  Dear all,

In the last few months, we received 2 requests from buyers requesting us to fill
in the customs form with the total price much below the total cost to avoid paying
taxes in their countries (bigbao and lycaneart). Worst, they requested us to
commit fraud in our own country.

Those orders were canceled, so we lost 15 euros to PayPal fees.

If this happens again, we are thinking of not replying to the buyer about their
request and just sending the order with the customs form filled in correctly.
What do you think?

The buyer could refuse to pay the customs fees. The package will then be returned
to you, and you will lose the shipping costs paid on top of the PayPal fees.

You can language on your terms page stating that you will not undervalue orders
for customs forms - there are many examples from other stores that you can copy.
You can also hold back the PayPal fees when you refund a cancelled order, but
you may get negative feedback as a result. Or you can do what you are doind now
and eat the PayPal fees as a cost of doing business and report the buyers.

Or we can send the order, then it returns and then we paid the Paypal fees and
also the shipping...
We have information about the customs form in our terms.

I wonder what would happen if a copy of their email requesting the lower cost
accidentally ended up with the customs forms?

Nothing would happen. The buyer either pays the customs duties or refuses. Upon
refusal the package will be returned to the seller, and the seller will be out
the cost of shipping on top of the PayPal fees.

That's exactly why we canceled the orders...

We cannot include such message in our terms in European Union.

Unless I’m missing something you don’t have to cancel the order. I’ve gotten
messages like that a few times and just tell them no and ship the order out with
the full amount on the forums and havnt had any issues. (It might be different
in Europe but can’t you adjust your terms to say if they do that that you just
won’t refund the PayPal fees or something?)

Don't you agree that the Bricklink Team could include a message in the newsletters
reinforcing the message that this kind of request is totally illegal everywhere
in the world, and it is not a special request from the stores (if they have that
information in terms of service)?

Just a brief message to let you know we are aware of this problem and are working

Thank you.

It seems to work with Catalogs and Instructions but nothing else - at least not
Sets, Parts, Minifigures, or Gear

I'm having this with minifigs. When i went to manage inventory, it shows
no items, but the sets show. The Minifigs can still be seen when searching in
the market.

Hiya, Im guessing this is related to the Stockroom Search Items...

If I go to My Inventory, then Click on Any of the the minifig categorys I get
'No Items Found' .... for any categories that have some retained pricing
(ie Have a Zero lot Stockroom item) and hence also for the 'Show All'
link.

I also noticed when parting out a set for Items that I already have in my inventory,
the 'View Inventory Detail' is broken (it shows nothing found) for minifigures.

Hope this is sorted soon; cant really part anything else out until it is

In addition to the major issues with Stockrooms right now, you can also not see
any inventory when selecting "Show All" - and to add insult to injury, now the
"dimensions" are all messed up which makes the input boxes super small.

AND - now I'm going through our shops inventory and only a couple of items
can be seen with any inventory - everything else is not showing up at all. Example:
Animal, Accessory (300 items in 1 lot), Animal, Air (750 items in 4 lots) show
up fine. Then, Animal, Body Part, Decorated (625 items in 3 lots) won't show
up at all - says ZERO items and it's very hit/miss - I have one that has
over 70 lots that comes in fine, but the ones around it do not.

HELP PLEASE.

This is insanity. There's no way to do proper work on your store like this...

Hi,
I sent a message some minutes ago to the Support, because similar problem too!
Maybe you should do the same... I sent print screens.

There are no items in several different sections (minifigures, minifigs parts,
weapons, etc...) of my inventory but they are shown on the store frontpage. I
am not able to access those items in the backoffice or upload additional items.

I hope Bricklink team solves this quickly.
Best
Pedro

But also, do sellers really have to find out the sales tax %age for a seller
and compute it manually???

Yes and no. If the refund is done via BL, the seller has to enter an amount.
But it isn't terribly obvious what amount to enter. The last time I did one,
I kept changing the amount until I zeroed in on the correct net refund, and then
took it for granted that the sales tax shown was the correct amount. It can be
done, but you have to twiddle the numbers for a few minutes.

Nita Rae

It seems what you are describing is what I said, you had to guess the buyer's
sales tax percentage to find the full refund amount.
And it could made worse by the fact that it's not clear whether the tax applies
also to the shipment amount.
I think BL worked with a company to implement the sales taxes, why do they expect
sellers to be able to figure it on their own?

Several buyers in Portugal are complaining in Lego Portugal Facebook forum that
they are not able to checkout.
We do not even see the total of the order items
The Checkout Green button is not working and there is this red text "System error"

We hope to have a fast update on this error soon from Bricklink

Hello Bricklinkers,

Some minutes ago, I found out that the "Coral" part (49577) is included in the
Plant Section of Bricklink, which is scientifically wrong. Coral is an Animal!

Please check additional information here:
https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/coral.html

I wrote to customer service of Bricklink explaining this mistake. I hope they
change this part to the Animal Water section!

Best,

Rita
