Maybe this; Wanted-Lists, open the WL you wish, click Apply orders, select which
order...

Warning, said to be buggy/risky, like you may apply twice or more the same order
(then lost the real count), or miss some orders, etc.

Hey thanks for the help. I tried that and its somewhat useful. But I can't
actually use it. Its a strange feature. It doesn't deduct the parts you
applied to a wanted list from the amount in the order, so basically you can apply
the same single part you bought one of in an order, and then apply it to 10 wanted
lists that require the 1 part you bought. So there's no way to know what
is left from an order after you fulfilled one list, making this feature pretty
much useless if you have a few wanted lists you're buying for. sucks.

Also what sucks is that you can't merge several wanted lists together into
one list if any of the parts overlap. so you can't just make one list.

sigh.

Anyways thanks.

It would still be great to get the button back that I was asking for originally,
thats the only way I can think of to manually edit all the wanted lists with
the the order all at once.

This is a mess =(

Hey!

There's a screen you get after you finish a purchase where the buyer thanks
you for your purchase, if paying with paypal its after you go to paypal and then
click confirm pay here on bricklink. There's a button to "Update Wanted
List" so you can change what your wanted list is after your recent purchase.
I don't know how to go back to that screen. It doesnt seem to be available
from the "My orders" area. I only have ever seen it right after the
purchase. Does anyone know how to get back to that option/screen?

I need to edit my wanted list(s). I made a purchase of over 400 lots for parts
in around 10 different wanted lists, and when you get to this "update wanted
list" screen, it only shows the items you just purchased, so you can edit
the various wanted lists all from one screen.

Also, FYI, I lost the screen after trying to save a huge error I made by delteing
the first 100 lots of the 400 lot purchase, losing all the notes to what sets
all the parts went to (after weeks of sorting parts trying to find what set is
missing what). I dont know how you all manage your wanted lists, but what I
normally do is I write down each part I'm missing in a document for each
set, then I delete the items in my wanted lists as I purchase the parts, having
zero information about where all the parts go in bricklink - only in my document.
What I did this time is try to keep all my missing parts listed in wanted lists
for each set or a group of sets. Then I was supposed to make a copy of the wanted
lists to keep for after the parts arrive so I knew where all the parts went to.
But I accidentally (At 3 am after the purchase) did something stupid that deleted
the first page of 100 lots in this purchase, and kept sloppily making error after
error, now I have no idea where those parts go - for potentially up to 100 sets
I'm trying to make complete, its a huge mess.

I am adding in this FYI section because I'm also wondering how you people
manage this issue. How do you write a wanted list so you know what items you're
looking for, then edit/delete items you purchase out of it as you purchase them
from multiple sellers. If you don't edit/delete them, then you don't
know what you just bought and buy them again from other sellers. But then how
do you manage what set is missing what, since if you just delete your wanted
lists after you buy everything you need - how do you know where it all goes?
Whats a good system for that?

Sort of, we just decided they'd enter in their paypal (which is connected
to their credit card) to pay me for a job. Nothing strange here =) I just forgot
that you can choose your paypal information once you get the invoice. I was
afk a bit after I figured out how to do it and we made our first purchase already,
so its all set up for the designer program purchase tomorrow.

I thought them buying it with paypal would be easiest. Plus I do a ton of lego
busines (was around 4k/mo) and I was concerned about transferring more money
to me then spending it again, in terms of tax issues. Easier this way I think!
Plus its a family member and on top of discounting them 50% or more for the
work, I'm not even going to charge/use what they owe me =)

Hey Chili! I've ordered from you a few times and I am not ignoring anyone.
I even sent several personal messages to people thanking them for their help.

I got the issue figured out. I haven't made an order in like 6 months because
I just moved from the address you've shipped me probably 3 packages to, to
the midwest. I forgot that you actually put in the payment information after
you get the invoice (stupid, I know). I did a bunch of work for some family
here and thought it would be fun if they just bought me some lego (the new ones
tomorrow) instead of paying me. I'll probably only spend ~1500 not the full
2000 and call it a deal.

Just thought it would be fun for them to just buy the lego instead, nothing nefarious.


Anyways, nice to hear from you again! Look forward to a cool youtube movie I'm
making featuring all the space sets from classic through exploriens! I've
been planning to message a thank you to all the people I've bought from on
here and share the video with them. But I'm still in the filming phase!

I haven't ordered anything in a while, maybe I'm just confused. I just
placed this order to see what would happen, and now I'm waiting on an invoice.
I guess the issue is I have to pay later when I get the invoice, and i can select
this other paypal account at that time. I think other sellers calculate the
shipping right away and you pay immediately, and if the seller is set up that
way I guess I'd have had to pick my paypal account right then.

Sorry I think I just confused for a minute. Just making sure things go smoothly
for tomorrow's purchase, lol.

It seems to know my paypal information - I assume I have my paypal address saved
in bricklink somewhere?

I tried just now clearing cookies and all saved data and it just knows my account
already.

No idea how to "select" which paypal account to use.

Maybe try to, on the same browser:
— Go on PayPal.com, (maybe unsign,) sign in with your friend’s account.
— Then try the checkout.

Hey! Thanks for the reply, but I don't think I can do that.

Where on bricklink is my paypal information stored? I assume I can just change
that account address on bricklink and then use their account straight away?

  If you are a buyer, what difference does it make which Paypal account you use?
I don't think you have to only use 1 type of payment if you want to purchase
on BL. When I use Paypal for purchases, the website I am on sends me to Paypal
and I sign in / and agree to the purchase. I think if you have a separate log
in for a different account, just use that.

Well I am buying with someone else's paypal account (they owe me some money),
and they're here wtih me and I can't find where I enter in their information
anywhere? I have about a $2000 credit with this person and am doing a test buy
from someones store now so I can make sure I can buy the designer program sets
tomorrow, and I can't find anywhere where I choose what paypal account to
use.

On the checkout with the test purchase, I only see
"paypal onsite" as an option. And the currency type.

For shipping I could potentially change the address, but not even the email address
is changeable in checkout. So where do I enter in the paypal address I'd
like to use?

Hey! I recently had an issue with my paypal account and want to use a different
paypal account to make some purchases (or use stripe with a different debit card?).
I can't find anywhere where you enter in your own paypal information for
making purchases. I've made ~350 purchases and always used the same account,
so I've never explored this.

There used to be a banner at the top of the main page that allowed you to click
and browse the upcoming bl designer program. But now that is gone. Where do
you find the designer program? It feels like they're hiding it from the
mainpage. The only way I can find it is if I do a google search for it and it
brings up: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/main.page

But that seems pretty strange to me. Does anyone know where to click on the bricklink
website to get to that page?

Also, just out of curiosity, will these be available on the lego.com page or
just here on bricklink? Any idea if you get insider points for it as well?

Hello!
I have a great collection of castle sets for sale. It is every set from the
classic era through fright knights. I'm flexible on removing a few sets
if you're interested and already have them.

All castle sets are on sale now, for ~1250 cheaper than I have them ready to
list on ebay, and 2% off what I have them priced at. I'm also negotiable
with the price, but prefer to get around what I have it listed at.

She wanted me to invest in crypto, and proceeded to lose 60% of her money, while
getting mad at me for buying lego, which almost doubled in value. Yet she's
still upset I bought lego - she just wanted her partner to do something a little
more glorious or something. Pff.

Hey! Yes. That is what I did for the last two collections. I am still in the
process of figuring out the inventory. I figured I could just make a super lot

Hello!

Some sellers cannot sell to nearly HALF of the USA! Your default setting is
"Seller will not ship to --STATE--" and you CANNOT buy from them. This
is because they do not have the options to "pay onsite" or something like
that. PLEASE CHANGE THIS. Create a different invoice that adds the tax to the
sellers "fees" but puts it in the invoice so the seller can bill the buyer.
DO NOT STOP people from buying!!!

Thank you, please change this, there are parts that aren't available from
people who haven't changed this.

The worst part about it is the SELLERS ARE UNAWARE THIS IS HAPPENING TO THEM!

Please put in a temporary fix until sales tax is figured out completely.
