the average price in europe is 20% lower than 6month average

This is not the case when looking at the prices of items on a monthly basis.
Besides, while the prices of the sets are rising, stores will not radically lower
their prices, it is a road to nowhere, with such an assumption, in a year or
two this business will cease to be profitable.

Hi
I am wondering how to increase the number and frequency of sales abroad. From
your perspective, both the buyer and the seller, are there any key elements that
are important when selling overseas?

What I am offering at the moment is for sure:
- prices around -10% vs 6m average
- no fees (paypal, packing etc)
- cheap shipping

What else can encourage shoppers to shop outside of their country of residence
more often?

My store: https://store.bricklink.com/Hidden_Treasure&utm_content=globalnav#/terms

thank you for any suggestions

The 6% extra fees made me leave.

Ok, and what level of fee seems reasonable from the seller perspective?

Zero.

Calculate your average costs between IBAN (zero) and PayPal (4% ?) and increase
all your prices accordingly.
People don't like bad surprises (fees)

Agree. Extra fees just turn buyers away. All I should need to worry about is
price of bricks and shipping.

please take a look now after the changes, what do you think?

Nice design!

Remarks I'd give you:

* Do not use PLN, as nobody knows what 100 PLN is (apart in Poland). Better show
USD, EUR (whatever order) and PLN for your local buyers.

* 6% PayPal is heavy

* Your free shipping is only up to 950g? It's gonna be difficult to order
200+ EUR and stay below 950g. Or something's not clear enough.

* You don't mention in which currency PayPal is accepted. Because if only
PLN, that means an extra 5% on the top of everything, including your fees...

* I don't see information on how you manage lost, damaged or incomplete
orders. Some people like to see this.

Hoping it helps?

  Hello friends,

Do you have any good case practice based on your experience, how did you manage
to increase your sales abroad?

Or maybe what is the most important for you as buyers when looking for offers
in stores outside your country? Of course, apart from the wide range or very
low prices.

Need your help. I am confused about the shipment from the EU to the UK. It's
about VAT invoice - why Bricklink generates pdf and asks for print and include
a copy of the VAT invoice on parcel for customs purposes when BrickOwl doesn't
mention it? Is it enough just to fill in CN22 or should I attach a dedicated
document like the one from Bricklink, which comes to the e-mail box?

Thank you for your help!

One intriguing question - how a buyer could lower the prices of the bricks in
a checkout (no coupons, no tier prices) vs the ones we still have on offer? Is
this some kind of system error?

I mean, buyer bought 1x2 DBG bricks, eg. 70 pieces for price 0,15 USD each, whereas
the other bricks that still left in my store costs 0,20 USD each (no price change
in the meantime, nada). How is that possible then?

any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

It probably is be VAT related. Once you activate a VAT in your store this is
how pricing goes:

Base store prices include 23% VAT. Prices shown to buyers located inside the
European Union include VAT, outside the European Union excluding VAT depending
on the buyer's country.

YES, the thing is that a buyer is from non-EU country and it's a VAT-related
topic. Thank you guys for all hints and final resolution of doubts!

Was it just normal 1x2 bricks? They're showing up as around $0.08 for me
in your store. Did you have tiered pricing?

1x2 DBG normal brick, above price doesn't matter (just for illustrative goal)
, just the case makes me wonder what happened...
