Putting it on a white background does not help the camera for preserving color.
For better judgement, put the part next to some known colors.

If it does have a LEGO logo (which doesn't show up on the picture), it might
be Pearl Gold. No logo no LEGO for this part.

Since there's no lego logo on the stud I'm pretty sure it's fake

Looks Earth Orange to me, but the part doesn't show up in that color, nor
does it in Dark Nougat either

Don't know. How about Dark Orange?

Looks like I'll have to modify the original part some how.

I finished the desired modification. Just waiting for the glue to dry.

Hi there!

Unfortunately, that's one of the downsides when you are shopping "manually".
If you use the Buy function in your wantedlist, the carts are created automatically
and will get the right quantities across the several lots.
If you have added this particular store as a favorite, and you select "Favorited"
store as your first selection, there's a good chance that store will pop-up
in the top of the list. It all depends on the quantites on your wanted list vs
the store inventory though.

Sidenote: Some sellers only sell a part with a fit quantity, meaning you could
end up with more pieces then you actually have on your wanted list.

You can already sort the wanted lists in different orders: Newest, Alphabetically,
Lots or Completion, on https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/list.page
If you want any other sort order, it will have to come from naming your lists
accordingly and sort alphabetically.

You can bulk edit the names of your wanted lists on the classic wanted list page
