O well ev make more pollution in the battery production and when they are sent

Do some research, it’s fascinating what lies the government is trying to push
down our throats.

Citation needed. I did some very quick research and it turns out EVs makes less
pollution than a gas car:

Bricklink should really validate their input. Otherwise weird things happens...

Would you mind sharing how you did that?

I would assume Bricklink does/did not validate the input field and simply trusts
the user does not manipulate it.

I like this change as long as you don't merge significant parts such as the
jumper plates.

How will this affect selling complete sets?

If for instance I am selling a used set (as complete) containing
[P=30474,85]
Would I then be allowed to sell it with the newer

Part No: 3298 Name: Slope 33 3 x 2
*
3298 Slope 33 3 x 2
Parts: Slope {Dark Bluish Gray}
As those parts would be merged?

Didn't Bricklink investigate this? If I remember correctly, Bricklink closed
the store, but reopened it again, because there was nothing suspicious. I think
(hope) Bricklink would require definite proof that those 1000 Jokers were obtained
legitimately.

is no longer required, or is this a bug/issue with Bricklink?

Was VAT charged on the order? It would not have been if, for example, the order
was £135 or more.

If the buyer is in Northern Ireland (which is still part of the EU VAT zone),
they would pay EU VAT, not UK import VAT.  And as you (musen2100) don’t seem
to be VAT-registered, that means they just pay your prices.

That is the explanation, thank you so much!

No, it was only 75 euros.

  Hello everyone
I bought a 4,000 euro Lego from a Dutch seller on September 5th.
Today I received a box with only 700gr. It was an empty box. I didn't sign
for it or open it, the box will automatically be returned to the seller.
I contacted the seller to ask for a refund, but he didn’t reply. What should
I do? I used bank transfer.
Please help me, thank you very much.

Contact your bank. Depending on which one you use there is a high likelihood
they will refund you.

As far as I am aware Studio 2.0 is made in Unity, so what happens now that Unity
decided to be anti-consumer?

If you are unaware, Unity decided to charge a 0.20$ fee for every install of
software using their engine. This should includes Studio, so I believe it would
be pretty costly since Studio is free.

Maybe Lego switches back to LDD?

Do you have enough money in your paypal account to complete the refund?

Hi all,

I had an order which unfortunately did not arrive, so I am trying to give the
buyer a full refund.

However, every time I try submit the refund to the buyer, I get the error
"Could not process the refund due to PayPal payment processing error. Please
try again later."

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

There are some signs it could be fake, however we must keep in mind the "LEGO"
text on this mold looks incredibly good, and it is hard to achieve that kind
of precision. The cost of making such a precise mold (at least for LEGO) is a
lot over $100000. This would require a lot of parts to be sold, to be profitable
if faked.

To be honest, which sense does it make to fake a part and use a normal font for
"LEGO" instead of using an italic one?

If someone really fakes even the company name then it should be really no problem
to them to make it correct at least for the font.

Mauro

Agreed, the easy part of copying a mold should be to have the "LEGO"
in italics.

It may be that they want to sell the entire store in one go, so leave it open
but set a high minimum so people can see the contents. However their pricing
looks very wrong, way too low.

Least favourite the store, and they won't mess up searches. Although they
will mess up the current for sale price guide.

Couldn't this be fixed if Bricklink imposed at rule so, the min buy can not
be higher than the price of all the stores' inventory combined? This way
people can still sell their store in one go, but not mess with current for sale
price guide like this seller is doing.

I think most buyers are happy with getting the parts they want at a reasonable
price in a relatively short time, rather than getting the absolute best deal
no matter how much time and risk they need to put into it. Even more so if it
means dealing with sellers you have used before or have a good reputation. The
best seller for an order is not necessarily the cheapest, if it takes them ages
to pick and pack or they send the wrong parts or have missing parts, and so on.

I am not sure about that, I honestly think many buyers would prefer to save €250,
if we use my example. I just think most buyers are not aware that they would
be able to save money.
