I need ideas to make a frame though. I would like to essentially have it put
in a very very thin shadow box frame, though I have no idea how to go about doing
that. The base consist of 4 32 stud stackable baseplates. The mosaic itself consists
of 4096 Dots.

Any ideas of how to create a frame, and/or a shadow box idea would be wonderful.

Take inspiration from official models:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=S&catString=1272

You can get the PDF instructions easily.

(I’m sorry I had to use an Imgur link to add my photos. I’m not sure how to change
the picture file type so it would have been compatible to upload here directly.)

No problem, Imgur doesn’t sell LEGO

Hi,

my first post.
Not sure if it's posted correctly.
I haven't found a better place.

I've done some calculations to get the amount of pieces needed to create
frames for LEGO ART.

Would be great if someone could check and verify these formulars.

The formulars:

Rows (R) x Columns (C) of the new Technic Plates

corners outside: 4
New Technic Plates: R*C
sides inside: R*(C-1) + C*(R-1)
sides outside: R*2 + C*2
corners inside: (R-1) * (C-1)
lanes inside: R-1 + C-1

for part 4162: 4*R + 4*C - 4 = (R*16-8)/4 + (C*16-8)/4

65803: No. of New Technic Plates
3022 white: No. of New Technic Plates
67139: 2
2780: No. of sides inside * 3 + 4
2357: 4
3005: 12
11212: 4
63864: 8
2445: 4
2420 black: 4
2420 red: No. of corners inside

3008: No. of sides outside
2465: No. of sides outside
2458: No. of sides outside * 2
4282: No. of sides outside - 4
3010: No. of lanes inside * 2

4162: 4*R + 4*C - 4
