What you are really requesting is a report of how much more an item is wanted
than for sale.

wanted list to items for sale
or
wanted list to lot for sale

Wanted 3212 / Lots for sale 14 = 229.4 times more wanted than lots for sale
Wanted 3212 / Items for sale 108 = 29.7 times more wanted that items for sale

With the "apply order" button you see a table with proposed amounts to add

It's not easy to spot things that overflow. This is what the OP is finding
out I think.

I prefer to NOT HAVE an automatic overflow mechanism as the OP posted, I fear
I can't control it. I still prefer to see what happens and write down notes.

I dunno if they can highlight in yellow/red/orange when the amounts are inequal.
This could be informative and yet adaptable to user's habits.

Indeed, but not multiple ones. So if you bought 20 of something, you can apply
5 to wanted list A, and it will still try to apply the full 20 from the same
order to wanted list B even if 5 were used completing wanted list A.

of those to specific wanted lists. It would be nice if all of my wanted lists
looked at it and I could see when particular wanted lists reached 100%. You could
then mark that list as "Complete", and it would take those items out of the inventory
pool. Deleting a wanted list would leave the pieces in the pool.

With the apply order function you can complete a specific Wantlist.

— v3 = beta of XP

Much has been written about spam activity in the Forum, and ways to stamp it
out. Today it became clear to me that some members are spamming (and acting innocent)
via Contact messages (see my other thread concerning picture requests).

Please implement a way for members to filter Contacts, so that Contacts can be
left enabled, but problematic ones can be routed directly to the Trash. This
is similar to how gmail does filtering.

Right now, I would put between 10 and 20 keywords into a filter, to suppress
traffic which does nothing but waste my time and energy, and produces no sales
on BL.

thank you.

After deleting one or more items in a wanted list, the list asynchronously refreshes
with default search options, disregarding at least a checked "Hide Items if Have
Qty is ≥ Want Qty" option.

Steps to reproduce:
- Create a list with two items
- Mark the first item as have = want
- Check the "Hide Items if Have Qty is ≥ Want Qty" option, only the other item
show
- Delete the remaining item
- The first item shows again

For day to day life, it’s a matter of habit, especially for temperature (metric
being obviously better for everything else, because it’s decimal ).

Once, in one of those forever discussions about Celsius vs. Fahreinheit, someone
came with the best argument ever that Fahrenheit was obviously better: 0°F and
100°F are really useful values¹ while Celsius was about freezing and boiling
water and one just needed to remember two numbers, that water froze at 32°F and
boiled at 212°F.
Strangely, they never answered when someone else pointed to them that, for Celsius,
one just needed to remember the lowest temp you can reach with salted water is
near -18°C and the blood temperature of horses is about 38°C.

¹ I’ll not comment on that usefulness nowadays… oops, it seems I just did

Many of us here still look at Fahrenheit temperatures, much more impressive talking
about temps of 100 degrees or more.

The address should be normalized, as to the standards of the postal authority
that handles the destination country. Having said that, there are a small number
of physical addresses in the USA that do not receive direct mail delivery. They
are instead given a free PO Box, and have to collect their mail there.

Very much support this!

I run into this quite often. Not only here, but also on the other site.

It should not at all be difficult to program since what's displayed on your
screen is the value of a database field connected to it. Just add the name of
the field (perhaps modified to make it more understandable) as a label.

Most international shipments are now done by preparing a label on the website
of your shipping agency and they require exact information for many fields, which
are different from country to country.

Also: make a telephone number mandatory for buyers: I need to enter a
telephone number for shipments outside of the EU. For Postnl I can also enter
an email address but this may be different in other countries.

To do the refund correctly, I had to reverse engineer the tax rate that was used
on the order. That tax rate is not currently disclosed, only the calculated

The seller should have nothing to do with calculating the sales tax to
do a refund. The seller should only enter the net value of items being refunded,
and the net value (if any) of the shipping being refunded. The sales tax calculation
mechanism should then calculate the correct sales tax part of the refund.

This is going to be a much larger concern once BL supports sales tax exemptions.
It will soon be a concern because of the peculiar way that some states (e.g.
Florida) determine when sales tax applies to shipping, and when it does not.
This is knowledge that the system has, and the seller (in a different state)
usually will not have.

Please make this much more seller friendly, and intuitive.

Agreed! I was a bit over the top about this on this thread, but others had a
more rational discussion about it.

Yes, it's done badly.

I fully agree with this, it's even pretty simple to do technically since
the opposite is done currently. Instead of removing tax from the full amount,
it could add tax to the part amount.

On the Mass Inventory Upload page, the first dropdown under "Consolidate Lots
By Using:" is:

New Price and New Tier Pricing

Can we get that separated into two dropdowns? I want to set a new price but leave
the old tier pricing.

Or maybe there can be a verify page, like the second page of parting out
a set, where I can see the current tier pricing and make the changes as needed
if the new price is lower than the current tier price?

Seller tool changes please?

Thanks for considering this.

I'm sorry, Im not using the Classic Wanted List Search page¹ which has the
correct sorting order displayed in the search form like you describe.

The problem lies exclusively with the New Wanted List Search page² which doesn't
display the sorting order before you actually search, and I can confirm parts
aren't sorted by Color after Item Name, see attached screenshots.

Not sure if you would know the answer but was there a reason for these to be
assigned rac## as the minifig ID rather than 30598##?

Every other 1-piece "minifig" I've seen was catalogued with the part number.
Would make them much easier to find.

I tried to have them assigned the part numbers, but the catalog admins would
not accept my requests.

it by Item Name because this is how my collection is sorted. However, it's
hard for me to see how many of a part in a single color I need since it seems
the secondary sorting order is by Wanted list name which is pretty random. As
a result, The same Elements (Part + Color) aren't grouped together and it's
somewhat inconvenient.

I think there is a very big market for monochrome minifigures. So far, these

For example "Minifigure Monochrome - white".

I look forward to your estimation and feedback

I vote no. These are custom items, and should be listed as custom items. You
can search for custom monochrome minifigs easily enough. People seem to be charging
big money for them too.

So please keep them out of the regular minifig listings.

My vote is a no.

Me too. There is already a place to sell these since they ARE custom items.

Minifig No: gen091 Name: LEGO VIP Letter I (Monochrome)

gen091 (Inv) LEGO VIP Letter I (Monochrome)
Minifigures: LEGO Brand

This exists because it was sold this way. Same for the others that are mentioned
below that have appeared in sets as figs built that way. I get the idea of having
all different monochrome color figs available, but then where do you limit the
creation of them. Does it mean, you could only have figs if all the parts are
available to create it. If someone "cleans" a part to remove the print and create
a new monochrome, they technically have the part, but it's not original by
any means. The current catalog doesn't limit anyone from buying or creating
them, but I could see the gap if someone is looking to purchase one. It's
a balance that I'm glad I don't have to manage.

They can also "clean" a part and list it as the plain torso, that is nothing
new. I'd hope anyone doing that would list them as used or at least indicate
the parts had been wiped.

They can also create a monochrome torso assembly by pulling off (yellow) hands
from another one such as this

Part No: 973c07 Name: Torso Plain / Blue Arms / Yellow Hands
*
973c07 (Inv) Torso Plain / Blue Arms / Yellow Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly

and adding the correct colour hands. So the torso assembly might not be original
but still exists if created. More of a worry are monochrome legs/hips, as people
can pull off the legs and damage the pins, but again that is not a new problem.

As long as they are sold as used it doesn't matter. And if after wipe it's
100% indistinguishable from a non-wiped used torso... well... it really doesn't
matter.

Not really, you can often see a different surface when it is wiped, so not 100%
and it does matter.

'm pretty sure the main objective behind the catalog is
that it is a representation of the parts that are officially sold by Lego. While
they do sell parts to make monochrome minifigures, they are not sold as such,
hence why they are not listed in the standard catalog and require custom listings.
If they were to do this, it could open a can of worms for other requests.

Disagree - the main objective of the catalog is to facilitate selling and buying
LEGO in this marketplace. If there is significant demand it should be added to
the catalog to make it easier to buy and sell (and to track the price history).
I trust the catalog admins to make a judgement call whether something is worthy
or not, but can understand that they wouldn't want that responsibility and
the flood of requests/complaints.

I agree. This should be done with certain types of parts after proper discernment.
