  Twice now I've ordered this part in black (only in two sets)

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3749

Part No: 3749 Name: Technic, Axle 1L with Pin without Friction Ridges
*
3749 Technic, Axle 1L with Pin without Friction Ridges
Parts: Technic, Axle {Black}

And actually received this part in black:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=43093

Part No: 43093 Name: Technic, Axle 1L with Pin with Friction Ridges
*
43093 Technic, Axle 1L with Pin with Friction Ridges
Parts: Technic, Axle {Black}

  I realize it might be hard to tell the difference, but as a buyer its frustrating.
The first time I was trying to complete a set (6950) and ordered $15 worth of
parts including the 1 pin that seller had, and they just refunded me for it,
no biggie. The second time I ordered two pins from a seller and bought other
items (just to make use of the shipping) and this seller also had the part misidentified.

So I have two questions for the community:

1) What do you think a reasonable refund for the second case? Just the cost of
the two pins? I did get other parts but I wouldn't have ordered them if the
seller didn't have the pins

The cost of the pins plus at least part of the shipping cost (say, $3-$4 - equivalent
to the minimum shipping fee if the parts have to be bought elsewhere). I think
this is a good rule of thumb overall if the wrong pieces are sent or aren't
in stock. In this case I think the seller would be justified in asking you to
return the misidentified parts (seller paying for the return postage, of course)
since even 43093 in black is fairly rare and expensive.

  2) If you have a lot of used parts from the 80s please go through your stash
of black 43093 and see if you actually have any 3749! There have to be more out
there somewhere!!! lol.

You know, I can't be absolutely certain now - it was almost 40 years ago
- but I believe my copy of

Set No: 6950 Name: Mobile Rocket Transport
*
6950-1 (Inv) Mobile Rocket Transport
197 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 1982
Sets: Space: Classic Space

came with light grey pins

Part No: 3749 Name: Technic, Axle 1L with Pin without Friction Ridges
*
3749 Technic, Axle 1L with Pin without Friction Ridges
Parts: Technic, Axle {Light Gray}

Of course I don't have any proof, but I seem to remember the contrast between
the black tires and the light grey pins. It could also be that I replaced the
black ones with light grey because I thought it looked cool.

Two minor points: the pin without ridges sells for $3-4, the one with ridges
sells for $.30. There is one guy in Canada with the "without" listed as 5 for
$.16 but those just popped up in the last few days, I can almost guarantee he
has them listed wrong (I'll be emailing him shortly to see, though shipping
would likely kill that particular seller for me).

And I have my childhood one, it definitely came with black. Yours were probly
swapped out later and that's what you remember.

And in this case the seller refunded my entire order just a few minutes after
I emailed them. I was hoping for maybe a partial or full shipping refund, but
they went above and beyond. I really do love it here!

Now everyone else! Go check your technic pins!

  I've been buying clearance stuff for a while and parting it into an inventory
of my old store (nothings for sale, just for my own reference) after coming out
of my second Dark Age, but I'd like to see what sets I started with, and
I've already tossed the instructions/boxes. And I didn't "inventory"
the instructions/boxes when I parted everything out.

Is there a way to see the history of everything I've added into my inventory?
I'd like to toy around with rebrickable (building alts and what not) but
don't know exactly what I started with.

Thanks

The page/s should cover your entire BL history as well, spanning back to 5/31/2009
prior to you joining.

Thank you so much! This will be so helpful!

My Local Target got these in stock (register locked for 4/11) and I see it doesn't
have an inventory, even though its been out through Legoland since last year.
Is that weird?

Might buy it for the figs, just looking to see what else is in the box.
