Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone would like to give me feedback on my prices in
my Bricklink store. I would be very helpful to know if i am pricing things high,
low, or just right.

Thanks, NG

I own a misprint lego minifigure, it's the lego DJ series 8, the picture
of the figure is on my store 'Boise Bricks' and I'm willing to make
a deal. I also want to know how to determine a misprint worth. Thank you for
any help!

Hey there,
I'm relatively new to selling here on Bricklink, so I haven't been able
to work this out as of yet.
But I'm wondering- how do I adjust prices of my invoices?

There have been a couple of times recently where I've quoted lower prices
of postage to a buyer, and just today I had agreed to give a discounted price
for multiple sets purchased. The problem is I have no idea how to actually do
it!

Is it something to do with discount codes?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

James

Hi, I have both a Harry Potter and Hadrig, I believe these are from around 2004,
they were won in a competition and have been on a shelf since.

Does anyone have any idea on pricing

Thanks
Mark

When uploading inventory and pricing I only see limited options, such as last
six months sales average or current inventory average. Is there any way (through
third party software) to average by stores in your country?

I've been noticing in Rebrickable people are choosing my store when I might
have 90-93% of the parts for a MOC and others might have 98-99%. They're
picking me because my prices are nearly 50-75% cheaper (and yes, the other stores
have several thousand sales so they're moving inventory) despite me using
the current inventory averages.

However when I do a deep dive and look at only domestic (US) stores, the average
price is more in line with these other stores are charging. I'm not in danger
of being unprofitable but I'm definitely leaving money on the table that
can be going towards expanding inventory.

It didn't fit into the subject field,

How do you keep the used items prices lower than new ones in your store?

Especially for some items which are small and doesn't much differ when in
new or used, using different discount ratios completely messes with the prices,
sometimes used item becomes more expensive than the new part.

Also I see that older/vintage items even with the niche use that more suitable
for replacement in old/vintage sets are priced lower than the new parts. Why
is it so? (Of course there is the new old stock and it's normal for them
to be priced higher if said part's production has ended)

Hi all,

When I purchased the King's Mountain Fortress (6081) in 1991, I was always
puzzled by this clearly flawed maiden torso.
Has anyone ever seen this version before?

BrickLink newbie here, and I’m not a seller. I’m writing a program to make Lego
mosaics from pictures. I’d like the code to automatically estimate the price
of the 1x1 round tiles used to make the mosaic in order to explore the tradeoffs
between the appearance of the mosaic and the price of the parts.

Is there a way I can download price guides for 1x1 round tiles (or any other
parts)? I know I can get a price guide interactively on BrickLink (e.g. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?itemType=P&itemNo=98138&itemSeq=1&colorID=105&v=P&priceGroup=Y&prDec=2),
but this would be tedious to do for ~35 different colors, it’s not conveniently
downloadable, and prices will change over time.

BrickStock is intriguing, because it can update a parts database from BrickLink.
One thing I tried was BrickStock’s feature to import a BrickLink shopping cart.
I made a shopping cart on BrickLink with each of the tile colors I want. But
BrickStock couldn’t import the cart from the BrickLink URL.

Other ideas?

Hi BrickLink Community,

I have a Lego collection that is about 50 pounds of pieces and 90%+ sorted by
shape. The entire collection is ready for sale in ziplock baggies.

Is it authentic Lego?
In the entire collection, I think there would be less than 10 pieces that are
not authentic Lego if any. There are also around 2 lbs. of Technics liftarms.

How much of the collection has damage?
Almost none of the collection has damage.

What sets did it come from?
The Lego in this collection mainly comes from City and Ninjago however there
are some Star Wars, Classic, 3-in-1, and Minecraft.

Do you have pictures?
Also, as I was preparing it for sale, I took a picture of the contents of each
baggy so that prospective buyers could get an idea of what they were buying.
The pictures are in this Google Folder - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vAKHDG6NChQN67W4J7Wwf_WEDPEEUkJ2?usp=sharing

While there are some resources and knowledge online regarding how to sell unsorted
bulk Lego by the pound, I have not found any guidance for selling sorted collections,
so any advice this community has to offer would be very appreciated.

Sincerely,
Blake Stetson

I can get my hands on a new sealed box 5489: Ultimate LEGO Vehicle Building Set

There is no new set on offer on BL, only 5 used, so I am wondering what the value
of this sealed set currently would be?

Seems there is not much demand for it, albeit being a very rare set.

Only think I am suspicious about is that it has a white strap around the box
which doesn't seem original.

I'm trying to calculate the approximate value of a specific (sub-)collection.
Other than looking up every single item and looking for price, is there another
method (or if anyone has calculated any of the below, I'll happily take that
info, may even send you something for the effort). Specifically interested to
know the approximate value of any of the following (in excellent but used condition):

1) all collectible minifigs (so series 1-21 as well as all others (Marvel, Simpsons,
Team BG, etc, collection is 1 copy of each unique figure).

2) all castle figures (1 copy of each castle figure, ~515 minifigs)

3) all SW figures (1 copy of each SW figure, ~1230 minifigs)

4) all train sets, including accessories and track, ~260 sets

5) all castle sets, ~211 sets

I'm not a database wizard, but some of you may know or have done such a calculation.

Part# 60936 from 8998-1 Toa Mata Nui is listed currently for an average of $218.00,
it seems. Is this a realistic price?

It's most prominent on Advent Calendars but maybe there is the same phenomenon
in the collectible minifigures too...

Individual day entries with a figure in the advent calendar sets are cheaper
than (current average price) the figure listings. (Despite the fact that the
sub set from the advent calendar may come sealed which is an added value)

Here are two examples, I believe it's the same for other Advent Calendar
sets..

Subset of figure
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=75279-5&#T=P
Avg. Price : €3.68 (60 listings)

Figure only
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=sw0778#T=P
Avg. Price : €4.89 (669 listings)

Subset of figure
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=75279-8&#T=P
Avg. Price : €4.28 (33 listings)

Figure only
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=sw1065#T=P
Avg. Price : €5.86 (787 listings)

People seem to prefer selling & buying in figure format which kind of explained
with the 10x much listings for this format but how come the shallower market
for sub sets are less than the figure only market?

Здравствуйте. Возник такой вопрос. Есть набор по гарри поттеру. Не понравился,
не оправдал ожиданий и хочется продать. За сколько можно будет продать его в
полной комплектации. Но коробка открыта, сам набор собран.\\\
Hello. There was such a question. There is a set on Harry Potter. I did not like
it, did not meet expectations and I want to sell it. For how much it will be
possible to sell it in full. But the box is open, the set itself is assembled.\\\\

I work in a thrift shop and someone dropped of some Lego sets. They are sets
no. 50, 78, 200 and 918. All have boxes, instructions and original bill of sale
from Sears in Canada. By the way they are all still in the blister packs. What
are they worth and I can't sell them on this site because I have no purchase
record. Is there another site that would take them?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to this forum so go easy on me!

I’m hoping to get some advice. I bought a Star Wars New Order Assault Walker
(item 75189) last year as I saw that it was to be discontinued. It’s still sealed
in the box but there’s a large rip in the back of the box.

I wondered if anyone could advise if this has significantly affected the value
and if so what the likely value would be.

Thanks in advance!

You have to wonder if that is a typo, or if someone is trying to corner the market

Part No: 3010 Name: Brick 1 x 4
*
3010 Brick 1 x 4
Parts: Brick {Sand Blue}

I'm leaning towards typo, but who really knows ... only The Shadow knows.

Hi, I have re-found this model that I got as a child. The model seems to be complete
and in good shape (need to re-confirm), have the building instruction (very good
condition). The box is nicely cut appart (so that it fit on 2 x A4 ), but all
6 sides are there. What would be a fair price? Can see anything from 70-300€
for those few that have been on sale at BL

Finally listing a small chunk of a huge bag of Bionicle parts and came across:
part 43855 - Bionicle Mask Akaku Nuva in Pearl Light Gray

While it doesn't show as a known color for any set in this color, I found
in another thread that this color variant appeared in two mask collection sets.

I'm wondering why this color specifically sells (and has sold) for $150+.
The other colors that are almost as rare sell for $5-10 or less.

Making me wish I started going through these Bionicle/Hero Factory parts sooner...
