This is simply obsolete and even illegal in many places.
Especially as BrickLink doesn't display a button "Click here to pay for
an order and have 90% chance to receive it! (and agree)".
So, you can't be sure buyer has even seen or thought at the risk he's
taking.
No, distant selling isn't a game anymore; just talk about this with PayPal,
you'll see

If I want someone to ship without insurance, I'm going to benefit from that
and if it doesn't work out, I'm going to hold THEM responsible for my
choice?
All this would do is dry up the sellers willing to ship to save me money
