| First, ask your buyer what happened. Secondly, if the address does not match
that of Paypal, you have no seller protection. So if he asks for the money back,
you will have no choice but to pay back the request.

Hi,
you can only exclude buyers with negative feedback score from buying, but not

| Hi,
Are the Sales tax from BL/Paypal fees being charged separately?
Can someone please enlighten me on the additional fees we are seeing on Bricklink/Paypal
payment page,
We are noticing Paypal charges the Sales tax as a Partner Fee and an additional
Fee on the Order about 5% of order (which I am not seeing on the Bricklink account
fees page).
Also I noticed the Charges include Bricklink's Sales tax, is the Sales tax
getting charged twice? if so, do we need to make changes at the store front end
to fix this?
Also is there a difference in the fees when using Paypal vs Stripe?
Thanks for any help!

I would say Legoland Miniland workshop? Because Maersk Blue was the only color
pellet available to represent a lighter shade of blue at the time of this part
was produced.
|
Color pellets for medium blue and light blue were also available at this time.
|
Light Blue was introduced in 2000 and ABS Medium Blue in 1997 (was used for soft
car-wash brushes from '88, but it was not the real ABS Medium Blue).
Color guide considers 50's color variations as an equivalent of modern colors.
So Maersk Blue was the only source of lighter blue pellet before the late 90's.
Unfortuntely I couldn't locate any picture yet, 80's and 90's pictures
of Miniland are scarce, given the part could have been made at any time between
1974 and 2001, and could be hidden in small details.
|
I looked only on this color guide. You've an other?
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp?utm_content=subnav
|
It's the same, but I just got a bit further:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?v=1&pg=1&colorInSet=62&catType=S
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?v=5&pg=1&colorInSet=42&catType=S
The summary page is not precise at all, Dark Turquoise have had a 15 years hiatus,
but summary does not indicate anything more. These two colors were only released
in proper ABS respectively in 1997 and 2000. Take a look at Dark Red, it was
only introduced in 2001, but because of a few H0 cars, it's listed as being
introduced in 1961. Quite a gap, no?
By the way, nice to see you around, Ole!
|
I only said, that light and medium blue were also availableat this time. Not
all the time, but a couple of years. Medium blue since 1993 and light blue since
1997. Your statement, maersk blue would be the only color, is therefore not entirely
correct.

Light Gray Brick 1 x 2 is not part of this set.

Sure is: it can be seen next to the base of the mast on the pictures.
|
But not on the building instruction.
|
That’s because it’s used to prevent the mast from turning freely, and the last
step on the instructions shows the mast in use and rotated, so it can’t be there.
In those times, the instructions were for “real builders”: no parts list for
each step, no outline around the newly added parts, and no at-most-two-parts-per-step
limit. It was about building and sometimes reverse-engineering, not following
baby steps
|
Nevertheless, all parts were always shown.

| I know BL is quite strict about names and using the correct diacritics, umluats,
accents, and so on.
For example, ages ago I asked if "Mesut Özil" could be called "Mesut Özil (Mesut
Ozil)" (and similar requests for the others) to help out English speakers searching
for him but it was denied and only the correct spelling retained.
|
When typing German, if umlaut letters are not available, it is usual to replace
them with the underlying vowel followed by an ⟨e⟩. So, for example, "Schröder"
becomes "Schroeder"
So should be correctly then Oezil not Ozil
|
Yes, that would linguistically correct, but the issue is that people need to
be able to find items in the catalog. If they know it is officially called Özil
they are far more likely to search for Ozil instead of Oezil.
Niek.
|
And for that reason, we did the following:
It ain't pretty, but it works.
|
Maybe I just got the wrong catmin when I asked for the DFB names to be added.
As I mentioned here: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1136187
The one that is really annoying when searching is André Schürrle.
He has both first and second names unsearchable if you cannot type diacritics.
At least for Ozil, you can use Mesut.
And for some reason, it was allowed here:
but not here:
As for Oezil vs Ozil, if you read most UK tabloids it will be Ozil. Broadsheets
will have the umluat.
|
The Ö in Özil is not a German Ö. It's a Turkish Ö. I do not know whether
the description Oe is identical there.
It is also called umlaut and not umluat.

| In Suggestions, infinibrix writes:
| The topic of Neutral feedback and how they are seen as minor negatives comes
up
quite a lot and although I’m sure this idea may not go down well with some....
I think one interesting concept could be to make it so that after 3 months any
feedback
that has not been left automatically turns into a Neutral which would probably
mean about 30% of any sellers feedback will no doubt be made up of Neutrals which
might then make leaving a manual Neutral seem less Negative and more acceptable
for a buyer to submit and for a seller to receive?
A seller could say why should I have to accept receiving Neutrals just because
a buyer couldn’t be bothered to leave feedback but firstly you have to remember
that the same situation will occur for everyone so that shouldn’t matter too
much especially if Neutral is more commonly expected however my theory is that
those customers that are particularly happy with their order be that because
it shipped quickly, well packaged, great parts, no fees, reasonable shipping
cost etc, etc.. are much more likely to WANT to let the seller know its arrived
and they are very happy with everything.
If a customer is left pondering because they are disgruntled about a couple of
things they may then be more inclined to leave Neutral or let it turn to a Neutral
automatically rather than leaving the usual somewhat less than deserved Positive
rating!
My other theory is that you may actually get more people choosing to leave feedback
in the first place because they may not want the seller to receive an automated
Neutral from them but on the other hand this option allows those buyers that
don’t want to leave feedback for a seller who delivered a less than perfect transaction
the option to allow it to just turn to a Neutral.
If you think about it every transaction would be destined to become a Neutral
feedback and only those that specifically choose to give Positive or Negative
will change that eventuality which would probably make more sense?
Therefore two sellers with 100 feedback instead of looking almost identical may
end up looking very different based on their overall performance:-
Seller A:- 70 Positive, 30 Neutral, 0 Negative
Seller B:- 55 Positive, 45 Neutral, 0 Negative
Or at least that’s the theory if you go by the law of averages when it comes
to those that don’t leave any feedback and then add to that all those who had
previously been holding back with giving sellers a Neutral rating!
|
No! No feedback isn't a positive, neutral or a negativ feedback!
