You say you have

But I don't see 65766 in the inventory for that set.

I do see this one:

The alternate black part 65766 is not listed in that set. I just parted out a
used 42107 and that came with that part in it. Either way those parts can be
combined...just want to add that to the catalog as LBG if we can.

I have a customer who ordered and used PayPal onsite for payment but could not
use that service. They then opted to pay by cash and sent it. How can I get the
order status changed to be able to update and complete the order since it has
shipped?

I parted out 2 of these sets the other day and both of the sets had the red technic
shock absorbers 6.5L - hard spring tight coils at ends. This is probably the
most common shock in this set as a 2023 production...however it is not listed
even as an alternative or in known colors for the set in the price guide. Only
other set for this shock listed in red is the 42129 Mercedes truck from 2021.

The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred

Not sure if it went through. Had a Screenshot of the PayPal refund as a file

bricklink tends to throw that message up when something is entered incorrectly
(an example if you try to submit a change request on a part page but enter a
figure number it will show an error like that) so try double checking that files
are the correct format. all required fields are selected and filled and similar

Tried it again with a smaller PayPal screenshot and it went through this time...thank
you all for the help

noting it is after the fact, but if future usps packages are 'lost' try
opening a Missing Mail Inquiry on the usps website.
typically after opening the Inquiry, it gets the package moving again within
3-5 days.

likely the package got sorted into a wrong bin or is stuck in a computer loop
somewhere. the Missing Mail Inquiry forces a human to physically go look for
the package and get it moving again.

Already did that...still missing

The buyer has to go into the NSS and cancel it themselves, then you can verify
the refund (if paid thru paypal onsite) and cancel the order after that

The problem is the buyer is not doing it after several messages about it

Had an order that USPS lost in the mail. I refunded the buyer after reaching
out to the post office and doing a mail search to no avail. Both of us left positive
feedback for each other and no bad messages sent regarding the order...

Their NSS

BHF65 initiated Non-Shipping Seller alert.
Reason: Seller shipped order but order was incomplete
Details: The seller returned my payment as the items seem to have been lost in
the mail. I am simply trying to close this order

My response to NSS

I refunded the customers money because USPS lost the order in the mail. You will
see the customer stated that a refund was given. Please check the messages from
the order.

I don't want the NSS...do I need to do something or will BrickLink remove
it due to the refund I gave the seller.

I recently took apart my Fire Brigade modular set that I had had on display for
years. It appears that the Fire Brigade set was made while TLC had a problem
making dark red parts that ended up being brittle—at least the 1X1 tiles in the
set. 2 of them broke right in half diagonally when I took the set apart.

Does anyone know what type of glue would be best for repairing such parts? I
have some super glue that contains cyanoacrylate. Are there certain ingredients
that I should look for or avoid?

Thanks,
David

Wanted to see if any catalog admins could make changes to the these motorcycle
tires as they are not listed correctly between the 3 sizes...

88516 - narrow - 94.2mm D. x 22mm motorcycle racing tread
67140 - medium - 94.3mm D. x __mm motorcycle racing tread narrow(which would
not be narrow as listed and has no width measurement)
46335 - wide - 94.3 Dmm. x 38mm motorcycle racing tread

Wheel and tire assembly 88517c03(88517/67140) in the catalog looks exactly like
88517c019(88517/88516) so we will need to get a new pic for 88517c03...which
I have added to my part in my store.

  Hello,

I am posting a question that arose from this conversation:

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1410840

rbritton31 has pointed out that one tire is currently called 'Narrow'
yet is no longer the narrowest of 3 similar tires in our catalog.

Part No: 88516 Name: Tire 94.2mm D. x 22mm Motorcycle Racing Tread
*
88516 Tire 94.2mm D. x 22mm Motorcycle Racing Tread
Parts: Wheel, Tire & Tread
LEGO calls this MOTORCYCLE TYRE Ø 94.2.
Our dimensions are: 10.6 x 10.6 x 2.06 cm

Part No: 67140 Name: Tire 94.3mm D. Motorcycle Racing Tread Narrow
*
67140 Tire 94.3mm D. Motorcycle Racing Tread Narrow
Parts: Wheel, Tire & Tread
LEGO calls this TYRE NARROW, DIA. 94.3, NO. 1
Our dimensions are: 9.43 x 9.43 x 2.7 cm

Part No: 46335 Name: Tire 94.3mm D. x 38mm Motorcycle Racing Tread
*
46335 Tire 94.3mm D. x 38mm Motorcycle Racing Tread
Parts: Wheel, Tire & Tread
LEGO calls this: TYRE, WIDE, DIA. 94.3X38, NO. 1
Our dimensions are: missing

We would appreciate some guidance on updating the names for consistancy and to
avoid confusion.

Thanks!
Jen

Yes...88516 should now be called narrow, 67140 should be medium, and 46335 should
be named as wide in the BrickLink catalog. I can contribute pics for some of
these wheel/tire assy. for catalog images.

I have a few sets I can work on now.

Hello,

I am happy to help with this! Feel free to contact me directly with any questions.

The quick answer is you add the new part here:

https://www.bricklink.com/wantedCatalog.asp?catType=P

while uploading an image for it here:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogImageAdd.page?itemType=P

After it is approved, you add it to the set inventory here:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChange.asp?itemType=S

Find a similar part in the catalog to get a sense of the correct Category, Item
Name, and Item Number to use for your new part.

All of these links can be found on the Catalog Add or Change page.

Will do...You have helped me with a few before.

Go into the zone of the shipping method and deselect the country.

I can't figure this out. Nothing lets me select or deselect countries to
ship to. Can anybody chime in with more info please. Am I supposed to be able
to do this when selecting a country on the map...when I do there are no options.

You have to edit each shipping method, the map you see is just an overview.

What page are you supposed to be on to see countries to edit....that is what
I can't find.

Just figured it out. You have to click on International under the rate chart
in the Destination & Base Rate section when you are editing USPS Shipping International...that
was kinda a PITA to find!!
