I don't trust BL's vetting process enough for this to make any difference.
They seemly haven't shown that they take the fraud going on seriously.

I'm thinking on the lines of selling limits and maybe escrow services in
addition to some other security in place.

Wasn't this something that was supposed to come out of the 2015 BrickLink
Roundtable, both identifying verified sellers on their profile and some sort
of escrow (with instant checkout)? I can't recall exactly, and the recap
document has been deleted. I agree something should be done, but I have little
faith in anything being implemented anytime soon as these things have already
been promised.

Please show sellers whether or not they are currently eligible and showing up
as a highlighted store. Also, please be more specific in the description as to
how sellers are eligible or not, and maybe reduce the 6 month ban if they close
their store. Many reputable sellers close their stores from time to time, or
even daily, 6 months is a long time not to be eligible, just because they closed
their store for a day or two.

Thank you for considering this,

Darren

So I'm going on vacation soon and was looking through the forum to see if
more information had been provided regarding this and could not find anything.
Out of curiosity, I went to the help page (last updated July 28) and saw that
the policy had changed to: "Be open. Your store needs to be in current Open status.
If you close your store for any reason, you will be eligible starting from the
day you reopen."

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else had missed this. Secondarily,
does anyone recall if this change was ever actually communicated and I just could
not find it or missed it?

The page that Bricklink shows me has had the same 4 stores on it, day after day.
Bricklink states "Shop from a dedicated LEGO community" and then shows those
4 stores. In all of Bricklink there are no other dedicated stores worthy of shopping
at?

I am seeing this as well, the same four stores every single day, none of which
have a logo which is supposedly a requirement. So much for "all BrickLink visitors
will see a different set of Stores on the homepage each day."

Each day you see 4 different stores than I see, though each day the same.

Ah, so I've been reading it wrong this whole time!
