| Hi
Is there a way (or setting) to collapse all Tan pics to the same shade? So that
all listings are simple, uniform.
or, show all in the the most common shade? (which is... the last?!?)
or, exclude just that strange shadowy Tan?
Oh well, just in case, if there's a fix also for Dark Tan... I'd love
to use it

| For reference, my uneducated eyes, not aware of any legoid, will say:
Brass:
- light brass: small sword
- dark brass: mask
Copper:
- copper: big sword
bronze:
- bronze: mask, dome.
- freshly cast bronze: axe head

| Before venturing in selling it, first thing to do is a deep inspection with magnifier/microscope/light
etc
If it happens that the part ID is for 16x16 baseplate, it would be a complete
different case, don't you think?
Better yet, what if it's an unknown ID?
| Can I sell this item on Bricklink?

| Since authenticity isn't discussed, I find it plausible that a defective
16x22 escaped the factory in the '70

Who adds any more black technic pin in his lists?
Don't everyone here have thousands already?
I suspect this is skewed by inventories imported into wantedlists, where the
most common parts always show up.
I would love to see a list of parts "added by human hand" imho.
Better, a list of human-parts which are not fullfilled yet, e.g. are picked up
by the search engine everyday.

| With the "apply order" button you see a table with proposed amounts to add
It's not easy to spot things that overflow. This is what the OP is finding
out I think.
I prefer to NOT HAVE an automatic overflow mechanism as the OP posted, I fear
I can't control it. I still prefer to see what happens and write down notes.
I dunno if they can highlight in yellow/red/orange when the amounts are inequal.
This could be informative and yet adaptable to user's habits.

| You're basically asking to have a "negative" wantlist: when you're buying
X bricks, but have Y of them, you'll like to buy just (X-Y).
Kinda of selecting 2 wantlists in "Buy" page, but the second substracts from
the first.
Or applying a wantlist on another list, to raise the qty on the items or, as
in your case, having negatives in mind, you'll diminish the qty.
I haven't found a way to do that in months... so probably it doesnt exist
at all.

| To my eye it's COOL SILVER (id 296), but better, left out that _pearl effect_
with which it was made years ago. At that time, a Cool Silver part was right
in the middle between LBG and VeryLBG.
OK This is the 4th case since January.
Who know, maybe they liked it in the factory =)
I'd get one for my collection indeed.
I'd like this serempiditous error makes it into *real* production.
Can we can legally start a new name for that nice gray?

| Update:
Many of my measurements got rejected
Is it because of fractions? (0.5 0.66 ..)
My example was:
* | | 44567b Hinge Plate 1 x 2 Locking with 1 Finger on Side without Bottom Groove Parts: Hinge |
where W=1.67

| Ok I tested it for a bit. I added 20 things, bricks from disparate themes, even
a power transformator id 70928.
I think the new page is good. I can add stud- and packing-dimensions at the same
time. There is some error checking on our measures, preventing blunders. Zero
is allowed, we can use that with multiple meanings, better to give us guidance
maybe?
We disperately need the search engine now.
I spent hundreds of clicks just to find parts needing a caliper job. I won't
do that again (note: I'm not seller so can't fiddle with that famous
flag)

can someone help with identifying the color
the other colors on the picture are reddish brown (left crate) medium nougat
(right crate) and dark orange (slope)

Is that a sprue mark (pip) on the long side of that brick? AFAIK a Lego brick
would have one on the short side (old) or on the top (newer)
|
Good catch. The pip is misplaced and unesthetical, Lego won't do that.
We also know that non-Lego can't even clone a color right.

| Simply said, we don't know any LBG 731 made with old "normal spring".
Also my eyes perceive old gray, so I needed you to state what colours are there.
I'm here to help, just give us more data of them
|
Author: | tec | Posted: | Mar 24, 2021 16:07 | Subject: | Re: Shock absorber spring type | Viewed: | 30 times | Topic: | Catalog | |
| all LBG are soft.
all sets after 2003 are soft
all sets before 1997 are normal
they all seems normal to my eys
data:
soft = can sustain MORE than 600g
normal = can sustain LESS than 550g
yo, soft can hold more.

These two statements seem to contradict each other because LBG is post-2003.

| Hi all!
I'm inventorying
This is the first time that happen to me this fact.
In the instructions there are showed 18x Tile Round 1x1 in Trans Yellow but checking
better you can see how 16 of 18 are completely different from the standard Trans
Yellow.
In my picture you can see:
1) Slopes and plates in trans yellow
2) a group of tiles where the first two are trans yellow and below there are
two plate in Trans Neon Green for comparision.
I think that it could be probably due to a different composition of the material
but how I can consider them in the inventory...and most of all, in the shop?
Cheers,
Mirko
