I just went through over 200 used and new parts from the category Hose, Rigid
3mm D. (75c03 up to 75c28), and I measured all of them with a ruler. I found
that, for both unconfirmed used hoses and confirmed new ones from sealed sets,
the actual length of the hoses in millimeters were shorter than the lengths listed
in the titles. Nearly every single hose was 0.2 to 0.3 millimeters shorter than
the "official" lengths listed on Bricklink. I confirmed this with other rulers.

Can anyone else confirm this? And if it's normal, perhaps the millimeter
lengths in the titles should be adjusted downward by 0.2mm to be more accurate,
or else changed to be a range, since the hoses often have minor length differences.

I just noticed this key chain in the catalog.
The current name is " 2 x 4 Brick - Satin Black Key Chain".
Should that not be "2 x 4 Brick - Chrome Black Key Chain"?
Or am I mistaken here?

Hi all,

yesterday i recovered my roborider wheel collection from early this century and
decided to sell it.

In the meantime i know about the metallic gold ones (from e. g. promo pack 800010,
see also my store).

What i am still interested in are 2 chrome silver chainsaw wheels (part 32362).

Does anyone know, if these were official parts or just a misprint?
They do not look like some just painted a normal one.

Best regards,
Manfred

But I can only find 973pb0303 in orange.
So how can I add this color?

Hi,
The inventory of the 75939 has been added on june first. but we can not still
part out the set.
I guess Lego do not care about getting fees from Bricklink...
Lego should hire someone who can be responsable for inventories.
Why do we have to make the job of Bricklink and Lego?
Bricklink and Lego should give reward for the people who take their extra time
to register all the sets...

Could someone do something about it?

As far as I remember I have asked it already a few years ago, but I can't
find any trace now.

The sets 31014 and 31041 consist equally 64 parts, the size and proportions are
the same. Why are the categorized differently?

What's the difference between these categories?
- "Catalog: Sets: Creator: Model: Construction:" (31041)
- "Catalog: Sets: Creator: Basic Model: Construction:" (31014)

I'ld like to see a new entry in the catalog for the combination of these:

Gear No: 901956 Name: Dots Sorting Tray - 7 Compartment Small, Lid
*
901956 Dots Sorting Tray - 7 Compartment Small, Lid

and

Gear No: 901957 Name: Dots Sorting Tray - 7 Compartment Small, Bottom
*
901957 Dots Sorting Tray - 7 Compartment Small, Bottom
Gear: Storage, Sorting Tray: Dots
When I'm correct in those cases a new part number is required with the extension
c01. How to proceed?

In a sealed set 4203 I found the red 44301 with and without groove. Is it normal
to have different variations of one part in one set? Should it be noted or is
the Undetermined Type in the inventory enough?

This must have been discussed before but I don't remember anything and I
can't find any postings.

Sets 501-3 and 042-1 don't have an inventory list for the vehicle although
you can often find the vehicle bases and occasionally the blue 3001oldb blue
brick seperately.

Was there a reason for not separating these components, I know the string could
pose a problem.

The 3001oldb red is listed.

I have one brick 3001oldpb03 with on both sides a LUFTHANSA stickers from set
1560, but according to the instructions the stickers had to be on two bricks
3001oldpb03. Is it possible to submit the one brick as a part only and not submit
it to the inventory of set 1560?

I have seen some bricks of sets which were not according to the instructions,
but left in the catalog (of course not in the inventory of the set), like 3009pb213.

Please advice!

Are there LEGO sets with seperate Parts Lists or Inventory Lists?

The Catalog defines packaging and instructions and other books etc.
I would like to know if there are also parts lists?

Thx,

Just a random thought that came to me while sorting pieces...

Has anyone tried to collect, and complete, the parts catalog? In other words,
collecting every part in every know color. It would be an interesting challenge
to say the least.

I noticed that the Cars 3 cars are classified as minifigures. The older ones
for 1 and 2 in 2011 are built in pretty much the same way, but are not minifigs.
How does this make any sense? Should we put the older cars as figs or make
a new listing for the complete car under parts (kind of like how a full dinosaur
goes under parts) so people can find the individual cars easier? Just a thought

Stay safe!

I cant find the catalog entries so i cant upload them. Is there some trick?
All these nummers are also assigned to some single lego parts.

We're considering eliminating separate catalog entries for smooth slopes
for a number of different reasons and are seeking feedback from the community
on the decision. This change would primarily effect the five catalog entries
shown above.

Please share your thoughts.

These cables were manufactured for the 9751 and RCX and their components. However,
in addition to the color of the pieces (yellow, black, blue) and their length
(11, 15, etc.) there are two different materials in the composition of the cable
jacket. One that looks like rubber and that eventually wears off ... and another
that looks like plastic, shiny and that won't spoil. When we buy a cable
we never know if it is one that will be degraded (even if it is sold as new,
it breaks when first used) or it is made of plastic. I propose that there is
a specific identification for each type of cable in terms of its outer sheath.
What do you think of that?

Hello Bricklinkers,

Some minutes ago, I found out that the "Coral" part (49577) is included in the
Plant Section of Bricklink, which is scientifically wrong. Coral is an Animal!

Please check additional information here:
https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/coral.html

I wrote to customer service of Bricklink explaining this mistake. I hope they
change this part to the Animal Water section!

Best,

Rita

Twn270 had a name change in March from Barista to Barista NO Back Print. Twn270a
is listed as an alternate with back print but the printing on the front of the
torso is different.

The inventory for Twn270 lists 973pb2033c01, which has grey shading at the side
of the apron and Twn270a has 973pb3256c01 which doesn't.

Minifig No: twn270 Name: Barista with Gray Shading at Sides

Minifig No: twn270a Name: Barista without Gray Shading at Sides
*
twn270a (Inv) Barista without Gray Shading at Sides

Is there another version of the Barista torso? All the I have have grey shading
like twn270 but they also have the back print. Some are from sets I parted out
a while ago and I've checked 4 others that I have waiting to do and they're
all the same.

I came across some old Duplo bricks and do see where the catalog entry lists
differences for the variations on the connections underneath. Is there merit
in mentioning the 'Pat Pend' connection as it is drastically different?

Does it classify as '3011old'?

It has status "Item is Pending Approval" since June 2nd.
Is it normal for a set to have this long approval time?:/ It is available as
of now in the LEGO shop in Billund.

From the to-do list:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2476

Add Sets Members Want - A project to discuss and possibly add pickable
models, in-store builds, and other similar sets to the catalog...
Project Review: This project traveled directly from under consideration to completed.
There were no existing guidelines discussing these kinds of sets, so no policy
changes were required. Instead, after administrative discussion, the majority
were in agreement to rescind the unwritten rule that prohibited addition of these
sets.
Date first added: December 6th, 2018
Date work began: June 13th, 2020
Goal for completion: July 1st, 2020
Date actually completed: June 17th, 2020
Suggested by: Many members

Maybe this is not so complete as catmins would like to believe it is as it appears
that none of those sets are in the catalogue at this time.
Also:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1204676
seems to be voided now.

So perhaps this project should be set to under consideration again just so the
ball is not dropped and the technical issues, whatever those may be, can be addressed
before the goal date. I would dearly like to believe that BL will eventually
give members what they want.
