  Hi all,

Just saw the new Lightyear sets: https://brickset.com/article/73826

Do you see what I see on 76832 XL-15 Spaceship: the new windscreen doesn’t look
like Trans-Yellow but more neon-ish?

Would be a real bummer

I am going to be needing a few of those fighters...

The parts are interesting but not for that price (no much use for the MFs too).

So, except for a big discount, I’ll wait for the part to arrive in BL shops

No matter how much people tell me not to overthink it, my brain has been unable
to resolve Lightyear. Its setting is after Toy Story, so can't be the in-universe
real story that inspired the in-universe cartoon. But it is different from the
in-universe cartoon also. I want it to make sense. I can't.

Sense-fiction is an oxymoron

I bet it is normal Transparent Yellow...

Well, I sure hope so but it looks weird in LEGO’s renders

I’m trying to plan summer purchases. General information was revealed about
several sets that go on sale in June but no photos yet. Typically, how far in
advance of release date does LEGO post photos of an upcoming set?

Thanks!

  Hi.

I've never bought a brand new release before, but got excited about the 10300
BTTF about to be released on lego.com on april 1st.
Now I found the first reseller announcing it, but it will not be available there
until july 1st.

I was looking forward to get this on the release date, but I'm not sure it's
worth paying 184 EUR at lego.com when I can get it from a reseller for 139 EUR
three months later... (even if I might get a little Easter gift set)

I can understand if Lego want a few months to cash in on those who just can't
wait (since lego.com in general are much more expensive than their resellers).

But I wondered if it is a common thing for Lego to do, to delay the release
to resellers several months?

I assume there are a lot of seasoned buyers here that would know. (Perhaps it
is just that one reseller that are late, but I fear not.)

LEGO are starting to do this more on the "adult" sets. The demand is high and
production cannot keep up. So they might as well sell the in-demand adults aimed
sets themselves at full price at the start rather than getting other distributors
to sell them, when the demand is high.
