  Nice!

Yes, it is indeed!

It would be cool if someone with the proper skills could make a worldmap like
that

Someone on the danish LUGNET forum told me to look in the manual for that set!

With a bit of trickery I managed to extract the map in a nice high quality

Now, I just need to move the cross

Cheers,

Ole

I'd also like to add that I do NOT fault the seller here!

It was an experiment, I can handle a 10EUR loss

However the seller offered me a refund. I declined. I then got a coupon

Which is like a thumbs up for me to blow more money on LEGO even if the wife
says noooooo

So, I can very much recommend Brickmatey as a great new, fair and reliable seller

Cheers,

Ole

Warped parts are warped parts. Does it matter where they came from? They don't
meet the quality standards. They should be replaced IMO.

Now, if you stockpiled all your broken reddish brown pieces from the last decade
and tried to make a claim, that's probably pushing it.

I don't MOC/buy or deal with anything the pre 2003/4 pellet disaster in general

This was a test

Also, I think I read somewhere that these parts actually comes from TLG pre-stacked
in threes in the big mosaic sets?

Is that correct?

Heat will straighten them out. I used heat to straighten large plates 6-7 years
ago. I cannot remember the exact setting, but it was something as follows:

Set your oven to a low temp of 200
Place items in oven for a short time period, start with 1 minute.
Pull them out of the oven and test their temperature.
Continue to put into oven until they are warm enough.
Once they get warm enough the bends will fall out.

Over cooking will ruin the clutch on the studs so be careful.

Thanx, but I know of that trick

Have saved a number of baseplates that way. I used two glassplates and an industrial
heatgun. Worked very well after a few mistrials

Not going to bother with 10 bucks of parts this time though ..
