Hello,

I recently have found a Boba Fett with no helmet printing, I was wondering if
anyone knew how rare this is, or had any appraisals, I am also open to any and
all offers. Anyone have any advice? The helmet is just a plain mandatorily helmet
with absolutely no printing, similar to the one in the new mandatorily forge.

Thanks, NG

Hello,

I have made some purchases recently in USD, CAD, and NOK. When viewing Price
Guide, and seeing what I paid, the value under "Sold" is higher than what was
on my order, ONLY for NOK. USD and CAD the values are the same..

My question is, am I truly paying what I see in my order / invoice? Why would
an item be listed and sold in my order for 300 NOK but show on the price guide
at 375 NOK ?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Going through and photographing some sets to sell I noticed this shield has a
printing mistake, the yellow outline was misaligned.

Was or is this a common variation during that time, or a super rare one off mistake?

Hi,

I’m trying to find out an average price for assorted Bionicle parts. They don’t
belong to any particular sets, they’re just extras we bought our son over the
years and he’s ready to move them on. He’s bagged them up and they weigh about
750g per bag (rough estimate). The parts include some masks, joints and general
bits and pieces.

All of the bags are this size and contain roughly the same amount of pieces.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi!

I've got a hand on this blue lego case, assumable from the 70s. I've
noe been able to find any pictures of a similar item on web and wonder if it
is quite rare. The case has a White handle.

What do you think? Any guesses on a fair value?

Thanks for all inputs

Do any UK sellers know if you can bulk adjust stock in Brickstore to reflect
the UK 6th month ave. I've got it close but think it is still pulling in
the global 6th month average.

Hi all, I recently discovered a vintage Lego 1589 set in my loft. It seems to
be brand new but the box has been opened. The contents is pristine and includes
all the appropriate pieces and stickers. It was also packaged with the original
box it came in from Lego. I’m not sure how to price this item as I can’t seem
to find one in this kind of condition online. I live in the UK. Would be really
great full of some expert help with this one please.

Many thanks

Hello guys,

Can someone check this store 613 Bricks (https://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=613)
The prices are insanely high and it will break the purpose of the avg prices.
Example:

Lot ID: 288191095 Item No: 4195-1
Price:
US $64,990.00
(~EUR 59,700.8515)

Please investigate.

When I check the price guide of a part, I can see that it is on many wanted lists
of other users (e.g. "On 314875 Wanted Lists" - below "My Wanted List" and "Add
to My Wanted List").

Once a user described how to see which different colors of the 314875 entries
are on other user's Wanted Lists, but I can't find that comment anymore
and I also can't figure out how to do it

Thanks!

I have written a program to help me track my LEGO inventory. I am a collector
but I don't plan on doing any selling. I would like to access the Price Guide
to get a better estimate on the value of my collection.

Currently the API is only available to sellers. Is there a way to get access
without being a seller?

Hi everybody,

When adding parts manually from my Inventory (no part out), I used to adjust
quantity and pricing by quickly checking the Price Guide.

When I say quick, I mean I just clicked on the "Price" link and a pop up window
opened instantly, showing the Price Guide for that part. Then I closed the window
and adjusted my price. This was a 2 seconds procedure. I used that procedure
for several colors of the same part without leaving the page. Then I submitted
all these changes in one go. Nice and fast!

Today, for an unknown reason, the same link leads to another page showing the
complete Price Guide with all items for sale. This takes a loooong time to load.
For the most common parts, it can take up to 20 seconds to load!!! Yes, I might
have an old computer. But still.
Then, I have to come back to the previous Inventory page, which can take time
to load and at the top of the said page. Then I have to scroll down to find and
adjust the right color entry. That's for one color. If I have five entries
of the same part in various colors to adjust, I must repeat that process accordingly.

This is really time consuming (x10 at least), annoying, frustrating and painful.
I know there are other ways to adjust prices, but that's the way I used to
work for years and it was so easy. I can't think of any quicker way.

Please, just bring back the small pop up window... Please?

Thaks for reading my rant.

Hey Bricklink community

I am considering opening a store to sell my unwanted sets I just don't have
room for.

My question is, what additional value does having the box add to the sale price,
and does it matter to a buyer if it has been flattened? Most of the boxes are
from purchases in the last 5 years.

Appreciate any comments.

I woud like to see the last known sellingprice for an item, no matter how long
ago it sold.
Now we can only see the sales from last 6 months and the items for sale.

But sometimes an item is no longer for sale and it has been more than 6 months
since a sale, I would still like to know what it was sold for.
Why? For my insurrance policy...

Is it an good idea to change it to what I suggest? How do I make it happen??

New member today, please be gentle if I've broken any guidelines. [The rules
mentioned I shouldn't post here about items I'm selling - but I'm
not selling them on here, just to a friend of a friend]

I'm afraid I am completely clueless on pricing for these; hoping to get a
guide here.
I have two in-store shelf displays - small ones, known as Boosters, which are
a built model with the retail box behind, in a clear plastic case, not the 3ft
or larger ones.
A friend of my partner wishes to buy them, so I'm just looking for a fair
price, passing them on to someone who will appreciate them.
One is City, the other Ninjago. Both are pristine, boxes only opened today to
take photos. They still have the protective film on, hence the slightly blurry
pictures.

The reason I have these is that I used to install them, by the hundred, to retailers.
The very last run I ever did, the retailer went bust, leaving me with these two
& nowhere to put them.

If anyone has any idea what I should ask for them, I'd be most grateful.
I'm in the UK, so appropriate pricing in £ would be helpful - otherwise any
ballpark figure & can translate for myself would be helpful.

I have just found this set, unopened, intact seal. I have no idea of how much
this set is worth so would be grateful for some feedback.

Current price for the 6 items in the set in new condition is around the €300
mark, so what do members think would be an acceptable premium for the set as
originally sold?

Thanks,

Martin.

Hey there,
I'm relatively new to selling here on Bricklink, so I haven't been able
to work this out as of yet.
But I'm wondering- how do I adjust prices of my invoices?

There have been a couple of times recently where I've quoted lower prices
of postage to a buyer, and just today I had agreed to give a discounted price
for multiple sets purchased. The problem is I have no idea how to actually do
it!

Is it something to do with discount codes?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

When uploading inventory and pricing I only see limited options, such as last
six months sales average or current inventory average. Is there any way (through
third party software) to average by stores in your country?

I've been noticing in Rebrickable people are choosing my store when I might
have 90-93% of the parts for a MOC and others might have 98-99%. They're
picking me because my prices are nearly 50-75% cheaper (and yes, the other stores
have several thousand sales so they're moving inventory) despite me using
the current inventory averages.

However when I do a deep dive and look at only domestic (US) stores, the average
price is more in line with these other stores are charging. I'm not in danger
of being unprofitable but I'm definitely leaving money on the table that
can be going towards expanding inventory.

It didn't fit into the subject field,

How do you keep the used items prices lower than new ones in your store?

Especially for some items which are small and doesn't much differ when in
new or used, using different discount ratios completely messes with the prices,
sometimes used item becomes more expensive than the new part.

Also I see that older/vintage items even with the niche use that more suitable
for replacement in old/vintage sets are priced lower than the new parts. Why
is it so? (Of course there is the new old stock and it's normal for them
to be priced higher if said part's production has ended)

BrickLink newbie here, and I’m not a seller. I’m writing a program to make Lego
mosaics from pictures. I’d like the code to automatically estimate the price
of the 1x1 round tiles used to make the mosaic in order to explore the tradeoffs
between the appearance of the mosaic and the price of the parts.

Is there a way I can download price guides for 1x1 round tiles (or any other
parts)? I know I can get a price guide interactively on BrickLink (e.g. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?itemType=P&itemNo=98138&itemSeq=1&colorID=105&v=P&priceGroup=Y&prDec=2),
but this would be tedious to do for ~35 different colors, it’s not conveniently
downloadable, and prices will change over time.

BrickStock is intriguing, because it can update a parts database from BrickLink.
One thing I tried was BrickStock’s feature to import a BrickLink shopping cart.
I made a shopping cart on BrickLink with each of the tile colors I want. But
BrickStock couldn’t import the cart from the BrickLink URL.

Other ideas?

Hi BrickLink Community,

I have a Lego collection that is about 50 pounds of pieces and 90%+ sorted by
shape. The entire collection is ready for sale in ziplock baggies.

Is it authentic Lego?
In the entire collection, I think there would be less than 10 pieces that are
not authentic Lego if any. There are also around 2 lbs. of Technics liftarms.

How much of the collection has damage?
Almost none of the collection has damage.

What sets did it come from?
The Lego in this collection mainly comes from City and Ninjago however there
are some Star Wars, Classic, 3-in-1, and Minecraft.

Do you have pictures?
Also, as I was preparing it for sale, I took a picture of the contents of each
baggy so that prospective buyers could get an idea of what they were buying.
The pictures are in this Google Folder - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vAKHDG6NChQN67W4J7Wwf_WEDPEEUkJ2?usp=sharing

While there are some resources and knowledge online regarding how to sell unsorted
bulk Lego by the pound, I have not found any guidance for selling sorted collections,
so any advice this community has to offer would be very appreciated.

Sincerely,
Blake Stetson

I can get my hands on a new sealed box 5489: Ultimate LEGO Vehicle Building Set

There is no new set on offer on BL, only 5 used, so I am wondering what the value
of this sealed set currently would be?

Seems there is not much demand for it, albeit being a very rare set.

Only think I am suspicious about is that it has a white strap around the box
which doesn't seem original.

I'm trying to calculate the approximate value of a specific (sub-)collection.
Other than looking up every single item and looking for price, is there another
method (or if anyone has calculated any of the below, I'll happily take that
info, may even send you something for the effort). Specifically interested to
know the approximate value of any of the following (in excellent but used condition):

1) all collectible minifigs (so series 1-21 as well as all others (Marvel, Simpsons,
Team BG, etc, collection is 1 copy of each unique figure).

2) all castle figures (1 copy of each castle figure, ~515 minifigs)

3) all SW figures (1 copy of each SW figure, ~1230 minifigs)

4) all train sets, including accessories and track, ~260 sets

5) all castle sets, ~211 sets

I'm not a database wizard, but some of you may know or have done such a calculation.

It's most prominent on Advent Calendars but maybe there is the same phenomenon
in the collectible minifigures too...

Individual day entries with a figure in the advent calendar sets are cheaper
than (current average price) the figure listings. (Despite the fact that the
sub set from the advent calendar may come sealed which is an added value)

Here are two examples, I believe it's the same for other Advent Calendar
sets..

Subset of figure
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=75279-5&#T=P

People seem to prefer selling & buying in figure format which kind of explained

for sub sets are less than the figure only market?

Здравствуйте. Возник такой вопрос. Есть набор по гарри поттеру. Не понравился,
не оправдал ожиданий и хочется продать. За сколько можно будет продать его в
полной комплектации. Но коробка открыта, сам набор собран.\\\
Hello. There was such a question. There is a set on Harry Potter. I did not like
it, did not meet expectations and I want to sell it. For how much it will be
possible to sell it in full. But the box is open, the set itself is assembled.\\\\

I work in a thrift shop and someone dropped of some Lego sets. They are sets
no. 50, 78, 200 and 918. All have boxes, instructions and original bill of sale
from Sears in Canada. By the way they are all still in the blister packs. What
are they worth and I can't sell them on this site because I have no purchase
record. Is there another site that would take them?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to this forum so go easy on me!

I’m hoping to get some advice. I bought a Star Wars New Order Assault Walker
(item 75189) last year as I saw that it was to be discontinued. It’s still sealed
in the box but there’s a large rip in the back of the box.

I wondered if anyone could advise if this has significantly affected the value
and if so what the likely value would be.

Thanks in advance!

You have to wonder if that is a typo, or if someone is trying to corner the market

Part No: 3010 Name: Brick 1 x 4
*

I'm leaning towards typo, but who really knows ... only The Shadow knows.

Hi, I have re-found this model that I got as a child. The model seems to be complete
and in good shape (need to re-confirm), have the building instruction (very good
condition). The box is nicely cut appart (so that it fit on 2 x A4 ), but all
6 sides are there. What would be a fair price? Can see anything from 70-300€
for those few that have been on sale at BL

Finally listing a small chunk of a huge bag of Bionicle parts and came across:
part 43855 - Bionicle Mask Akaku Nuva in Pearl Light Gray

While it doesn't show as a known color for any set in this color, I found
in another thread that this color variant appeared in two mask collection sets.

I'm wondering why this color specifically sells (and has sold) for $150+.
The other colors that are almost as rare sell for $5-10 or less.

Making me wish I started going through these Bionicle/Hero Factory parts sooner...

33291 Plate, Round 1 x 1 with Flower Edge (4 Knobs / Petals)
Parts: Plate, Round {White}

Has a NEW price from € 5.44 - € 24.44 per piece!
I bought this item twice in the past year and paid between € 0.04 and € 0.28
for it.
I know this part in white colour is only in one recent set:

Set No: 21134 Name: The Waterfall Base
*
21134-1 (Inv) The Waterfall Base
706 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2017
Sets: Minecraft

I'm just curious why this part sky rocketed in price.

(For those who do research: I'm currently listing 8 of these and priced them
lower than 6 month avg., mainly to see what will happen )

Hi everyone, so I was going through all my lego from when i was young and came
across the Black Seas Barracuda number 10040 from 2002. I was wondering if anyone
know how much it could be worth, I have it fully built with the instructions
in perfect condition but sadly no box. I have seen that they can be around $2,700
AUD with the box but i'm unsure what the price would be without the box.

Hello,
Bricklink's price guide tool is incredibly powerful, but seems hellbent on
periodic amnesia, resulting in anything older than 6 months not existing at all.
It would be interesting to see graphs of how several items have evolved over
the years, and how the supply of certain sets were exhausted. I also would love
to use it to see if certain parts have ever sold in unreleased colours. Is a
longer price guide history something that has been considered?

(Same with orders really, but I guess it's a limit of the site's servers?)

HI,

Does anyone have any guidance on good websites to review for pricing guides on
vintage sets if no info on Bricklink?

I have a new 6970 Beta-1 Command Base set, i'm sure a few years ago there
was maybe one for sale on here - another thought - anyway of retrieving older
history from the price guide on here?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello,

I'm using Brickstore to manage my inventory. The main items I sell are "COMPLETE
USED SETS" and I have a problem with updating prices from Bricklink price guide.

On used sets there are a lot of people that sell incomplete sets at lower price
and this makes that average price is lower than the real "complete used sets"
average.

I'm wondering if there is a way to update prices of my inventory based on
the average price only from "used and COMPLETE" items. This will be a more realistic
price.

Thank you very much,

Jordan Bricks

I have a number of sets that are new and still sealed in their parts bags, but
those parts bags are no longer inside the original set boxes. I would like to
sell these sets through my Bricklink storefront.

How much of a discount off of the best new in sealed box price do you think I
should I give when posting these sets for sale?

My thinking is that as long as I am cheaper than the cheapest available NISB
version of the set, but more than the most expensive used+complete version of
the set, I am in the right ballpark.

If it matter, the sets in question are the 'Classic' Space Galaxy Squad
sets from 2013.

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks.

Trying to figure out what to sell legos for. In what combinations (by color,
weight, piece etc) is at best confusing. I had an idea to sell them for _?_ cents
each regardless of size or color or w/e. (of course no fakes, or bite marks or
anything I wouldn't want to receive if I was buying them.)
Could somebody tell me if this would work?
What price per piece should I ask? what would you pay?
What am I not taking into consideration?
Is there a better/ easier/ faster way to sell? Any other advise?

I need to sell them to repay friends who helped me pay for my dogs emergency
surgery. They saved her life. I'm doing everything I can to repay the monetary
debt. I will forever owe them my heart. Thank you.

Hi there!

Is there a functionality in BrickStore where I can only compare prices instead
of updating them?

I'd like to load my inventory as XML (works fine already) and then display
additional columns like "Price Guide Last 6 Months Sales" and "% Difference of
current price" (or something like that).

I just want to check which prices are really outdated (like +/- 50%) in my inventory.

Is this possible somehow?

Thanks!

Is anybody else having problems with BrickStock or is this problem only on my
side?

When setting some minifigures to the price guide I receive 0 back. Also when
the item is highlighted there is no sales info.

For instance:

Minifig No: cas328 Name: Fantasy Era - Skeleton Warrior 2, White
*
cas328 (Inv) Fantasy Era - Skeleton Warrior 2, White
Minifigures: Castle: Fantasy Era

There is definitly sales info on that on Bricklink but I receive 0.
Everything (database and version) is up to date. Can anybody give it a try and
see what happens please?

This item is so rare and expensive!
It seems that it has been replaced by a 3 and 2 finger system, maybe because
more robust?
What do you think about replacing two entire missing hinges by the more recent
3/2 ones on a 8848 technical set from 1981 that is missing the box (instructions
OK originals) and some item bought used in 2021?

Hey Everyone,

I read through, "4150 in blue why so high?": https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1266170
and everything in there makes sense i.e. not many sets made that contain that
part, and a limited quantity per set, and the sets are discontinued.

However, while seemingly high for what it is e.g. $4-5, the price has been fairly
stable over the last 6 months. I came across another piece: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=13269&ColorID=85
which has those same features, except 6 months ago, the average sale price was
about $1 but this month it's over $11. Even if taking out the $24 and even
$14 outliers, it's still probably pushing $10. Does anyone know why this
piece is all of a sudden in demand for a high price?

As a new store owner I've been using the 6 month quantity average when pricing
inventory and most of the time it seems reasonable, but in this case if I did
that, I'd likely be losing out on a couple of dollars, perhaps more considering
in the US the cheapest piece is $12. I totally understand someone would have
to buy it from my store in order to actually materialize the value. Thanks for
any insight.

James
