I use the "Part Out" feature to create a wanted list with every part
in a set, then go through my collection and "find" all the parts until
I have enough to build it.

But the Counterparts (items with stickers or images on them already) never get
included in the list. So I have to go to the Bricklist set Inventory and add
them 1 by 1.

There is a tickbox in "part out" for "Extra parts" but not "Counterparts".
Often these parts have the same Part Number as the inventory but with a suffix
"pb001" or similar.

Is it possible to do what I'm wanting?

No, there is no way to add Counterparts from a part out. There is no system to
link them to the parts in the Regular inventory and therefore no way to ensure
you don't add duplicate items.

BrickLink should add a separate feature for this specific process. But that would
require new programming... it's not likely.

I would bet it can be done with Brickstore? Perhaps an experienced user can weigh
in.

I confirm, you do this and more really easily with BrickStore.

As an alternative (although it's more work), here's how I do it: The
sticker sheet is included in the inventory, so I look at that first, and pick
out all the stickered parts from my stock, deleting the to-be-stickered parts
from the wanted list. If I find everything, I also remove the sticker sheet,
if not, it stays there as a reminder to get the missing things later.
You could also manually add the counterparts from the inventory I guess, but
bricklink is notoriously unreliable with stickered counterparts anyway, so I
prefer the safe way...
Happy sorting!

to do that?

As the others said, there's no built-in way to check, but that's one
of the things BrickStore is excellent for - just one click to backup your stock;
do it regularly, and you have offline copies of everything to verify in case
of problems!
Anyway, don't fret too much, I don't think there's anybody here who
never had problems to learn from, welcome and enjoy your time on Bricklink!

Hi!
Dein Shop sieht von hier aus offen aus, das hat also schon einmal geklappt. Wenn
Du weitere Versandmoeglichkeiten dazufuegen willst (ins Ausland z.B.), dann musst
Du dazu im Menue von "My Store" auf "Edit Store" klicken, und
dann auf der linken Seite "Shipping". Dort siehst Du Deine Versandoptionen
und kannst weitere eingeben.
Viel Erfolg als Verkaeufer auf Bricklink!

GO to "Edit Order" (at bottom of the order page), there set the payment
status to unpaid. Then you should be able to cancel.

Hey all,
I have these two slopes, does anyone recognize the stickers? I suspect they don't
belong on the 88930s, but are they Lego at all?
Thanks!

Try waiting a few days, then dropping another piece. You might find the old one
while searching for that. The trick is to stop dropping things once you've
lost the cheapest possible piece... ;D

Didn't know those, so I went to look at the catalogue entry, and noticed:
3 of the sets have inventories (consisting of one piece), the others don't.
Not sure which way it's supposed to be, so I don't want to start a change

on item listing pages you can now report the item for sale! when you click on
it, it brings you to the report item for sale page with the lot number already
filled out.

Now the question is. has this already been a feature for a long time and I never
noticed it or is it indeed a new feature?

Yes, indeed, I found it, and can use it! Amazing! Can you imagine the amount
of work I alone can fling at catalogue admins just going through the listings
in non-existent colors that have been vexing me for years? They won't know
what hit them! ARRR!

The last time at least there was a good reason, Anne Boleyn was a hot chick I'm
sure. But Nigel Farage, for Chrissakes, seriously? *scnr*

Nevertheless, I'm considering starting to sell Lego to you infidels. Sent
out a couple of test packages last week, if everything goes well with those I'll
probably open my shop to you and all those other weird islands outside of Europe.
See you around!

Good luck, you Brits voted for excommunication and this is what you got.

This may sound like gloating, but it is not intended that way.

Until Brexit, I bought a lot in England. Lego, but also a lot of books. That
has now become unaffordable.

I my own shop I also no longer sell to the UK, but I do sell to all countries
in the EU.

Hey all,
I'm just attempting to start shipping outside the EU, and for the first try
I found a couple of nice customers (one UK, one Canada) who are helping me, but
there's still some things I can't figure out:
- In the CN35 form, where they ask me to describe the contents of the package,
that should be "used children's toys", right? Or do I have to mention
the Lego brand, or anything else?
- I found the link to print the VAT receipt for the UK order, but I don't
have that link for the Canada order. Is there a reason for that, or am I doing
something wrong? Buyer told me to not forget it, what can I do about that?
Thanks,
Patrick

  Hello,

I have made various orders lately, and two were for the same item, x71 - Rubber
Belt Small (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 2 x 2

Sometimes these come in a box, sometimes taken out, both sellers had them listed
as new, I have left feedback for both, but on closer inspection they are either
different parts or have one set been used?

The one on the right is definitely, x71, the one on the left I am not sure. Any
ideas? thanks

I don't think the diameter can change that much, even with a lot of use.
So I would guess they are not the same item. I don't know enough about rubber
bands though to say whether that much difference could be due to different production
runs, or if one of them is not Lego.
Just my 2c...

I imagine it will be regional, based on what the local postal providers can offer.
It shouldn't affect bricklink sales at all though. It is up to sellers to
provide any tracking in a dispute about non-delivery, whether that tracking comes
from their postal service or paypal.

You're right there of course; I was more thinking in terms of user interface
and data provided by bricklink to paypal - so far I send tracking numbers to
customers by message, because the way it's displayed in the order seems a
bit hidden to me (not to mention domestic packages often arrive before I get
round to typing in the numbers). If that means that from now on paypal will think
I don't provide tracking and raises red flags, that would be an annoyance.

  Hello, I’m a seller!

Half and week ago, buyer placed an order, I’ve sent it two days after. Of course
I have proof of sending, tracking number, every confirmation he needs.
Now it is 12 days (including weekends) when order was still on the way, I keep
messaging with buyer of course - but today he is writing me about refund few
times, because order has not arrived, I wrote to him that sometimes deliver is
delayed for some reasons, but I can’t help it even if I want to.
Of course it is frustrating for him, I totally understand that, but I’ve checked
tracking number moment ago and there is information that order is already delivered
to buyer, but he was/is telling me whole day that it was’nt.
Adress was correct, could you give me some advice what to do?

Pamela

If the buyer claims they did not receive the order, you as the sender should
file a claim with the post office (at least that's how it works in Austria,
I assume in Italy it's similar). They should then show you a proof of delivery
or refund the value of the package to you. That probably means hours in "customer
service" phone lines and waiting for weeks for replies, but if it's a
valuable package...

  Hello All!

I have been using Bricklink for years, but never made an account until a week
or two ago! I love lego a lot, but need some help!

I have been an avid lego toy story collector for the past few years, but need
some help knowing fake lego from real. Regarding part 90192, is there any way
to identify if it's real lego or not? I am talking about Twitch's antenna.
As he is quite pricy, and I am missing an antenna for my twitch, but I am worried
I might get a fake one when I find it. As I've said before, is there a way
to tell if it's official lego?

(I've attached an image of the Twitch himself)

With tiny pieces like those, I don't know a safe way; there's no space,
so they don't have the (C) and/or Lego logo, you can only go by look and
feel. With experience you can usually tell if the material or the color is not
quite right. If you're only missing one antenna, you have one more to compare,
that's a good start already. Can't offer anything better, sorry!

Hi Patrick,

In the past this has caused issues where the patterns are not exactly mirror
images but have been added anyway.

It also doesn't look good on images where the logo on the studs are obviously
reversed.

Having said that in this case the stickers are an exact mirror image and the
logos are quite small in the image so not that noticeable.

So yes if it means getting it into the catalog then yes please go ahead and submit
it.

Thanks,
Paul.

Thank you, done!

There's no logo inside the stud; dimensions are 3x3 studs.
