Is there a light blue somewhere in between those two?

Thanks

Be aware that the 'Brittle Blue' isn't an official LEGO or BrickLink
colour, but is a colour that has been noticed to have occured in the turn of
the century 2000-2003, and the composition of the plastic that this blue is in
is actually more 'Brittle' than the normal plastic, hence the name.

I have actually seen this colour across quite a few elements, including the 2x4
brick.

Earlier this year I was searching for this colour in a 2x4 for my palette, and
had to buy one from an European Seller, and when it arrived, I was so chuffed....

BUT....

Last week, I found one in a Bulk Lot of LEGO that I'd bought in February,
so I could have saved myself some money.... !

Ah well....

Paul

I have been finding lots of this blue when sorting, and throwing them away! And
considering I spent quite a lot of time on my colour chart and the 2x4 collection
I’m surpised I never saw it mentioned before!

This might help to compare, I always find it useful to keep stacks of colour
bricks

Those are all between them ON THAT CHART, but I would only say Maersk Blue is
actually between the colors.

Yeah, sorting something that has at least two dimensions isn’t easy

Sand Blue is more grey

Medium Blue is more blue (dark powder blue?)

Do wedge shapes ever come in two colors on the same piece at the same time? Like
light gray all over or light bluish gray and then black on front edge and
ahorestest side? Or is it more likely the piece would have to be colored on to
achieve this? Top and rest of the piece would be which ever shade of gray it’s
ment to be?

Based on what I heard years ago, some elements could be considered "licensed,"
even if they didn't have a specific license-related shape or print. Sometimes
if a theme group needs a particular element for a model, they can get it, and
it's not available for other theme groups.

I know that a lot of prints are IP-specific, and I know that a lot of molds are
IP-specific, both due to licensing restrictions (can't let everyone use Darth
Vader helmets). For a while, the lightsaber hilt (but probably not the blade)
was one of these molds.

But again, what this sounded like was molds that were available for general use,
but restricting certain colors with that mold to either the Dimensions or
Brickheadz theme. Like everyone gets to use as many 1x1 quarter-round tiles
as they want, but only Brickheadz gets to make it in a few select colors.

The case I was thinking of involved some of the dark green rounded elements for
