If you go to the bottom of the Price Guide, click "Add to my Inventory"
and it will auto-select the color from the Price Guide you were looking at.

Kinda yes. But the "checkbox solution" Russell references would require
time and new coding. Using "undetermined type" utilizes an existing method
that would be a quick and easy fix to this so-called problem.

Instead of merging, why not bring back the "undetermined type" entries
for those who don't care about distinguishing variants? The 'parent id'
for the UT then a, b, etc for the variants.

If the goal is to streamline inventories, the UT can be listed in the inventory
with variants listed in the Alternate section.

When wanted lists have the UT listed, all variants should be returned as well
[this functionality would likely need to be built tho].

Added bonus - having "undetermined type" listed in the item description
would indicate that variants of the part exist. Anytime a new variant is identified,
"undetermined type" could be added to the now "parent" entry
and this would automatically CYA the seller who is unaware of (or doesn't
care to separate) the variant, while also allowing those who do care, the option
of now differentiating them.

We're still having issues printing orders in Firefox. It is cutting off about
1/3 of the order (the last 2 columns).

Anyone else?

Hi! We've seen an increase in NPBs lately which holds up inventory for 12-19
days.

Thanks for reducing the time for filing NPB to 5 days. But can we also reduce
the time it takes to complete the NPB process and cancel the order from 7-14
days to 2 or 3 days?

Being that we no longer wait for mail delivery of checks or money orders, 7-8
days total is plenty of time for Buyers to submit payment.

Thanks!

Went into effect 4/3/2022.

Search "USPS rate changes effective April 3, 2022" if the following link doesn't
work:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Announcements/USPS-rate-changes-effective-April-3-2022/ba-p/32787641

Pirate Ship offers the best rate estimate to calculate shipping and is the same
rates as Ship Station via PayPal. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply...

There has been a major glitch a couple hours ago.
Read forum before posting

I did - I'm not seeing any messages referencing a glitch / issue ?

  Is there a bug?

Yes, but fixed apparently.

Glad to hear, thanks!

Received an order for 0 items, order total $0.00 but with $1.85 sales tax owed
??

How is that even possible?

We cancelled the order and asked the buyer to resubmit but still awaiting. Also,
have not received any orders since that one which was hours ago.

Is there a bug?

But in short, you've made a mistake, it's cost you some fees?
You probably won't make it again.

I guess we've all learnt more or less this way

Also, this wasn't a mistake. The item arrived damaged.

Change the payment status to "Not Yet Paid".

Tried changing the payment status, even unbundling Payment and Order status.
I can only change to "Sent" or "Cleared", but still won't let me submit a
Removal Request. Can't change to none.

The error says the problem is with the "Order status" not payment status. So
payment status should be irrelevant anyway.

It's just weird that BrickLink won't allow a removal when a refund has
already been issued (regardless of order status) - especially since they can
verify the refund.

Because if you refund say 4.77$ it's MAYBE for this 4.77$ item, but it could
also be to refund a 4.77$ shipping, or 2.00$ shipping and 1$ of insurance + 1.77$
for 3 different lots.

Or any combination of anything.

This is kinda true. But when you select the reason for the refund, you select
whether it's for shipping or an item, etc. (Not saying it can't be fudged,
but ...)

If I've issued a refund for $100, shouldn't I be able to remove an item
for the same amount from the order? BrickLink has a record of the refund and
can verify that Buyer received it through PayPal on-site.

I"d think the problem isn't the Received, but the payment status: Paid.

Very possible, but payment status cannot be changed from "Paid" as payment was
done on-site.

This seems to be a bug... if you can issue a refund after shipment, shouldn't
you be able to remove the item that caused the refund?

I don't believe you can remove it before the order is shipped. However you
could try setting the payment to none and save and then see if you can send an
item removal request.

Item was already shipped and received by Buyer. Refund has already been issued
and received by Buyer. Payment cannot be changed to none - order was only partially
refunded not full refund. Also cannot change status from "Received" or now "Completed".

Ask buyer to change the status?

Buyer can only change status to "Complete" and this did not solve the issue -
this status also does not allow Removal Requests.

An item arrived damaged to a Buyer - Buyer agreed to a refund and we have issued
the refund + extra to buyer through BrickLink.

This was a rather expensive item and we tried to remove it from the order after
refunding. But get the error "Order does not have valid order status for order
item removal." Order is in "Received" status so we can't change the status.

Buyer has already received refund. How do we remove the item from the order?

Help!

Tax time, a whole year later and this still hasn't been implemented.

Please BrickLink, this is crucial for filing sales taxes. Thanks!

There's also no way of telling what kind of item is in my cart (set or instructions,

This is true for the new Wanted List as well. No way to distinguish between
box, instructions, set.
