Part No: 2038 Name: Road Sign Round on Pole with Ornate Top Attachment
*
2038 Road Sign Round on Pole with Ornate Top Attachment
Parts: Road Sign

to category: Road Sign

It does not make sense as we have 4 occurrences in Belville Fairy-Tale sets,
4 in Fabuland and 1 in Harry Potter.

It will be the same discussion as to why these bad boys are categorized differently:

Part No: 90398 Name: Minifigure, Utensil Statuette / Trophy
*
90398 Minifigure, Utensil Statuette / Trophy
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil

Minifig No: 90398pb002 Name: Captain America Statuette / Trophy
*
90398pb002 Captain America Statuette / Trophy
Minifigures: Super Heroes: Avengers
Or these:

Part No: 2454  Name: Brick 1 x 2 x 5
*
2454 Brick 1 x 2 x 5
Parts: Brick
[m=sw0984]
And these examples show a different inconsistency: if it is deemed necessary
to place some of the decorated parts in the minifig category, why does poor Han
Solo get a designated minifig item ID (sw0984) whereas Captain America has to
make due with a lowly "pb" extension (instead of IDing him something
like shXXX)?

Niek.

All of these issues are on the long-term plan to be fixed when our new minifigure
guidelines go into effect (hopefully by summer this year). Quick preview: Han
Solo there in carbonite is going to lose his minifigure status.

people who collect all star wars figures and sort by figure ids arent going to
be happy

I should have said "most likely" since all the details are not yet final.
