This has been a pain point for many users, and while work arounds do exist, it
is frustrating that this still exists.
I'd love to see the Wanted List code updated to allow the easy combination
of several Wanted Lists into a single new Wanted list while maintaining the existing
lists, and also the ability to easily modify the quantity of elements on existing
wanted lists. If the element appears in the wanted list in more than one color
it's a pain to try to add it in my experience. When I try to modify the quantity
I get an error message.

I'm not a complete newbie user, but am not a power user by any means and
don't have the spare time to become one.

I love the addition of Collections to the database. My suggestion is that there
should be some form of quick add when you click on the pop-up of the minifigure
or part. It would save the extra step of navigating the product page and inputting
it in your collection.

Another suggestion would be to have some sort of check mark when you look up
pieces and figures in the database, so you can make a quick determination of
what you have in your collection and what you still need. An example would be
looking up Avatar minifigures and seeing that you have 6 of the figures in your
collection (and if you wanted to complete your collection would need to get the
rest).

Thanks!

you should make it so that if you have all the thing you want to buy in your
cart the you should be able to add up all the prices into one price and add tax
and shipping and all that together that would REALLY make a change and would
really be helpfull pls and thank you.

Hello, I often use the part out function to create an individual wanted list
for a set. Then I delete the parts I already/still have and finally I have an
actual wanted list to complete my set.

Part Out allows you to part out minifigs as individual parts and I can chose
to include extra parts. But unfortunately, counterparts are not included.

I would love to have the opportunity to include them as well or even replace
them with the individual regular parts while creating the wanted list. Mostly
this ist related to sticker parts. When I complete a set, I need the counterparts
with stickers on, not the plain parts.

Right now, I have to add each counterpart manually after creating the wanted
list and delete the plain regular parts.

Is it possible to add an function "include counterparts" in the Part
Out process?

Just like mini figures. But with their own category. This is especially important
for sets like Disney in Jurassic World and I’m sure many others.

I've been browsing through all the minifig torsos and now my hand hurts from
having to click on each picture one by one to enlarge them. Would it be possible
to add an option to see the list with larger thumbnails? It would be particularly
helpful when browsing through printed parts.

I've tried zooming in with my browser, but the pictures get too blurry and
I have to scroll the page from left to right, so it doesn't help.

I don't know if this feature exists at the site and I just don't know
about it, but it would be convenient being able to assemble a "shopping list"
similar to adding things to a cart, and then search for sellers having all the
items on the list. Buying from multiple sellers increases cost due to separate
shipping from each seller, so I try to order all my parts from a single seller
when shopping. However, finding a seller having all the parts I'm looking
for in the quantities I want is a tedious task.

Hi Amazing BrickLink People

When in the "Sellers Selection Page there is a "More Options" button
that enable us to select a specific country.
That button is on the Right Hand Side.

Could it PLEASE be placed on the Left Hand Side.

The Page opens on the Left Hand Side.
The Country Select Button is on the Left Hand Side.
The number of items per page is on the Left Hand Side.
Just about everything is on the Left Hand Side.
Having the More Options" button on the Right Hand Side means we need to keep
going back and forth across the screen - on a phone this is particularly annoying.

Even the "Search" button could be placed on the Right Hand Side.
There is plenty of room there that is not already taken by anything else.

Also, can the "number of items per page" default to a much higher number
- 25 is way too low - I always change it to 500

Huge Thanks

Michael

When we message a buyer about an order a copy goes through to the in house messaging
system and we can monitor the outbox to see if they read the message. Can Drive
Thru messages be sent this way too?

I have a buyer who must not be checking their junk/spam mail and hasn't said
a thing until yesterday when they sent me a message verifying if I had received
payment and if we were good to go. ... The package and drive thru message were
sent on Monday for Friday delivery.

They read (but did not respond to) questions I had prior to shipping, so I know
they are at least checking messages here. But it would be helpful to know if
they're reading everything, and the only way to do that is through the BL
messaging system.

This one in my opinion is the most important discussion we could have. It seems
almost perfect if you automatically remove or give us the option to remove all
items in our wanted lists that we purchase, immediately after purchasing those
items.

I got in trouble the other day placing an order because I sorted my Wanted List
by "Have", going Up. This showed me the items I had the least of first,
as it should.

Where I cam undone was there were several items that my "Have" was large
but my "Want" was even larger. These got buried way down towards the
bottom of the list, and I didn't notice they were there.

Adding (with a very simple bit of math) a "Need" value, and being able
to sort a Wanted List by it would allow users to prioritise those items they
need the most of.

Thanks for your time

It would be a big help if a default country could be added to the choices in
site wide search settings.

I would imagine many others are the same and only buy from sellers within their
country, for speed and the lack of customs questions.

Its frustrating to have to change the country each time I search, I should've
mentioned this years ago.

If i've missed something please do let me know but mine is set as anywhere
all the time!

Thanks

I only have a small store with limited storage space so I can't drop all
new parts into fresh drawers. While verifying, except for a few high volume items,
I have to find existing stock in other colours and consolidate new stock in the
same draw. I then use remarks to keep track of the draw numbers.
At 2am today, having almost finished logging a couple of 2000 peice sets, while
moving between screens, instead of switching tab, I closed the one with the almost
complete verification and so losing all the remarks. I now have to go back through
the whole process again but this time laboriously and methodically opening draws
and then finding the corresponding parts in the list.
I can't believe that a process that can take hours to do, has no built in
protection from accidents.

I would like the function that I can select the checkbox in the inventory: "Set
all parts with a quantity of X to a discount of X%"
What do you think about the idea?
Greetings Henk

Ich hätte gerne die Funktion, dass ich im Inventar die Checkbox auswählen kann:
"Setze alle Teile mit einer Stückzahl von X auf Rabatt von X"
Was haltet ihr von der Idee?

I like to buy the correct variants, I try to list the correct variants too. Sometimes
(a) variant might be 0.05c and the (b) variant can be $2

there are a growing number of sellers listing the (a)0.05c part variant in the
(b)$2 variant category and then writing they have a variant policy (basically
they don't sort the variant) but this is clearly a deceptive policy
because they will 99% be selling the (a) variant in the more expensive (b) variant
category to maximise profits.

This is very annoying firstly because when I buy the parts, I want the correct
parts, sometimes I have to buy the part two or three times before I get the actual
correct part/variant I want, if a set comes with (a) I want (a) not (b), if I
wanted (b) I would buy from the (b) listing!,

should I have to email the seller every time asking if it is indeed correct,
It kind of slows down the ordering process a lot

and secondly it effects the analytics of the value of the correct variant.

I missed the conversation about "what sellers want" a few weeks ago -
but - Is there a way to enter a set number to see how many parts from it you've
sold? All the data seems to be here on the site already;

- Set number parted out
- All parted entered in to inventory
- cost per part
- price per part

Just seems to be missing the "sold" portion which is over in the price
guide, but also seems to be limited to six months worth of data (which is probably
why this idea can't be implemented).

I know this seems like a lot, but I think if we can start adding pictures of
the back of the minifigures as secondary images, it will add a lot of great reference
material, and it will give BL users the opportunity to really help out if they
want to! I want to help, but there really isn’t much left that I can do! Just
a random idea from yours truly! What do y’all think?

Since marketplace tax inception, there have been countless posts about sellers
not understanding why they can't change an order to Paid/Shipped etc when
they've received payment by PayPal offsite. This is not impacting only small
sellers. The following two very recent threads are from a small store, and a
very large store:

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1395788

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1398000

As it obviously not clear to many, especially those who have been around for
a while and have previously had no problems accepting any kind of offsite payment
such as e-transfers, cash, direct PayPal payments, etc... It would be beneficial
to have a warning at the top of an order page to the seller to say that this
order has automatic tax collection on it, and should not be shipped if payment
was received offsite as payment must be made onsite (and a link to the page explaining
marketplace tax collection). This primarily impacts manual invoices.

Even that I'm not sure will catch 100% of these issues, but it could help
reduce them, and provide more awareness for sellers. Of course, if everyone used
100% IC a lot of these issues could also be alleviated, but BL does not have
any of the features of a more robust marketplace for handling shipping (such
as API integration with shipping partners, or even more granular shipping table
control). Speaking as a Canadian seller, our country alone has the most vast
variance of shipping rates I think I've ever seen, and we can't even
break down by province (which isn't granular enough either anyways due to
remote postal codes).

Long-term, I believe that more development on the shipping side for sellers could
alleviate many of the residual issues for more IC adoption. But a short-term
warning on these orders could cutdown a lot of the headache for both sellers
and BrickLink.

Hey all! I would love to see a filter option for stickers. I know ReBrickable
has the option as a checkbox and it is very nice to use, especially for identifying
pieces from a used lot.
Or maybe the search engine has this functionality and I'm missing something?

Thanks!

This has got to be fixable.

Every now and then, (usually after restarting my computer) bricklink will not
recognize my login information.

I then have to go into my browser, and clear out the bricklink cookies.
Then I can log in as usual.

Surely there is something that can be done about this. It seems like such a
silly problem to have.

On the bright side, now I go through, and clear out all unwelcome cookies from
other sites at the same time, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.

I know it would take some time to develop, but having an iPad optimised version
of Stud.io would be amazing! The touchscreen would make some tasks much easier,
and it would mean you wouldn’t be tied to your desk. You could work on the go.
