheets for MOC's. But I also understand
the amount of effort involved.

Honestly, I don't see the point in changing the actual colors. Sticker sheets
always appear at or close to the top of an inventory when classified as N/A
and we have no arguments between people about defining colors of individual sheets.
I did go in a few years ago and submit a bunch of change requests to add the
search term "Mirrored" to all mirrored sticker sheets. I think we could do that
for any sticker sheet which had an overall pattern (reflective, mirrored, holographic,
etc.). Many of them are already that way.
So instead of classifying by color, would you settle for the color being defined
in the title? I have no problem with the idea of renaming sticker sheets to
reflect the color or surface type in theory, but I wonder if it would be worth
all the effort. How important do you consider it? What would be some benefits?
Are you willing to help by submitting catalog change requests?
BTW, the project of renaming every sticker sheet would never truly be completed
because many older sticker sheets are difficult or impossible to obtain.

I'm excessively pleased to announce the all-new Catalog Roadmap in the Help
Center:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2473
If you lose that link, you can always find the page in the Help Center for the
catalog:

This is an effort to increase transparency about what is happening with the BrickLink
catalog and to make it feel more like a community effort. And, of course, to
get some stuff done.
And no, before anyone asks, I don't know what's going on with the site
roadmap. I thought it was a fantastic feature and I'm quite excited to finally
have something similar for the catalog.
Feedback? Ideas? Comments?

| Hi all.
Today I got panicked, because I didn't find my super lots on searcher, but
I have them for sell.
On forum I got an answer that I must check the field before "Include Super Lots"
and than I can see them.
For me, as a seller this is not logical.
How will buyers know If there is a possibility to buy for example a minifigure
together with weapon If they don't know that this option exsist?
Or that they can buy left and right doors in one package?
For now I have app 1620 lots for sell and app 320 of them are super lots, which
is 20% of my store items and they are not visible to the buyers.
Please put a fix check infornt "Include Super Lots" that all the items are visible
to buyers. If buyers don't want to see super lots, than they can uncheck
the option.
I think this solution will be good for all the sellers.
Thank you for the answer.
Reghards.

One thing that would help with this is to disallow a set that is missing instructions
from being considered complete. I just looked at the 4 cheapest NEW 10179's
and they are missing instructions, stickers, box. One even has stated that a
reproduction instruction book is included and is listed as Complete.
