| Hello. Apologies if this question has been raised before but I couldn't find
it looking back through the forums.
I'd like to invest in certain Lego sets and would really love to buy the
sets in multiples to match the brown LEGO retail outer shipping boxes (for 2
reasons, to try to minimise and potential shipping damage to individual boxes,
and also to keep the sets in the best condition for the future)
Specifically, I'm really wanting to buy a few 42158 Mars Perseverance Rovers
as I really think the potential ROI could be good - the last rover was around
£60 and now regularly achieves over £300. I have a feeling they are shipped to
stores in 3's but it could be in 5's?. Obviously there's no guarantee
I'd receive them in the outer boxes but I'd stand more chance ordering
in the correct numbers.
Does anyone know a way of finding out the number of boxed sets are in each outer
container or better still, know how many of these sets are in each outer?.
Thanks

| OK, so I’m a UK based seller and in the UK we have the option to send packages
at a very good price with our postal service, as long as the pieces fit into
a ‘large letter’ format which is no thicker than 25mm. When I first opened my
store I got caught out with a buyer who ordered pieces bigger than 25mm. I was
advised that I should mark the ‘over size’ pieces in my inventory as ‘volume’
bound rather than ‘weight’ bound. I’ve done that and set up another shipping
method for small parcels, and it’s made no difference, today I got another order
for a large piece (that I marked as volume bound) and my buyer has managed to
still select the cheaper shipping. Other than forcing all orders to be invoiced
out, does any other UK/non-UK seller have an idea please?
Thanks 🙂
