I keep receiving a message today stating:

"Only one item/color combination is allowed per Wanted List"

This is no matter what I try to edit. Even in a want list with 1 item. Receiving
same error on laptop and phone. Clearing history didn't work.

Hi,

There’s duplicate entries in ONE of your wanted lists, and that blocks ALL your
wanted lists.

If you go there: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/list.page you’ll see which
WL(s) has duplicates.
And when you visit that WL (or those WLs), the items will be marked.

You need to correct all your WLs before you can do anything else.

Ah looks like I had 1 old variant still in my default list, easy fix. Thanks
so much!

complete and total scammer, lots of NSS completed and the store was suspended
and closed. bricklink even emailed buyers directly to tell them it was a scam.
just super surprised to see the store reinstated. just look at that feedback
(!!) I know several people in my facebook group who got scammed by this store.

The original owners were given access to their account yesterday to start the
recovery process. All the fraud feedback will be removed and the orders canceled.
There is a block on the store now that prevents buyere from checking out.

Understood, but still stings enough to see it back open while having an ongoing
open dispute /claim in Paypal since 12/19 with no refund to date. Paypal stated
Seller (or hacker perhaps?) gave them incorrect info a couple weeks back so they
had to investigate further. Leaves a sour taste in mouth from buying. I have
not bought anything on here since as prefer this resolved first.

Appears this certain raffle style does not technically meet the definitions cited,
although admit there can be gray area.

You have to buy something to get a ticket. It's not a free sweepstakes, it's
an illegal raffle.

If "buy something, get a lottery ticket" was legal (it isn't), again eBay,
Amazon et al would do it all the time.

Have you ever seen "Get a raffle ticket with every purchase!" in Target, Walmart,
or any other chain store? No, you haven't, because it's still illegal.

From the site "Raffle laws in the US and Canada":

Raffles and lotteries both have the same three defining elements:

Consideration (the entry exchanges money or something else of value for the
chance to win).
The prize has monetary value.
The winner is drawn randomly.

https://www.liveabout.com/raffle-laws-in-the-us-and-canada-running-a-legal-raffle-4590248

The key point is "Consideration". In the case of OP's promotion, you can't
get an entry unless you exchange $. It's not a grey area, it's illegal.

Here's a bit from an article in the Oklahoman, a newspaper in OP's state,
detailing how all those clever little workarounds everyone who has ever done
this thinks they are a wizard for coming up with don't work:

Hold the raffle as part of a chili supper, so when you buy a chili supper
ticket you also get a chance on a TV set. That's still a raffle.

Print "Donation $1.00" on the ticket, to indicate the customer is donating to
a worthy cause, not buying a chance on a side of beef. That's still a raffle.

Pay with canned food instead of money. That's still a raffle.

Thank you

You seem passionate about the topic. Admittedly I am not, but I appreciate passion
and enjoy learning new things. I also understand your concern with the original
post and how the prize giveaway was presumably done. In case you decide to pursue
your passion further into Oklahoma raffle laws and how they are illegal for all
for profit stores (period), this clause is under the Oklahoma statute you cite:

"Provided, it shall not be a violation of the lottery or gambling laws of this
state for:

A bona fide resident merchant or merchants of a city or town, acting in conjunction
with the Chamber of Commerce or Commercial Club of this state thereof, to issue
free of charge numbered tickets on sales of merchandise, the corresponding stub
of one or more of which tickets to be drawn or chosen by lot by a representative
or representatives of the Chamber of Commerce or of the Commercial Club in the
manner set forth on the tickets, the numbered stub or stubs so drawn to entitle
the holder of the corresponding numbered issued ticket to a valuable prize donated
by the merchant;"

Your promotion is illegal. It is against the law in all 50 US states for individuals
and for-profit businesses to hold raffles.

Here are the laws for Oklahoma (§21-1051):

https://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/DeliverDocument.asp?CiteID=69564
http://www.gambling-law-us.com/State-Laws/Oklahoma/

In short, only churches, schools, fire/police departments and registered non-profits
can hold raffles in your state. The entity holding the raffle has to work for
or be a member of a qualified organization, so you can't hold a raffle and
then claim you are donating the profits to a qualified charity to create a loophole.

In addition, even if you were one of the legally defined entities that is allowed
to hold a raffle in your state, by offering it online, you are potentially violating
the laws of other states. Some states allow raffles, but do not allow them to
be held online. Some states disallow *anyone* from holding raffles, even charities
and non-profits. Some states do not allow credit cards to be used to buy raffle
chances.

And finally, you cannot take Paypal for raffles, unless you have approval to
do so, and they will not grant those permissions unless "the operator and customers
are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted
by law".

Thank you

Appears this certain raffle style does not technically meet the definitions cited,
although admit there can be gray area. However, the store is selling items at
regular price and if anything they are losing money (cost of prize). They are
not charging for the raffle entry direct perse, although I understand your view
of an incentive. Personally though, I give kudos to this store and like the idea
of creating a connection with customers.

Set No: 75324 Name: Dark Trooper Attack
*
75324-1 (Inv) Dark Trooper Attack
146 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2022
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars The Mandalorian
New, sealed

Alrighty, here’s the contest:

Among the packages we dropped off this morning @ 7am Aug 4th, was a package traveling
USPS First Class to Texas (we're in Washington) Be the closest to the delivered
date and time entry, to win.

When the package has shown as “Delivered” I will post the USPS tracking link
to show details and declare the winner.

As it's a prize, we’ll pay the shipping (the right thing to do) And so with
that in mind, only BL members based within the US are eligible. Unless... you
are willing to supply a US address (friends, family, another BL member, etc,
does matter) where the prize can be shipped to. If so, please join in!

Contest rules are few: Two entries per member ~ per 24 hour period. The closest
entry wins. Identical entries are adjudicated by timestamp. Extraneous silliness
is encouraged

Have a little fun!

-Christman Family

8/9 11:24am or 8/9 2:37pm - I will say if they are in Pacific, Mountain Central
Eastern Samoan Atlantic, Chamorro Alaskan or Aleutian time after the package
is delivered and announced.🙃

PayPal echecks normally take some time to clear. Don't ship until the check
clears. You may want to send a note to your buyer stating that you will ship
as soon as the echeck clears.

I had a recent order for a decent some of money "paid" last Saturday by paypal
echeck. Paypal stated funds should be received in 3-5business days so possible
based on time of payment Saturday evening it can still be received this Monday
(5th day if processessed this past Monday) although this seems slow, like there
is an issue with the funds. Anyone have similar experiences or different experiences
with an echeck payment?

Thanks for the responses, I was holding off on shipping but started to think
I should just cancel the order as couldn't believe how long the process took
and concerned something was wrong. Luckily, the funds arrived just a bit ago
so appears all set...hopefully!
