  Hoi collega's,

Als je VAT on shipping costs hebt enabled controleer dan of de orders na de update
kloppen. Het lijkt erop dat er een bug is na de update van vanavond.
Ik heb mijn store in iedergeval dicht gegooid.

Groeten, Milo

Dankje, zal er op letten.

43712 - Catalog Number
Dark Orange

I'm guessing these are pretty rare, as I can buy 1 - 2 of them from sellers
here. The issue is that the shipping alone is going to kill me. I need 8 of them,
and was wondering if anyone had 4+ they are willing to sell me for a fair price.

Reply if interested.
Thank you,

They are only in two sets from 2014.

It would be nice to see what items are on the most wanted lists. For example,
I was looking at the goat and noticed it's on more than 3000 wanted lists.

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=95341pb01&name=Goat%20with%20Dark%20Tan%20Horns%20and%20Medium%20Nougat%20Spots%20Pattern&category=%5BAnimal,%20Land%5D#T=C&C=1

Maybe I have something stashed away that people really want. Also, it would
be nice to filter the list to average price or category. I probably don't
need to know that black technic pins are on 581291 Wanted Lists.

Does this feature already exist?

Limited to one page.

  Help!

A lot of my remarks have disappeared!!??..

Parted out 2 x 21319 sets in normal way, started to put parts away and all locations
in remarks have gone!..

For info I use Brick Freedom to sync..Could this be the issue?..

Is there any way to restore all the values?

Causing me a huge headache!

I don't think there is, maybe Brick Freedom runs backups, else contact BL
and see if they can help you somehow?

Good luck.

Our shop abandoned using the order details page about 5 years ago in favor of
a homegrown version. It would be nice if BL offered an alternative way of showing
the order items similar to this (I intentionally say "alternative way" as I am
sure there are many people who don't want to have this page changed).

Our order detail page shows each lot as a little picture of the item, with "amount
ordered" - "new/used" - "item ID" - "color" below it, and "inventory left" (see
first pic) (we also have a red border around "new" items to have them stand out
as we mainly sell used items). The page shows 10 lots in a row, and when printed,
shows 10 rows on the first page (so 100 lots on the first page), and 120 lots
on subsequent pages.

Also, with just one additional field in the "order items table" (called "status"
or something similar) you can add some serious useful functionality to the order
details page. When you pick an order with the BL order details page, you can
use the check boxes in front of the items to keep track of what you picked. Until
you (for whatever reason) refresh the page. Boom. All checks are gone. With that
additional database field, BL can keep track of the "status" of an order item.
We use 4 different statuses - "none", "picked", "packed" and "error". In the
first pic you can see the first two items shown green ("picked"), and the other
4 items white (status "none").

Using this database field makes the "colors" ("statuses") of the lots persistent
- you can break for coffee and continue where you left off, you can load the
order on a different device etc.

At the top right we have a quick view of the state of the entire order (see second
pic) - this order has a total of 44 lots, all lots except 4 have been picked,
and no errors found. If you were to add a second field to the order items table
(something like "note"), you can add notes to a lot. See third pic - here we
have a lot where there is an issue (status is "red") with an indicator at the
top-left of the item pic which corresponds to a note at the bottom of the order
details page.

We use a print of this page as our picking list in our orders - no serious deforesting
needed, and annotated lots when there is the occasional issue.

Just some thoughts in case BL wants to revamp the order details page. I am available
if BL needs some technical assistance.

(We don't use the "remarks" field for order picking as we have our inventory
stored by category, but it is easy to change what is shown below each lot picture.
Also, our version packs some more functionality, like if you click on the picture,
you get a popup with the an overview of that item in all colors with amount sold,
amount in inventory, links to inventory history, appearance in sets etc - there
is so much functionality that can be added to the order details page.)

If anyone has any questions or need more pics, feel free to shoot me a message
(and no, this "product" is not easily portable, so we can't supply it to
other shops right now).

Niek.

I'd love to see more pics or chat about what you did to make things easier
and quicker to work with. I am working on a store manager myself and my order
list/picker looks a lot like the BL one, you can also close it and open it on
another device without losing progress (or even pick with multiple devices).

Already thanks for the insight into your system, it is really helpful!

Kind regards,
Erwin

Hello, I am new here and I have a problem with part 3002, since I have two parts
of this color that I do not know very well how to classify. Let's see if
someone knows how to tell me what color it is? to me it looks blue-purple.
Thanks in advance

I am not 100% sure (color in photo) but did you know about: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp

I'm new to the Bricklink ecosystem, including selling. I've gotten the
Store API up and running to help drive my personal inventory software and replace
the Rebrickable API I've been using up until now. Because Bricklink maintains
records for parts with sticker and for assembled minifigs this switch is critical
for me.

However I'm running into one roadblock - how to programmatically download
the full Part List and Set List. I see in the API docs that the only Lists I
can access are colors and categories. But for items I seem to need to specify
the item number.

I have manually downloaded part list and set list from the Downloads page but
I can't figure out how to do that using code.

I've noticed that the program BrickStock updates its database automatically
which makes me think it's possible to do. Is it?

Hi, I don't think you can You can only get all sets in your own inventory
and use:

Get Subsets(Part Out): Gets a list of items that are included in the specified
item

What I have done is make a BrickLinkBrowser class that can log into the BL website
and download the required files from the download page, this gives me a full
part/set list.

Maybe I have overlooked something, I am not at that part in my project yet that
I really need it.

  Hi there,

Do you think a feature will be added in which when you part out a set you can
add in how much the set cost and then the system would calculate how much was
paid per piece? It's a pain adding it in individually especially when you
have over 300 items! It would be nice if a feature like this also worked out
how much each part cost based on how much they sell for (depending on if you
picked current average/6 month average etc). For example if you bought a set
for $20 and it had 4 parts equally the cost would be $5, however if two of the
parts average was $10 each and the other two were $1 each having a cost of $5
for each part wouldn't make sense. Having to work that out for each part
by hand is just way too time consuming, but if the system did it on part out
entry it would be awesome.

This will only work if parts always have the same cost price in each set, else
you would have to make separate lots for the same part (there is only one mycost
field per inventory item).
