  Hi,

I would appreciate any help on changing my order status to "Paid" when
the buyer paid with a USPS Money Order.

1. My terms state that I accept payment with Money Order.
2. Customer placed order for kit
3. I invoiced order with shipping included.
4. Buyer send money order
5. I received money order

Can't change order status no matter what the previous status is. It does
not show any option for "Paid".

Thanks in advance!

You can change the shipping method using the edit order button (what looks like
two pieces of paper to the right of the order number).

If it’s to a buyer that is in a state that needs sales tax paid for, you can
not manually change to paid as BrickLink hasn’t received the tax payable.
You can only accept payment via an onsite method for those buyers.

I received an order from a recurring customer.
This time, the order has a different shipping address, a different name, and
the buyer says it is a gift and I should not specify any price or add any invoice
or bill to the envelope.
I clearly sense a dropshipping case here.

Is it allowed on bricklink?

If it is shipped outside your own country, you will still have to add customs
info including price.

So I can see if I'm forgetting orders lol.

They left you feedback for an order on 5 April.
Check your feedback. You can click on the order number on that feedback to see
what you ordered.

It is also possible that you have already filed the order so it doesn’t show
on your orders page

also, if any admins are reading this, this sellers seems to perfectly fit the
bill for one of the Mexico factory sellers so it may be prudent to look into
them.

It looks like they are located in the same area (Monterey) as the Mexican factory.
Either they work there, or knows someone that does.
All new minifigs, including 12 year old ones, with no parts from the related
sets.

It wasn’t hard to figure out the store name

Foe example: 60603 and 60494, window frame and glass, how do you find the combined
Lego catalog number?

Either do a search with an * after the part number to search for the combined
part, or look up the part number and look to see if it is available as a “part”.

On the right side of the listing, it shows “Item Appears In”. It will show the
sets, and under that parts.
The parts listing is the combined items.

In your example, the glass only appears as two “parts”. Neither of which is the
frame you mentioned.

"Our current orders placed" They are sellers in the transactions, Johan.

I missed the placed. Took it as orders received.

The point to make is membership diversity, by highlighting individual sellers
order-processing protocols. How each of us widely perceive buyer and seller behavior.
Expect and do things uniquely, all while staying within the guardrails the site's
minimal guidelines of expectation provide. Allowing for more individualism. Which
is what our nature deeply desires, but often denies itself for reasons I won't
go into

Afterthought: You'd ideally as a vendor, want to settle into those behaviors
which most (if not all) individuals expect and prefer. Find the sweet-spot.

It’s structured, but still allows some individualisms.
Some may think the way it works is straightforward, and very rigid in its process.

That's enough, my heads hurts Gonna have my coffee now and go workout at
the shore.

Need more coffee. Real coffee, not the PNW “specialty” stuff.

I've been trying to apply multiple orders to my wanted lists this past week
and for some reason it won't work. I click on the wanted list, then click
apply order, find the correct order, then review the parts from the order, but
every time I click the button at the bottom that says Apply to List it does nothing.
The button turns darker green, but nothing happens and the order never gets
applied. I've used this feature in the past and have no issues, am I doing
something wrong here?

The wanted quantity doesn't change. Did the Have quantity change?

Unfortunately nothing changes, it never leaves this screen no matter how many
times I click Apply to List

It looks like the two columns (have/want) are the same.

Do you get the “Only one item/color combination is allowed per Wanted List” error
when opening a wanted list?

  Hello guys,
please help, I'm quite new here.

I listed wrong version of an item and notice it right before sending it to buyer.
I offer that item for free but the other version is not needed by buyer so I
need to do my first refund as a seller.

I see there is "issue refund" in order field but it says there is technical
problem and I can't proccess the payment. I could do refund on PayPal but
theres less money cause of the fees.

Please anyone can help what to do? I already made support ticket but I don't
want to let the buyer wait for her money because of my mistake. Maybe anyone
here experienced the same issue before?

Thank you so much!
Michal from OverTheHills

Double check on PayPal if the refund went through.
I’ve had that error as well but it still worked.
I ended up refunding twice.

Very impressive!

How about the second order that hasn't even shipped yet, and the buyer has
already left positive feedback.

Seller you meant?

No the feedback is in the “them” column.

I've had a lot of (new) buyers recently that haven't marked it received/completed,
let alone leaving feedback.

  Hi everybody,

Quick question. I am a seller in Canada and I had an order to United States.
I shipped the order and the buyer had an incorrect ZIP code and the package is
being returned to sender (me). This process takes weeks I was told by Canada
Post. The buyer acknowledge his mistake and I have been transparent through the
whole process. Sent the buyer tracking number, pics, etc. I have even offered
to refund him the amount paid, minus the states sales tax and PayPal fee. I have
not heard back from the buyer after 4 messages and they have been read. What
would you do as a seller? How does the buyer get the sales tax back? Any thoughts
would help. Thanks.

When you do the refund through BrickLink, it automatically calculates the sales
tax as well.
If you did the refund through PayPal, then you have to eat the sales tax portion
as there is no way to refund just that.

Did you also refund the shipping?
That is something that he should cover as it was his mistake.
You may also be hit with a return shipping fee by Canada Post.

Has anyone ever seen a Battlestar build? Is it even possible to build one and
get all the pieces via Bricklink? Talking like USC level, 5-6k pieces? Mini

Original series or the new one?

The first picture is from GBC Germany.
I don't know where I got the files from for it, but they are a few years
old and the website hasn't been updated in a while.
It's about 20,000ish pieces.

The second picture is a version I did.
It's about 2,860 pieces.

There are a few different versions available on the web.

I am getting a wanted list of 344% completed, and I have ran it multiple times
but I am only staying in the over limit range, any tips on how to try to fix
this??

One of the reasons is that the algorithm picked a store called Bulk Discount.
By the name, I’m assuming they sell in larger quantities. So even if you need
just one part, there you have to buy in multiples of 100 or more.

Un-favorite that store and run it again.

When purchasing from a seller in a different country that lists prices in their
own currency, BrickLink figures the amount of my local sales tax based on the
foreign currency, thereby charging me too much sales tax. Case in point, Australian
dollars and Canadian dollars are a greater number (of dollars) than US dollars
for the same amount. The sales tax is my local sales tax and therefore should
be figured based on my local currency. How do we fix this?

Also...
When a seller issues a refund without using BrickLink's refund system, which
refunds the sales tax, how do I as a buyer get that sales tax refunded?

The sales tax is based on a percent, so it isn't going to make a difference.

If this doesn't make sense to you, maybe someone else can explain in further
detail with an example.

value of items in an order = 100
currency exchange rate = 1.3
tax percentage = 0.1

100 * 1.3 * 0.1 = 100 * 0.1 * 1.3

The above is correct, unless you’re saying that the sales tax is calculated based
on the foreign currency amount and then shown as the same figures but in USD.

I found it in a lot it would go in the fake bin but before I ask for a refund
from the seller I would like opinions.

I say real Lego

Agreed. Several older hair/headgear molds (and some relatively newer ones) do
not have the Lego stamp (and some extremely recent ones have almost microscopic
stamps that are really hard to find). I would say this one is probably real Lego.
Unfortunately, I have discarded some from large purchased lots under the assumption
they were fake before eventually deciding to check my own collection and realizing
some of those didn't have the Lego stamp either and I knew them to be real
Lego! The same thing is true of older arms and various other parts. It's
a struggle.

For me it's also the size of the ring for the head stud that looks off. Looks
thicker then it should be to me.

You can also take into consideration that it’s an older part that doesn’t have
many reasons to be faked.
If it was a recent design or very popular it would be more suspicious.
