Two ways of thinking, non are for sale, so you can ask a high price and maybe
sell it now.
*Have money to buy new LEGO rinse repeat.

Or put it away, hope the market doesn’t get flooded because more of these sets
come out and get a return in a few years.
*Have your money locked up in one set.

Thanks for checking out our store!

Just want to let you know that now through Sunday, 02/05/2023 at midnight, we are having a Grand Opening Sale.

It has been a great first month of figuring out the setup of our store. We have been adding parts like crazy... and well, we need to get some more added, so some need to go! LoL!

We have also updated our shipping methods. We are offering flat rate shipping of $5.50 and if your order is over $40, shipping is on us.

Please be sure to check us out this weekend. We look forward to getting your order put together!

just a heads up you may want to change this line in your terms
"BbR Bricks is not responsible for any damages or lost packages without insurance"
as sellers are fully liable until the package is delivered so its best to be
upfront with buyers about it. as insurance is for the seller not the buyer

I guess my initial thought was it even being an option available to the buyer
and other stores making a note of it. Will look into some adjustments with that.

You are still able to charge for insurance if you want but whether you charge
it or not the buyer still has full protection

Thanks!

Taz,

If what you have going on is working out for you, that's great, however,
here is some feedback I have from checking out your terms vs what appears to
be for sale in the store (sets/parts/etc..)

I would recommend that you look over your shipping terms. As a potential buyer,
I am not certain I understand the options available as all I see is "flat
rate small box" for an option. I fully understand that if I checkout I will
see a TBD and I'm sure an invoice with shipping will appear, but there is
no indication from your terms, on what to expect for shipping/handling costs.

Also, shipping flat rate is seen as a disadvantage to buyers as flat rate shipping
for Lego is generally not a favorable option as the containers are small and
more Lego can be shipped in a 16 oz commercial rate bubble mailer vs how much
weight would fit in a small flat rate box.

I'm sure if you browse around various stores, that ideas to research could
be found to modify from to use for what works for you.

I also mention that option as sets don't fit in small flat rate packages.

So either way, just some advice that you can take or leave as you manage your
shop. Again, if nothing changes and you like how it is, I don't have an issue
with that at all either.

Take care

This past summer my son set out to create his first LEGO Ideas creation in Studio.
He completed and submitted it in August and after some things settled down with
other LEGO projects, we started ordering parts to build it in November. Overall,
the process has been somewhat time consuming finding the right store combinations
for all the various parts with prices that we were comfortable paying.

We pulled about 60% of them from our store and another handful from Pick-a-Brick.
PAB from Billund arrived right around the 4 weeks they advertise, but our PAB
order of bestsellers out of Illinois was backordered for a month and a half so
we ended up cancelling it. Of course, that allowed us to make a few more purchase
from fellow sellers on bricklink to get the rest of the parts we needed (and
of course a few other things we didn't need).

Right now, we only have one outstanding order that shipped yesterday. In all
I think we had 4 minor issues over the 1446 parts we ordered, and the sellers
were very responsive to handling those issues.

I'd like to give a big thank you to the following stores. Without them we
would have had a much harder time finding all the parts we needed, especially
older or rare parts that my son chose to use.

In no particular order thank you to...
Magic Mountain
AlleyCat Bricks
I Heart Bricks
Cutthroat Brick
EriksBricks
Budapest Brick NOPAYPALFEE
Leobrick
Anthony's Bricks
Bellevue Brickz
Bonfire Bricks
brixalotl
KRYSTEN'S KORNER
Nelson's Bricks
Let’s Play Bricks
Chicks with Brix
Wyoming Bricks
YourBrickSupply
Little Brick - Big Ideas
Pattie Parts

With that said, I often wonder what the parts I'm shipping out will end up
building. Sometimes you can tell if a part is used in only one specific set or
a few parts point to something specific, but often it appears too random to really
know. I mainly wonder about what MOCs they may be going to as the creativity
of LEGO fans is amazing. If anyone is interested in what my son is building,
you can head over to the Ideas site and search for Rockwell Castle Outpost (by
TacodileSupreme24) or follow the link below. Of course, he’s appreciate any
support from the community as well.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/81b6236a-19da-445e-8517-68eb515e4c5a

Again, thank you to the sellers above as well as all the other sellers and buyers
we've encountered here on bricklink.

Kyle

Nothing is currently manufactured in Enfield - the factory there closed in 1993

LEGO announces departure from Enfield office by end of 2026

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — LEGO officials announced that the company will be clearing
out of its Enfield office by the end of 2026.

The Enfield office is the company’s current head office in the Americas, according
to LEGO. Now, LEGO stated that it would be relocating its head offices to Boston,
Massachusetts.

President of the LEGO Group in the Americas, Skip Kodak, said this move would
support the company’s long-term goals.

“Boston is ranked one of the best cities in the world to attract and retain talent,”
Kodak said. “This, along with its world-class academic institutions, skilled
workforce, and great quality of life makes it an ideal location for our US head
office. We have exciting plans for the next phase of growth and hope we can retain
many of our current team, as well as attract new colleagues.”

The transition is expected to begin by mid-2025 and should be finished by the
end of 2026. All Enfield employees — more than 700 full-time staff — are offered
a position at the next location in Boston, and LEGO has offered relocation assistance
for those who wish to make a move, the company said.

Gov. Ned Lamont (D-Conn.) said while he is disappointed that LEGO is moving from
Enfield, he is “confident in Connecticut’s ability to attract and retain companies
that value our competitive advantages in education, workforce, and quality of
life.”

“Based on my conversations this morning with LEGO’s leadership, their move is
motivated not by any Connecticut policy but rather LEGO’s desire to consolidate
their business operations near the company’s Education Office and to enhance
their partnership with MIT,” Lamont said.

Rep. Joe Courtney (CT-02) said he is “very disappointed” by the news.

“This change will be a four-year process, and my office has been assured that
over that time, employees will be given a chance to retain their positions in
Boston if they choose. In the meantime, it is important that the State of Connecticut—whose
labor market has tens of thousands of job openings—connect this highly talented
workforce to great career opportunities that exist in our region, from clean
energy production, to all sorts of advanced manufacturing and engineering, and
more,” Courtney said. “My office will be monitoring this process closely with
state and local officials to make sure LEGO employees in north central Connecticut
are treated properly, and that they’ve got access to every opportunity for skills
training and other forms of transitional support.”

The LEGO Group opened its office in Enfield in 1975.

Real reason:

“Based on my conversations this morning with LEGO’s leadership, their move is
motivated not by any Connecticut policy but rather LEGO’s desire to consolidate
their business operations near the company’s Education Office and to enhance
their partnership with MIT,” Lamont said.

LEGO Corporate blah blah blah:

“Boston is ranked one of the best cities in the world to attract and retain talent,”
Kodak said. “This, along with its world-class academic institutions, skilled
workforce, and great quality of life makes it an ideal location for our US head
office. We have exciting plans for the next phase of growth and hope we can retain
many of our current team, as well as attract new colleagues.”

That could be said for an umpteen amount of US cities, but only one has the Education
Office and MIT. Got to love spin doctors!

I mean I genuinely wonder what the target audience for this type of stuff is
and why they think bricklink would work and why it happens so much. (I’ll go
ahead and update the title already)

Everyone is so great on here and I love helping people find great pieces at great
prices. Lately I have been spending too much time trying to pack and ship items
and not getting to spend enough time building so
If anyone is interested in buying my inventory I'm ready to hear offers on
it. Currently it sits a little above $6,000 in listed items. I have another 100
pounds of unsorted pieces about 20 pounds of new and 80 used and maybe 5 to 10
pounds of Minifigures and accessories. I also have at least 500 bubble mailers
in various sizes to throw in. If you're in south Florida I can deliver otherwise
I can arrange shipping. Thanks for reading.

As I grow ever closer to having the Dark Pink Brick next to my feedback score,
I want to express my gratitude to the many, many great Buyers I have had over
the years; as well as all the amazing Sellers that I have purchased items from
over the years as well…!

To expand on that Thank You, I want to offer something I have numerous
times over the years in the form of a Custom Store Logo and/or ID Card Image
to whoever would like one… I have created hundreds of these logos over the years
(see examples below), and I have always loved the challenge of creating new ones.
To take advantage of this offer, all you need to do is send me a message through
Bricklink with a basic description of what you would like in a custom logo, and
I will get to work—simple as that. Alternatively, if you would like a
similar design to one of the examples below, just point that out in the message
(providing me with an idea of what you’d like gives me a good starting point
to creatively build upon; because if you don’t, you’ll simply get whatever I
create at the moment—which will tend to be whatever is currently on my mind).

Similarly to the times I have offered this before, I am not asking for anything
in return… while it is true that I have been provided with coupons and direct
payments via PayPal for my work on these logos, I want to be clear: that is not
required; it is definitely appreciated, but it is absolutely not required...

The only thing I ask for is a little patience. Because it has happened in previous
times I have done this, I will occasionally get flooded with requests all at
once, and can sometimes takes me a little more time to provide a few design choices
for each request; rest assured, that I will provide every request with one (I
can honestly say I have created logos for every single individual that has requested
one, which is why I have so many examples)…

Note: the examples below do not appear of great resolution quality; though that
is more the limitation of Bricklink for the size/format of allowable forum images;
the logos I will create for you will be much higher resolution.

Thank You again to those Buyers and Sellers I have worked with in the past, as
well as to those I will work with tomorrow (and beyond); here’s to a continued

Life is Good.

Congrats on getting close to 10k feedback!!! When you do don’t forget to celebrate
with pizza!!! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🦞🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
