A new brick would be interesting for the high end.

What Lego color for such a special brick designation, can you envision?

-Thanks

I know the question wasn't pointed at me, but Metallic Gold first came to
mind, but might look too much like the low-class yellow. Perhaps Metallic Silver.
Some special color.

Or the "Chrome" colors? Chrome Black is extremely special and beautiful imho.
But perhaps too serious. How about one of the other Chrome colors?

YES.

You can sell instruction books -- even from current sets.
But they must be original books printed by LEGO and not reproductions.

You can also sell instructions for custom sets designed by you or with authorization
from the original designer (no stolen designs).

If instruction books is ALL you wish to sell, that is fine, too.

Good Luck, Have Fun, and sell lots of stuff.

90509 Minifigure, Utensil Ski 6L (47mm Long)
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil

The skis with numbers 28922 and 18744 are 1mm longer in length than mold number
90509, 48mm to 47mm, respectively. Although the three have their studs in the
same location from the rear of the ski, the hand ridges are slightly higher up
and the pointed ends are longer on the newer molds.

I will consider a split of this part into 90509 and 18744/28922.

More importantly, I wanted more eyes on the updates linked in my OP to ensure

Regular transfer for me is always 1 business day. Didn't see anything else
that would warrant concern.

I will say I think it is important to offer PP and Stripe as some people feel
strongly about one of them.

I think this might be set to "and" not "or"

I didn't see anything in there effecting receiving money, but I just glanced

Anyone else see anything that may impact our stores or our customers?

Ima start siphoning all my lego profits into ebay and paypal stock. Then whenever
I see they are raising fees, there will be a silver lining.

gray... Can anyone tell me if there is some old gray ... or if thoose lego pieces
are bad and just to through?

Thanks in advance
Johan

That wedge doesn't seem to be existing in dark gray color,
Brick 2 x 2 x 3 seems to be existing in two sets in dark gray color, you can
check if there are additional distinctive parts in your bulk lot
75 2 x 2 x 3 slope (if I'm seeing right) will tell it's age if it has
solid studs or hollow studs... according to catalog it doesn't exist in dark
gray color with solid studs...

ps: I might be wrong in any or all of the above guesses since it's just 1.5
years that I'm into Lego.

Comments from Submitter:
This is the non-US version of this set, also sold under set number 2650-1 in the US. I will attach a photo of a listing of this set that I found online, it is from a UK seller.

Note: There seems to be an inconsistency issue with these cows on Bricklink. Not only are some of these cows under 'Rust' but a number of these are under 'Dark Orange', which was not around until 1994. I have suggested moving many of these cows from the 70s and 80s to 'Rust' as a way to circumvent having to create a new color on Bricklink for TLG 13 Red Orange. After all, if some cows are already under BL Rust, then why not move the rest over?

There was already an old request to add the Rust Cow, sorry!

Recently bought this set complete with original box which shows inventory and quantity of parts. A picture of this set with these changes can be seen on the internet or I could send photos.

This set is the same as the USA version

Set No: 2650 Name: Farm
*
2650-1 (Inv) Farm
61 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 1980
Sets: DUPLO: DUPLO, Town: Farm

I found several images on the internet of both sets boxed. All parts are the
same. The set has indeed 7 blue bricks. All animals have solid black eyes and
the color of the cow is rust. Box front, as well as parts list on box, as well
as parts pictured show indeed the yellow frame with door, instead of 4253c04.
But I also found sets with this red frame. One of them is for sale on Bricklink.

This set was produced 1980-1984. Giving the timeline of parts I will remove the
dark orange cow and keep 4253c04 as alternate for both sets.

My PayPal account was permanently closed down when I sold a set. They didn't
ask for anything. When I checked their resolution center my account was about
to be closed for violating some policy. I gave the guy who bought my stuff a
refund and that worked, but I can't send and recieve any money. I will speak
to PayPal next week to see what I did wrong.

  Hey

I wonder if someone else have problems with Paypal.

I am a new seller on BrickLinks and just a couple weeks ago started to take orders
from other EU countries. When I got my first order and payment by paypal, it
almost locked my paypal account. I had to deliver alot of information to them
to get my money.

- A picture of my ID
- A copy of the invoice
- A picture of the Lego I sold
- A copy of the receipt of the payment of delivery
- A copy of receipt/invoice where i purchased my lego
- And I had to explain for them why I sold Lego
(I think there was something more I had to provide to them)

Ok after this i could finally transfer the money to my bank account.

The second payment worked just fine

The third payment was placed on hold (reserved money) for 21 days. They told
me to give them the tracknumber of package and what service I used. Didnt work,
money is still on hold.

The fourth payment is again on hold.

Does anyone else have these problems with PayPal? has anyone solved all and actually
have Paypal workin just fine?

I need advice

One intriguing question - how a buyer could lower the prices of the bricks in
a checkout (no coupons, no tier prices) vs the ones we still have on offer? Is
this some kind of system error?

I mean, buyer bought 1x2 DBG bricks, eg. 70 pieces for price 0,15 USD each, whereas
the other bricks that still left in my store costs 0,20 USD each (no price change
in the meantime, nada). How is that possible then?

any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

It probably is be VAT related. Once you activate a VAT in your store this is
how pricing goes:

Base store prices include 23% VAT. Prices shown to buyers located inside the
European Union include VAT, outside the European Union excluding VAT depending
on the buyer's country.

YES, the thing is that a buyer is from non-EU country and it's a VAT-related
topic. Thank you guys for all hints and final resolution of doubts!

All the figs that I bought in that order have the wrong sold price. I know what
I paid and the guide seems wrong.

I think this is a good read of the problem:

https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=290050

It is a tough problem, I suggested adding an indicator to PG sold items when
it was with/without VAT.

Seems they turned back the change I started that discussion for.

But your seems a strange case, as since that post it was not reverted back, just
checked a couple of recent orders:

I assume I must have imagined this, but I thought there was an option somewhere
within the Wanted Lists section to search your own inventory for items, to the
extent that I'm sure I've seen a link/button captioned "Find Items in
My Inventory".

Now that I have my first opportunity to use it, I can't find it anywhere.
I can see an option within Inventory to show items on wanted wists, but this
doesn't show which list or allow filtering for "have" quantities.

Alternatively, is there an option I'm missing to search a set inventory for
items already on a wanted list, similar to the option to search against an order
number? This would allow the same results for me.

Thanks!

I agree it should be what the buyer paid no matter all the other stuff. If they
were $17.66 I would not of bought them so now it appears I paid that even though
I did not. It may lead others to think they are selling for more.

Yeah, seems bogus inserting the projected base price which includes VAT for the
EU store, and not the actual sold price as is presented.

Found this in a mixed batch. I've got a feeling it's from some unbranded
Transformers brick set looks like Transformers logo above face but wanted to
check before it went in the charity pile.

Anyone recognise? Can't find anything like this in catalogue.

Cup for scale.

Copper was only for the noble Huna and Komau. You can still find those.

Bionicle Copper != Copper

Yeah, but it's the only Copper in Bionicle.

A 22.3% difference… looks like VAT (and some, or minus some).

You said “not Euro,” but still from EU, no?

If seller is VAT-registered, their prices show VAT in the PG, whether the VAT
was collected or not (and it’s not collected for non-EU buyers).

(Works for UK too.)

It is in your store settings. Go to My Store , top of the page, click on Settings
(under Account). Then click Management and under store currency , change it back
to whatever you had before. Then click "save changes" at bottom of page . I
would then check your store to see if the changes took place. If not, try clearing
your cache, and logging in and out.

Comments from Submitter:
Pre-2010 Silver = Pearl Light Gray.

I will follow this post with a photo, but it is quite grainy. Is it safe to assume that every other version of this puzzle includes Reddish Gold swords if this one does? These aren’t exactly the easiest to find.

To change the last copper swords I would like to see definitive proof from at
least one original game/set (language version doesn't matter).
They are not that rare here in Europe, I'm sure we will find one sooner or
later.

Luckily it is a cheap head so not a big deal and I wouldn't bother the seller

a damaged part if there was no way they could know it was damaged. You have to
use it to know. A minifig head should surely last more than a fraction of a second
when assembled, so it was obviously substandard.

That makes it a head dual-sided on one side?

Maybe I should sell it as a custom Two-face from Batman.

You can check if the Lot ID is the same, hover with the mouse on the image of

Any help?

Looks fine to me, at least for UK parts orders. Strangely I had a couple of parts
in my cart already, presumably intending to look around properly at some point,
and it shows them as 2nd class large letter at £2.10.

Comments from Submitter:
Just parted-out this set. These wires added by axaday are the same as those I request to add to this set.
For example, the length of wire alone for 766c23 is about 18-19cm. I compare it with 766c28 from my personal collection and they are almost of the same length. As a note, the length of wires were never that exact. I have tested wires of 5 copies of 7722 from my personal collection and the length of wires of max length and min length were about 2cm different.

You want to change a 23 studs wire to a 28 studs wire, saying that your wire
is (also) about 18-19 cm. But 28 studs is 22.4 cm and 23 studs is 18.4 cm

You say the difference between minimum and maximum length is about 2cm.
Which means:
- a 22.4 cm wire (28 studs) can be 21.4 - 23.4 cm
- a 18.4 cm wire (23 studs) can be 17.4 - 19.4 cm

Personally I think a difference of 1cm either way, is already a big difference.

Could you please check all 3 wires in your set 9605-2 and measure the
length of the complete wire in centimeters (so including the pieces that
are in the connectors)?

Reading also the other post of this set, you are saying your wires in set 9605-2
are

Thanks,
Diana

The 3 wires above and the 3 wires in the inventory are:
- duplicates of each other, or
- alternates of each other, or
- the inventory is correct as it is

Either way, this request can not be approved.

I did my best to determine if these 3 are all duplicates, by messaging both submitters.
So far I only received the length of 1 wire out of six during 2 weeks.

If we want all electric wires in the catalog to be correct, we really need information
about the length of these wires in centimeters. We also need to know if this
length is of the total wire (including piece of wire in connectors) or if
it's measured from connector to connector (length between connectors).

The bionicle toa mata masks no longer seem to be available to list in the color
copper. I know the copper masks exist (separate from "bionicle gold"), I used
to own some and they're very easy to find on Ebay, but now I can't even
select copper as a color for these parts. What happened?

Copper was only for the noble Huna and Komau. You can still find those.

Bionicle Copper != Copper

Not me. I like it, though!

Maybe add it to the catalog? The question is where? Under Gear - Super Mario
(Co-Branding: Nintendo) but beyond that: Keychain or Retail Display Case?

The only thing that makes me think the feedback should be removed by BrickLink
is the fact that they literally said in their feedback that they were the one
to break the part. If the part had just been broken when it arrived or even if
the buyer didn't say how it broke I agree that BrickLink shouldn't make
any decision on that. But they wrote it right in the feedback that it wasn't
broken until they assembled the figure.

Either way, I've done as much as I can. I hope they change their feedback
when they get the torso.

I hope they change it too, as you have clearly done all you can to rectify it.

The way I read the feedback is that it broke when they assembled the figure,
not that they broke it. Like the head I mentioned earlier, there is often no
way to check if the torso is cracked without assembling it so neither buyer
or seller would know until the buyer assembles it. If it was a rorso crack, they
can be invisible until you slot in the legs. Does that mean the buyer broke it
But? But if BL come up with a new policy of feedback removal in cases like this
then either they get the reputation that BL remove buyer feedback if a buyer
complains or the complaint would change - for example, here that it arrived cracked.
I doubt many (any?) sellers stress test every part before sending them so would
not know for sure that the new part they sold was or wasn't faulty.
