I have 2 canceled orders still showing on my Orders Received page. I've given
full refunds to both but would like to remove them from the page. Other than
marking them Complete, how can I do that?

I may be a little slow on the updates because I'm not a big store, but I'd
like to insert my 2 cents. I HATE THE NEW FORM!! It doesn't allow me to personalize
my greeting, do a refund, or anything else. I can add the tracking number
& a short note if needed. I like the old form!! It was more like writing a friendly
note than an invoice. I could actually have a conversation with my customers!
How can I go back to using the old form?

Not “many,” all of them.  They need to be identified.

Imagine at the factory:
“Hey, we want us to make a few of that neck part.  Put the mould in machine 20.”
“Which neck part?”
“You know the one for the heads!”
“??”

I mean broken not disassembled, hence they are not listed as seperate parts here.

I finally heard back from LEGO and you are right. "we're pretty sure the
part you're describing is a 10.2 ball snap assembly, although all sets using
it are retired. The only set that shows up in our system that uses it is set
75529 Elite Praetorian Guard, which is a Star Wars™ set."

Thanks so much for all your help! I guess I'll just add this to my collection
of odds and ends I've found in LEGO orders!

OK, I am still looking for help identifying this piece. I have searched the internet
as much as possible, and even contacted LEGO.com with no luck. It's been
over a year and I still don't know what this piece is, what set it might
go to, or what number to list it on BrickLink with! I have included pics of each
side of this piece in the hopes that someone here knows what it is.

Oh, and please!! If you don't know what it is, please don't reply like
the last time I asked. And yes, before anyone suggests it, I have searched the
color base, again with no luck considering there are thousands of BLACK pieces!!

I am inclined to believe that it is an internal component of one of the Star
Wars constraction figure heads:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogListOld.asp?q=large%20figure%20head%20modified%20sw

Which one? I have no idea.

Could be. My question would be, if it's part of this assembly, WHY does it
have it's own part #, and if it's part of this head, why aren't the
individual parts listed. I asked the exact same question at LEGO.com and got
nothing.

Looks like you spot on here.
Look at the bottom of this head its a match. (It may be from any of the black
heads.)

I have been trying to complete inventory verification for about 2 months now
and have found numerous discrepancies!! I now have a bag full of several hundred/thousand
pieces that have been totally dropped from my BrickLink inventory! Now I will
have to re-add them before I even start with the inventory I just received.

I've been using BrickStock to update or upload inventory and it works fine.
When I download my store inventory to verify, there are either pieces listed
that I no longer have or pieces I have that aren't listed.

Has anyone else had or having this problem, and if so, is there a resolution
for it other than manually re-entering everything? Raising two grandchildren,
I really don't have the time to keep double-checking whether BrickLink is
working correctly. This is the 3rd time in a year that I've basically had
to re-do inventory because BrickLink totals did not jive with what I actually
have in inventory.

Got this part as part of an auction win and I cannot find it anywhere. I have
checked different LEGO sites, and the internet in general, but the only thing
I get when I type in the number of the piece is a Duplo set.

The part # on the piece is 2086. The piece is 3" long x 2" wide x 1.25" height.
The bottom is Sand Blue, the top is Black with a Copper band decoration. The
holes on the sides go all the way through (for an axle), the one on the back
is only 1/4" deep.

I am very curious as to what this piece is, what set it might have come from,
what could be built from it.

Here you go:

I have discovered that 7 outgoing orders have possibly been stolen from my residential
mailbox. I have security, but the camera doesn't cover the mailbox area.
One customer in-particular is being very belligerent about not receiving his
order (over 400 pieces!).

I will have taken a big hit to my bottom line by the theft of those 7 orders,
and through no fault of my own, should I have to be the brunt of negative feedback?
He's already filing for a refund through PayPal, which is his right. What
are my options in this case?

I'm certainly not doing anymore business through my residential mailbox!!
I'll drive out of my way to go to the PO from now on!

Hmm, well I don't have this happen except for parts I intend to under count
on.

Parts sold in 2020 so far: 131,567
Parts added to store in 2020 so far: 123,346

How it happens is that you probably made some mistakes. Simplest solution is
usually the correct one. I see nothing that needs to be corrected from my end.

I could see miscounting with one or two pieces but when entire sections of my
inventory disappears?! For instance, I just verified my used Dark Pink and not
ONE of my bricks is showing up in BrickLink and I have a few hundred that I added
months ago! THAT is not a human mistake, that is a glitch in the system.

I know that this seems frustrating, but, believe me, if BL were deleting entire
sections of seller's inventories, there would be an uprising. I've been
selling for nine years with no major inventory problems.

Are you using any third party syncing software?

Do you use Stockrooms when uploading your parts?

Do you save back-ups of your inventory?

What method are you using to upload and confirm when you add inventory?

Start here and maybe we can help you figure out what happened...

Jen

Let's see:
No third-party syncing software
Do not use Stockrooms to upload parts
How do you save a backup of inventory?
I just use the Add Item of BrickLink, then add each piece- number of/price.

I don't usually have problems except when there is some kind of update. The
latest update was the worst. So far, in verifying my inventory (and I'm not
finished yet), I've had to re-add over 750 pieces to 31 different colors,
and I haven't gotten to the BIG inventories like white, tan, blue, red, etc.
These are just what I've had to re-add to the rare or uncommon colors.

Any help would be reatly appreciated!!

This is the 2nd time in the last few months I've had to go back and re-add
or delete inventory that got dropped or reappeared (and it's a pain!!).

How do you know how many pieces you've sold or added? Is there a way to check
that? You have me curious now to see what I've done so far this year.

#1. Not sure I have this post in the right forum but it concerns my inventory
so I took a chance.

Is anyone else having trouble with missing inventory? Not sure if it's the
latest BrickLink update or a glitch in the system somewhere BUT I've had
so much inventory disappear that I closed my store to verify it.

So far, and I'm only done verifying two colors, I've had to re-add about
a fifth of my pieces back into my inventory. I have the pieces but they disappeared
from my BrickLink inventory and I would love it if someone could explain HOW
that happens, and IF the problem will be fixed! Also, have had to delete those
pieces I've already sold that somehow showed back up in the system.

This is the 2nd time in the last few months I've had to go back and re-add

Has anyone (besides me) seen the newer LEGO knock-offs?! It's almost as if
someone defected from LEGO and took the color recipes with them!! The latest
batch I got at auction is loaded with them. I used to be able to tell the difference
just by looking at them. The colors were always just a little off, and many didn't
come in anything close to the LEGO colors. I have had to check every single piece
of this latest batch because the colors are almost identical! And pieces that
didn't come in the oh-so-close LEGO colors now do!! The colors are so close
that I've had to look at the smaller pieces under a magnifying glass to check
for the LEGO logo! It's frustrating to pay for what I think is a box of LEGO
only to find more than 3/4 are knock-offs!!

If anyone else is buying their stock at auction or at Thrift stores, check very
carefully that what you have is genuine LEGO.

David

Yes, it is. I've looked at just about every reference site for LEGO colors
and not one of them shows this piece (plate 4x8) coming in the original Light
Yellow.

I've decided not to list it for sale after all anyway. Just going to keep
it on my desk as a mystery piece!!

Maybe very yellowed white from years of sunlight exposure?

No, not yellowed white. I've had several pieces like that recently, but this
color is consistent throughout the piece. I've looked at several color charts
and I believe it to be #33 Light Yellow but nothing shows this piece coming in
that color.
