The blue Emmet part id 15443 is fake.
As some know area 2018 6-7 types of headgears and hairs popped up in 5 similar
colors , all with same partnr 95222 inside. With the lego logo and copyright.
I never checked then the partnr, as it had a logo, but the color blue was a bit
off color, also more friction then other hairs.

You're saying you have a part with the Lego logo on it that is nevertheless
fake?

I had it, but as die hard collector I've put it out of my hands. But yes
sadly. We live in a corrupt world.

I have no interest in these things at all but if it has the Lego logo why would
it be a fake?
Prototypes are prototypes for a reason, they can be (slightly) different of shape,
color, consistency etc.

No these are called qparts, non production parts. Prototypes nearly never having
a partnumber. I've seen only +- 30 prototypes and only like 2 had a partnumber.
These are added on the very final stage.

But you missed a part on my first message. There 4 different types of headgear
and 2 hairs that ALL having the same partnumber 95222. Which is impossible as
every part have a different ID. All 6 these parts came in blue, dark blue, brown
and lb gray. Slightly different off color and they having issues pulling them
of a head. Genuine lego qparts don't have this issue. You also don't
find this many same colors on different modern parts. Only red or lb gray as
they test the new mould in these colors. These popped up 5 years ago. Not much
info to be found. I'm sure TLG is aware of this.

Sigh... a low feedback buyer's account, not used in ages and then with just
one recent feedback for selling. That's a recipe for fraud if ever I saw
one!

I know, but honestly I thought that Bricklink was free of any scams... evidently
I was wrong. Do you think I can manage to get my money back?

BrickLink is an open marketplace. You need to look out for yourself! Good thing
you used Paypal.

Read feedback. Read terms. If an offer is too good to be true, it is usually
too good to be true. Don't buy rare or expensive items from sellers with
no experience.

Hello Roxanne,

It's always nice, your appearance here in the forum

As to the print anomaly, which is what I believe we're looking at here: The
face print has spanned eight years of production over who knows how many locations
around the world.

Side note: In exchange for my input, I'll accept some new pics of that magnificent
monster of a canine of yours, the wolfhound

Thanks for your input! I will list them together.

Benz, the Irish Wolfhound passed away a few years ago.

Sorry to hear it. It's a shame that the dog so entwined in our life, has
a lifespan a fraction of ours. Always seemed one of those inexplicable injustices
too me.

I'm looking for a new one if anyone knows of a reputable breeder.

"reputable breeder" sounds like euphemism for something less reputable

Thanks again!

Yes, the cubes were only given out as gifts.
I am interested for how much the cubes are going for on sale platforms, and how
much are they worth right now.

This is getting out of hand.

I'm not sure it is.

Since 2000 there always have been hack attempts (I guess), actual hacks (few
we
know of), and shops hacked one way or the other (social engineering, trojan +
keyb hook, hack another site use the same password...)

This is getting out of hand.

If this kind of activity persists TLG may have to step in. 😬
The fact that YouTube would allow that ad is also questionable.

Very good odds if it was through paypal goods and services. I once bought a pair
of fishing reels from a sketchy website and they never sent them, so I filed
an item not received case via paypal, and then whoever was on the other end did
upload a tracking number, but the random number they uploaded said delivered
to a completely different address in another state, and I pointed that out in
my response and paypal sided with me.

After 10 years here on Bricklink I may have been a late adopter, but I don't
ever want a printout (business card, sticker, or any advertisements) with my
order.

All my orders get a simple 1/2" x 2" sticker on the plastic bag with
a hand written order number for reference.

As far as their sale prices, I doubt there was a price. Promotional items like

A year ago, on the internet, I found some very rare and unknown Lego sets: the
Lego Batman Movie Promotional Cubes.
I became very interested about their history.

They are cubic dioramas, similar to the Cubedude sets, with four or five Minifigures
inside and a small build representing a scene from the movie.
There are a few diferent designs and they were gifts from Warner, given out on
a few diferent occasions and promotions. The attached photos are examples these
cubes.

Despite many hours of reaserch, because of their rarety, I coudn't find much
info.

I am asking for ANY further information about these 2017 Lego Batman Movie Promo
Cubes.

Any information would be appreciated.
Including: photos of the Cubes or their original boxes or accessories,
any links mentioning these Cubes, old sales and their sale prices,
if someone actually owns one or saw one and indeed any other infomation.

No spam messages, please!

  Hi,
Actual dims given for this set seems to be the box dims, not the model dims.

I can give exact measurement, verified on a real model : verified on Stud.io
But this Castle has different display configurations, which changes dims a lot.
I dont know which one you want to put in the database.

Display parameters :
- open/close the walls (positions of the 3 base plates)
- open/closed drawbridge: change 3cm on the depth
- position of some parts: baseplates angles, flags orientation, pin connector
(may vary ~1.5 cm)

The photo display on the box & catalog shows: walls closed / drawbridge open
config

Measurements verified on a real model: (Width x Height x Depth)
walls open / drawbridge open: 65 x 24 x 29 cm
walls open / drawbridge closed: 65 x 24 x 26 cm

Measurements verified on Studio:
walls open / drawbridge open: 62.4 x 24.2 x 29.5 cm
walls open / drawbridge closed: 62.4 x 24.2 x 24.2 cm
walls closed / drawbridge open: 27.6 x 24.2 x 34.3 cm (as seen on the box/catalog)
walls closed / drawbridge closed: 27.6 x 24.2 x 31.2 cm

All set dimensions in the catalog are based on set contents in a brand-new sealed
package. This was made this way to ensure a consistent system that could simply
be used across all sets. All of the measurements you list above for different
scenarios is why it is this way.

about the likelihood of receiving a refund. I am aware that if the seller fails
to ship the package, I can fill out a Non-Shipping Seller form. However, how
optimistic should I be about getting my money back?
Thank you, everyone, for your assistance.

File a case on Paypal and submit a chargeback on the cc for the rest.

Since you paid thru PayPal you should be good. PayPal has very good buyer protection
so your claim will likely go thru without issue

that he no longer has access to Bricklink and has not received any payment. Coincidentally,
the store was closed this morning, and its location has been relocated from France

Upon discovering this, I promptly contacted PayPal and submitted a refund request.
Additionally, I reached out to my bank to block the payment, as one half of it

The store is now suspended, contact the BL helpdesk/admins.

I am on phone with Paypal currently. They are aware of the issue. It may be
a few days before it is fully up and running again. Being a 3rd party, Shipstation
still does not have customer support but they are looking into it.

My suggestion in below link would aid you in comparing which minifig to choose
for each species but sadly it hasn't yet been implemented (if it ever will?)

  Hi,
Actual dims given for this set seems to be the box dims, not the model dims.

All set dimensions are based on box sizes, as that is the size of the item when
shipping it. You don't post built sets.

I do not contest that the information is relevant, it is already on the *box
entry*
(top-right links: Set Entry | Instructions Entry | Original Box Entry)

From a buyer's perspective, it seems relevant to me to find the dimensions
of a set on its Set Entry.
In the same way as in an Ikea catalog, display picture of furniture with its
finished dimensions, in order to figure the product. The packing details are
a question that arises next.

Built dimensions for sets are not something that bricklink records, though. Not
for this set, or any set.

What "problems" more specifically?

I'll be anticipating along side you, such a list supplied here in the BL

characters (by extension, their species) produced within the Star Wars canon.

I would suggest trying not to go too far, as these kinds of collections can quickly
become massive money pits.

One minifig of each sound like a good compromise.

Wow, impressive that in some places you can smell the internet.

Yep, smells like frustration and wasted time

My internet just went down just as the 50% off sale ended, was barely able to
end the sale with cellar data.

That was close, router is on the outs so orders may take longer to process.

Sale is STILL ON.

I love the BL search, but i was wondering if we can get a check mark box to the
left of Wishlist heart?
Once we order the part, we can place a check or x in the box to prevent re-ordering
the same parts multiple times. I am trying to complete 6 sets at the same time
to save on shipping, but have found myself ordering the same part several times.
I understand I can do a better job of looking, but a check box would be useful.

The other item I wish to ask for, is to have a line item on the final order (what
we see when we click on the order number) is for a line to state which set this
part ordered came from, similar to the wishlist. or we can add in the set numbers
under the lego item number, prior to making payment. This would allow a better
end user experience.

Any way to upvote this or bring this to the attention of the creators?

Hi, I am new to Bricklink and am still learning how it works. I have many old
sets from my son, all from the late 90's and am trying to put them all together.
I have the instruction books for about 98% but am finding the books differ from
the set inventories on this site. For instance the Flame Chaser Helicopter #6531.
I have been using this reference to find all the pieces needed but now am concerned
that the instructions I have differ from the inventory I have been collecting.
Not really sure what my question is,, but am concerned the pieces don't
add up to the instruction books I have. I came online as some of the pieces were
difficult to see very well and was unsure of the colors needed. Why would these
differ from the instructions?
Hope this makes sense

That is one particularly difficult set to inventory. See note in Rebrickable,
which accounts for more variations (one of which I have!):

I textet him to ask why he sold them as new and what he suggested to fix this

The reply was very rude: The figures were in good condition before shipping,
it is not his problem if the post office broke the figures.

In his shop the figures are still listed as new (now with description:
No cracks or scratches. Good condition).
I have written to him again and tryed to find a solution, but it looks difficult.
He just wrote: you can change the arms, they are not printed and not expensive

But thats not the problem, they are still not new

My question now:
I never wanted or needed to write someone a neutral or negative feedback,
but this one really deserves one. However, I am afraid that I will get a negative

Is it possible to get revenge Feedback deleted?

Thanks for your help

File a NSS to report that you did not get what you ordered. If that doesn't
get you a refund, file a PayPal claim. Then file negative feedback. Negative
feedback left for you as a buyer in return will not affect your sales, so don't
be afraid to leave it for the seller.

I have a sales tax number which means I do NOT have to pay taxes on product for
resale.

I know this varies by state, but in Florida, retail stores do not have to accept
a Resale Certificate - therefore they charge sales tax.

Additionally there are steps you can take (at least in my State) to try and get
a refund for sales tax on items bought for resale. I've not actually tried
it so I'm not certain if it actually works, but the option is there.

Your stores feedback percentage is not affected by feedback received as a buyer.
The 100% will stay there even if you get a negative feedback as a buyer.

and he told me that he sold the figures cheap.

But thats not the problem, they are still not new

My question now:
I never wanted or needed to write someone a neutral or negative feedback,
but this one really deserves one. However, I am afraid that I will get a negative
feedback from him in revenge. I am still at 100% positive feedback, my store
has almost 1000 orders. I want to keep it that way, and i don't mean the
almost 1000 orders .
Is it possible to get revenge Feedback deleted?

Thanks for your help

Wow, impressive that in some places you can smell the internet.

Yep, smells like frustration and wasted time

  Hi,
I appear to have a tile: 3068pb0029 - Tile 2 x 2 with Space Police II Logo Pattern,
with the red and green colours upside down. I can't see it as a variant in
any of the sets it appears in. I've looked through all the instructions and
it always appears with the red at the top and green on the bottom. Does anyone
know if this is just a misprint? or is this a different part?
Thanks
Dave

Looks like a misprint, where did you find it?

Hi, just in a job lot that I was sorting, so I don’t know which set it originally
came from.

started to do it.

It's not an issue for us as we have an accountant and report all our revenue
through them anyway so we paying the right amount of tax. Just wondering if BL
was also reporting as well though?

They should be reporting it in January 2025, like other sites should. Even if
a public announced procedure is not in place right now, they already have all
the tools they need to do it (number of orders and total sales volume) for 2024.
I imagine it is easiest to assume that they will report this at the end of the
year as they should be doing.

  Hi,
Actual dims given for this set seems to be the box dims, not the model dims.

All set dimensions are based on box sizes, as that is the size of the item when
shipping it. You don't post built sets.

I have a sales tax number which means I do NOT have to pay taxes on product for
resale.

I know this varies by state, but in Florida, retail stores do not have to accept
a Resale Certificate - therefore they charge sales tax.

I do not think we should also have to pay tax when we buy internationally as
well.

Marketplaces (Ebay, BrickLink, etc) are required to collect STATE sales tax based
on the destination. In your case you are paying Minnesota Sales Tax.

As stated before Bricklink is suppose to fix this. They have not.

I agree that BrickLink stated they would implement a Resale Certificate Program
- and have no idea why it is taking so long.

Hey all! 30% off parts 20% off figs, need some quick cash. Thanks for looking.

I will try to ship within 3 days (less on smaller orders) but the weather has
been effecting USPS pick ups.
I can ship internationally starting at $14, please contact me for an invoice.
I have a large amount of tan bricks, plates, and panels in bulk.
Shipping in my store is some of the cheapest throughout bricklink starting at
$3.50 for US based buyers.
I pack and ship with care.

I appreciate any purchase, big or small, thanks for looking!!!

This is a little confusing, do you mean that you are paying Minnesota state taxes
when you make purchases? I am a seller from Canada, and when I get an order from
some of the states, there is a state tax that some folks have to pay. Whether
it comes from the EU, Canada or anywhere, you live in MN so you pay taxes on
your purchases. BL collects those taxes for your state. EU folks have to display
a VAT ID for their business purposes whether you are affected by the VAT or not.
Hopefully I understood correctly and this helps a little?

I have a sales tax number which means I do NOT have to pay taxes on product for
resale. However, Bricklink has not fixed this yet and so we have to pay tax.
I do not think we should also have to pay tax when we buy internationally as
well.

So point is those with a sales tax number should not have to pay taxes anywhere.
As stated before Bricklink is suppose to fix this. They have not. So my question
was why do some international people have the option to give their VAT number
and not pay taxes and the rest of us can't.

Set No: 6531 Name: Flame Chaser
*
6531-1 (Inv) Flame Chaser
50 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1991
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Fire

Read the inventory note at the bottom of this page:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=6531-1

Cheers,
Randy

Thanks, did see that at the bottom but was still a little confused as the instructions
I have state 3 of the small red bricks and 2 single ones to make up the difference
in height, but the 2 smaller ones were not on the inventory list. Oh well, I
will check with this website, which, btw, is awesome, for shapes and colors and
use the instruction manual for parts needed per the version I own.
