I get lots of New Mexico, California and other "restricted" state sales. It is
because that seller is not setup in a way that collects sales tax for your state

| I know I can download the complete instructions for set 8404, just wondering
if anyone has the parts list for only the blue tram.
Or if anyone has seen something similar I would be interested in seeing that
as well. Really just want to buy parts to build a tram or two for my elevated
rail line.

| I have a bunch of wanted lists, and I was trying to get all of the items on this
list that do NOT have patterns on them, so I tried:
-pattern
but it returns everything. It seems that the negation search will only work
in combo with something else. Anyone know a work around? Cant do:
x -pattern
since I was thinking most items have 1x2 or 3x2 in them, but that is not long
enough.
Thanks

Only workarounds I can think of are:
- select the parts WITH pattern and move those to a different wanted list; but
if you have may lists that would be cumbersome
- copy the wanted lists to a spreadsheet and filter off site

yea, that is what I have been doing. Basically, I copy all of my want lists
to one, delete the "pattern", and then search for that. Just a lot of work
thanks

Yeah, both of them.

No, sellers can’t block US states individually. USA is one country, it’s all
states or none.
But BL has to collect Sale Tax in most US states now. And to do that, BL needs
the payment to be with PayPal Onsite (not “regular” PayPal) or Stripe. So when
the seller doesn’t offer such payment mothed, BL says “they don’t ship to you,”
while it actually means “we’re blocking you from buying because we can’t follow
the law.”
You can contact the sellers and redirect them to the help page: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2467
Lots of sellers still don’t know about that.
